I ordered a ruby and diamond ring…
I ordered a ruby and diamond ring costing about £2500 from All Diamond at the end of last year. The delivery was very delayed.
At first it looked beautiful but when seen under certain light it had what appeared to be scratches. I also had it assessed by a local jeweller who said he could not find a hallmark (a requirement in this country). It was returned and polished which made no difference so it was returned again and it was confirmed by the company itself! .. that it was "fractured inside" something I cannot reasonably be expected to accept responsibility for, with only careful occasional wear. I was offered a replacement ruby (as a good will gesture?) or refund. I foolishly accepted a replacement which took 7 1/2 weeks to be delivered! I (even more foolishly) assumed the 2nd ring would be acceptable but having only worn it 3 times (but sadly the 3rd time was weeks out of the 3 day return period) I noticed the 2nd ring had the same "scratched look" under the surface. I do not expect perfect for this price but under certain light the look is very poor.
The company have refused to refund now as outside of the 30 days, even though I waited for many months in total for delivery, redelivery and then a replacement ruby.
I am disappointed and angry at the quality and treatment after such delays. I have not given one star as "Miriam's " communication was excellent.
Maybe I have just been unlucky with my experience. I hope the company will reconsider their position in this case and reach out to refund. If so I will obviously update the review accordingly.

When you first contacted us regarding the appearance of the ruby, we took your concerns seriously and arranged for the ring to be returned for inspection. Although the ring was outside of our standard returns period, we supplied a replacement ruby ring as a gesture of goodwill to ensure you were satisfied with your purchase.
Natural gemstones can contain internal characteristics and inclusions, and whilst we are always happy to investigate any concerns, we are unfortunately unable to guarantee jewellery against accidental damage or issues that arise after wear. The replacement ring was thoroughly checked before dispatch and found to be in excellent condition.
We appreciate your kind comments regarding Miriam's communication throughout the process and are sorry that we have been unable to reach a resolution that meets your expectations.

Ordered 3 rings on 3 seperate ocassions, with 3 seperate 5 week waits...
Ordered 3 rings, 3 different times...all 3 took 5 weeks to arrive.
They dont tell you this till after you pay.
Only thing that lets them down because my mrs was over the moon with them all. But alot of stress and worry with the first order as it was for a Proposal. And I was racing against the clock...
But if you dont mind the wait, they are well worth it. Beautiful diamonds. For my 3rd order i was already expecting to have to wait 5 weeks again, so I put it in my diary and it came exactly 5 weeks later.
Only thing is you have to repond to an email to confirm you want the ring made still (even though you have paid for ot already) And the 5 week process wont start until you have
..so dont go missing any emails!
Seems to be made to order... from what ive read..not on all items..mainly rings.
Overall though if you dont need your items in a rush, then the 5 week wait is well worth it.

We do appreciate your comments regarding delivery times. Due to the vast number of ring designs, metal options and finger sizes available, it is simply not practical for us to hold every ring in every size in stock. As a result, some rings need to be made to order, although not all orders are made this way.
We do state on each product page that, after an order is placed, we will contact customers with an estimated delivery date. At that stage, customers can decide whether they would like to proceed. If an item is required for a specific date, we always encourage customers to let us know, as we will do our very best to expedite production and delivery wherever possible.
We also recommend placing orders well in advance of any important occasion. This allows sufficient time for production if required and provides flexibility for any exchanges or adjustments that may be needed once the item arrives.
Thank you again for your honest feedback and for your continued trust in us. We are delighted that the quality of our jewellery and the value offered have kept you coming back, and we look forward to helping you again in the future.

It did take longer than expected to recieve my ring. This was due to my size having to be made. The team were always on hand replying and the wait was worth it. Stunning ring well made and great price

After wearing my necklace since receiving I have to be honest & report I’m very disappointed with the necklace, the pendant I love but the chain has already gone dark almost black, again very disappointing
