We had the greatest of pleasure dealing with Angus at Alan Kerr Motorhomes. Angus was very helpful knowledgeable and understanding of our needs in updating our Motorhome. Well done Angus and good luck for the future. Phil&Hazel.

We took possession of our motorhome in Nov 2025. Chase and the team were helpful throughout the 2 or 3 months it took us to choose the one we wanted. We even put deposits on one then changed our minds to a different one but it was never an issue. We also needed a few extra weeks to sort out finances but again the team were supportive understanding and held onto Beryl the motorhome for us. They put us under no pressure. We have since been out at least every month as it’s now Feb and it was the best thing we have done.. loving it.. best life balance..

Had to write a review regarding my dealings with this company .,If your thinking of purchasing a vehicle from Alan Kerr Ltd then please read all reviews ..In October last year we were looking to buy a Motorhome and after extensive searching found one at Alan Kerr ..We contacted them regarding the Swift Escape 694 and a possible PX ..Week or so later salesperson contacted me and we discussed PX and Cash ..We agreed on a sale and received purchase order with all facts and figures ..Both Reg No,s of New Motorhome and our PX appeared on order along with price ,PX and remaining balance ..
Salesperson then asked for a deposit to secure MH and we paid £5000 deposit .. We agreed a delivery date some 2 weeks later as they were waiting on a new microwave has previous owner had removed it ..( so they said ) Delivery date come and went no contact from Alan Kerr regarding why ..We contacted them and they said Microwave had only just arrived and would need fitting ..so we agreed another delivery date ..this again come and went as did the 2 more delivery dates did ..We had several phone conversations all initiated by myself as communication is non existing from themselves ..They said it was cleared from workshop on the Friday and would be delivered Saturday the following day ..We are now approaching December ..Saturday no show again …Contacted them the following Monday only to be told a problem with boiler had arisen and would need to diagnose issue ..Said it could be 4 to 8 weeks as if wiring required they would need to contact Swift ..Asked for update the following week ..No update arrived so asked for refund ,they said they are looking for another van for us has it would be quicker to source new than repair original van ..Mid December and we’d had enough of their lies and stalling tactics and they said they didn’t know what the confusion was and that they told us it could be closer to 6 months for repair to be completed ..,which is total lies again ..They agreed to refund on the fact of failure to delivery which we had to chase up a few times before refund processed …We then found another Van elsewhere and purchased that with our PX all completed in 10 days ..The funny thing is that the same Van at Alan Kerr Ltd is back on sale all within 2 weeks of our refund …amazing ..,Please avoid the company at all costs ..From start to finish I think we spoke to all employees and kept getting fobbed off /cut off mid call because it’s a poorly run company ..When we’re on our travels in our new MH and happen to be down in Paignton ,I’ll be sure to pop in to showroom and give them my thoughts first hand ..Buy from these at your peril ..,Shocking ..

We were looking for a Murvi motorhome, we live locally and saw Alan Kerr had one for sale, on looking at past feedback, we were worried about purchasing from them. Our worries however were ill founded, right from the very first enquiry with the salesman named Chase, the service we received all the way through was excellent, all work we asked to be done before we took delivery was done without question, and a overheating problem after delivery, was remadied in a very profesional way by Jim the technitian.

Unprofessional. Deceitful cowboys!! Promises not kept, communication non existient Took our deposit for a motorhome 7 weeks ago but then made every excuse to delay delivery. Dont think the van even existed or had been sold or they made a big mistake and offered too much for our van part exchange. Whichever they tried everything to get out of the sale even saying it would be 6 months before delivery. We had to chase constantly for updates then passed from one sales person to another with promises of return calls never kept.Beware and read all the reviews and avoid this company, can't believe they can operate in such a shambolic manner. If I was Alan Kerr or any of the Kerr family I would be embarrassed and mortified to have my name associated with this company.

Excellent customer service and nothing too much trouble. All the staff have made every effort to ensure we were completely satisfied with our new Malibu and rectified any problems immediately. I would thoroughly recommend them.

I had the pleasure of dealing with Ryan and Chase during the purchase of my roller team pegaso. A hefty investment causing me some apprehension. Nevertheless I had nothing of concern to worry about. Ryan was prompt and courteous and took care of everything for me. Chase completed the handover which was thorough and detailed. His friendly service was well received resulting in my complete confidence in my acquisition and after sales dealer support

My Wife and I drove up to Paignton with the intention of purchasing a motor home. We found one we liked, only been on the forecourt for a couple of weeks, we were told, and paid a £500 deposit with the understanding by the salesman and us that we would complete at the end of October. On Sunday 21st ( Nearly a week later) I got a phone call from Ryan telling me that the deposit should have been, £5,000.00. We could easily have paid the extra £4,500.00 if it had been requested. An hour later I received another call from Stewart Kerr telling me that there was some dispute between the salesmen. Nothing further. On 23rd I phoned the company and asked if everything was in order but was fobbed off with untruths. Finally got some sense from Paul who said the Vehicle had been sold to someone else. An hour or so later this was retracted and I was told that the Vehicle was on a sale or return basis and that the owner did not want to wait until the end of October for completion. He also said that the vehicle had been on the forecourt for 3 months. (More lies). We had a contract with Alan Kerr Ltd and this was not being honoured. This contract was confirmed by Trading Standards. We have been left in a situation where we do not know who to believe, lies compounded by more lies and it took 2 or 3 phone calls to even get a verbal apology let alone a refund of our deposit. I asked to speak with Stewart Kerr but was told he was not in the office that day. An hour or so later I was told that Alan Kerr was in a meeting. So, more lies. At one point Ryan offered to find us another motor home but this was declined, saying that I/we would never have further business dealings with Alan Kerr Ltd. We have been very shabbily treated by this company and would warn others not to have any dealings with them. We am still waiting for a formal apology which was requested.

We would like to thank Paul ,the Sales Manager who took the time & effort to show us all the motorhomes & campers that met our criteria, nothing was to much trouble,he even suggested various things that we had not thought of.
When we went to pick up our new motorhome we would like to thank Ryan,the After Sales girls & the Technicians who made the handover a first class experience they even went that extra mile to ensure everything was perfect.What a credit to alankerrltd they are,no problem was insurmountable & sorted with ease.
The whole thing was an excellent experience & I have no problem in recommending them for all your motorhome & campervans needs

Would like to thank Paul for a very smooth buying of our new Renault camper van nothing was to much trouble for him. He was very professional and not pushy giving us the time we needed to choose the correct camper van. We Would also like to thank Chase for putting up with our bombardment of questions through the handover of our van. Which he handled very well and professionally.
Alan Kerr has a great team working for him. We would recommend this company to anyone looking for a motor home or camper van.

After buying our first motorhome from Alan kerr ltd we have got to say how pleased we are with the motorhome and the staff, especially James the salesman. It being our first motorhome James and the rest of the staff went through everything with us. He kept us informed as the motorhome went through servicing and valeting and it was immaculate when we picked the vehicle up. We have only got praise for the whole team especially James.

Hi - this was our first experience of buying a campervan.

We knew we wanted a VW, and James, the salesman, was swift in 'looking out' for one with the guidance of our 'wish list'.

The van we bought is just as we wanted. When we picked it up, it had been cleaned and serviced, and throughout the transaction James was very helpful.
He was thorough with his information and guidance. He is warm and thoughtful. A great experience for us.

There was a small difficulty with a sensor on the van, which signalled to us to return to see them a day later. Without any delay it was attended to by Dan, the mechanic.

Dan was also very helpful, talking us through step by step what the fault was, and how it was going to be fixed.

Within a day or so it was fixed, there was a new part that needed ordering, but it was swiftly, courteously and apologetically repaired.

We are anticipating that if, in the future, we were to upgrade our van, we would return to Alan Kerr to hopefully continue the customer service we have already experienced.

I bought a Bailey Adamo from them, biggest regret of my life.
First of all we agreed a trade in of 35k for my caravan, when I got the paperwork he said that he’s lowered to 25k on paper for VAT reasons, the motorhome was 70k, by taking 10k off our trade in effectively made our invoice £60k, that should have been the first red flag that they’re doing VAT avoidance.
Anyhow we proceeded as we really wanted the motorhome, upon getting there, the whole staff and environment was cold and unwelcoming, we didn’t even get to test drive the motorhome, basically had to get our stuff out the caravan quickly because it was raining and before we even got a few belongings out the caravan the guy was in our way ripping the carpets up damp testing it.
We get back home with the motorhome and the snagging list was longer than my arm along with accident damage we couldn’t see because it had been raining, we contacted them and the aftercare was the most horrendous I have EVER encountered.
We wanted to reject the van and I had a very disgruntled director, Alan Kerr himself give me so much abuse down the phone it bought me to tears and I had to hand the phone to my husband, he refused us rejecting the motorhome and because our invoice said £60k and not £70k because of our vat avoiding salesman had fiddled it he said we would only get 60k back and our caravan went to a 3rd party so couldn’t get that back.
We never actually got to the bottom of all the issues, we ended up rectifying at our own cost and I have the evidence in black and white for their vat avoidance which I should really approach hmrc with as I suspect this is common practice.

Honestly, avoid at all costs. There was a lot of mis-selling and misinformation with this.

Once they’ve taken your money, the customer service ends.

I regretted purchasing my motorhome from this company within 24 hours. Frankly, I’m astonished they’re still in business.

The vehicles they offer are not exclusive — if you find something you like, I strongly recommend getting a price match from another dealer who values after-sales support. Trust me, with a purchase this significant, proper aftercare is absolutely essential.

We have just purchased our third Motorhome from Alan Kerr. I have to say the whole experience from sales to after sales snags has been amazing. They have been absolute professionals. Jason was our sales man. He was informative and knowledgeable. His handover was first class. We had a few snags which have been fixed quickly. Special mention to Brett in the service department and Lily from parts. We will definitely be back for our next motorhome. Thank you to the whole team.

Great experiance purchasing our motorhome from Alan Kerr and the sales manager Jason. What a lovely guy Jason is , keen to do business and helpful with every step of the purchase. Can’t recommend them enough if you need guidance and choice on your motorhome !

The purchase of our new Malibu motorhome was a big decision for us because I have serious health problems but the staff at Alan Kerr were exceptional in every way. In particular Ryan and Rob went above and beyond to help us even down to delivering it to our house.
There were problems between Fiat and Malibu but the guys found workarounds which mitigated these for us.
I have nothing but praise for them and would recommend them without hesitation, thanks to all at AK.

bought my new a class motorhome from here and at the start i thought i had a big mistake ,,but after the initial problems were ironed out ,,they have been great they have been so helpful nothing was too much trouble i wouldn't hesitate to recommend them , all warranty work done without an issue,,

I would recommend. Brett and the lady on reception have been extremely helpful and empathetic. I bought a second hand campervan, it needed a few bits doing. It was booked in and sorted promptly, everything was covered on the warranty, so it was worth the trip back up to Paignton from Plymouth.

we purchased a new Pegaso 590 from Alan Kerr, we picked it up last week and are very happy with it.

Only slight disappointment was that the carpets that came with the van were not correct, however they have been ordered for us and will be sent to us direct from the factory.
