I am the mother of 2 children one in year 13 and one in year 8 they are doing very well in school the teachers are very good at explaining and helping students understand difficult content very good cooperation and communication even with the fees they are understanding and no rush this is the second year my younger daughter in year 8 is attending this school she joined not knowing how to write a letter in Arabic now she can read and write and speak confidently love this school thank you to the school for everything may allah bless them and i recommend every parent to try this school for a smooth stress free experience

Our daughter recently completed Year 4 at Al Rushd and due to unforeseen life circumstances, we have made the difficult decision to withdraw her. Despite this, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude towards the teachers and staff who provided such dedicated care for all the children. We were impressed by the discipline and well planned curriculum complete with detailed recordings for future reference. Also you get regular updates from teachers and staff.

We highly recommend Al-Rushd to all Muslim families considering home/online schooling or to digital nomads like me. Your child will receive the best education within an excellent Islamic environment from the comfort of their own home, free from bullying and daily travels.

If things change for us in the future, Al-Rushd would be our only choice.

I found the school to be consistent and sincere in their efforts to nuture well mannered, highly educated muslim children who can go on to be positive members of society. Communication with the school has been very good and feedback has always been taken on board. I am fully aware of my child's activities in class, catch up can be done through recordings or lessons and I get emails for absences and all other communications.

They nuture the child both religiously and academically with kindness and frequent polite but firm reminders on adhering to the rules. My child has progressed a lot in the last year and I would highly recommend the school.

My son really enjoys the lessons and the teachers work hard to make home learning easier.

Teaching at Al Rushd has been a truly rewarding experience. As a primary teacher, I had the privilege of connecting with students from diverse backgrounds around the world, all within a supportive and inclusive learning environment grounded in strong Islamic values.

One of the most fulfilling aspects of my role was helping young learners—some as young as five—overcome a variety of learning barriers. From guiding students in reading, writing, and speaking English, to supporting them in improving their focus and confidence, I was able to contribute meaningfully to their educational journey.

It was especially rewarding to work with students who were completely new to formal education. Al Rushd provided them with a safe and nurturing space, and I was proud to be part of a team that delivered a rich and engaging learning experience to these children.

As parents, we truly value the efforts of Al-Rushd Independent School in delivering high-quality education and Tarbiah through an online platform. The school has done an excellent job maintaining strong Islamic values, regular assessments, and structured feedback. Our child has benefited both academically and spiritually, and we have seen real growth in character and discipline, Alhamdulillah.

That said, we would like to kindly suggest an area for improvement—checking student understanding during the online lessons, not just through homework or participation from a few confident students. In an online setting, it’s especially important to ensure that all pupils are engaged and following the topic. Teachers could incorporate more interactive methods such as asking a variety of students direct questions, using live polls or quizzes, or quick recap activities to gauge understanding in real time.

Despite this, the overall experience has been extremely positive. If anyone were to ask me whether they should consider withdrawing their child from a regular school to join Al-Rushd—or a similar online Islamic school—my answer would be a confident and experience-based “yes.” The level of care, academic structure, and Islamic environment make it a strong choice for any family seeking well-rounded development for their child.

My son has been with Al Rushd for about 4 weeks now and I'm pleased with the school. The lessons are engaging and communication from the school is very good.

Salaam, I'm really impressed with the progress made at Al rushd, my 2 children couldn't read or write English properly when they started even though they were year 3 and 4 because they had been taught arabic as their first language. This second year of Al rushd they are achieving between 80 to 100 percent in all exams and they both really enjoy the school and their class and the relationship with the teachers. When you start online studying at the beginning it is difficult adjusting but if you persevere I believe the results are much better than a state school or a school with a class of 30 children. Jazaahum allahu khairaa at Al rushd for their amazing progress and help!

Al Rushed provides an excellent online education experience for our children. They offer a wonderful learning environment that is thoughtfully blended with engaging extracurricular activities, ensuring that students remain interested and never feel bored with online learning. My son, Mustafa, has been studying at Al-Rushd Online School for nearly two years now, Alhamdulillah, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. The school offers a well-structured curriculum that beautifully integrates both Islamic and academic education, a true balance of Deen and Dunya in one place.

The lessons are thoughtfully planned, and the teachers are absolutely outstanding, patient, and genuinely dedicated. They create an engaging and nurturing learning environment that supports both educational and spiritual development.

My daughter joined this school two weeks ago and settled in very quickly.The teachers were very welcoming and helpful and the learning environment is outstanding and she absolutely loved the student facilities.The admissions team is superb and are very understanding of student and parent needs.I definitely recommend this school to everyone.

My son has started an amazing journey with Al Rushd alhamdullilah, an organisation which makes you feel proud to be able to achieve the goals of home education within the UK curriculum, simultaneously inspiring young minds through Islamic values. The timetable is perfect to ensure that children receive the right balance of contact time and rest to re energise between lessons. I like how the school works towards ensuring that islamic teachings are adhered to. The school day is not absorbed with irrelevant content and I have found that my son very much enjoys this approach to teaching. It is a bonus that this school acknowledges the importance of dedicating time to faith outside school hours by ensuring that the timetable allows out of school time to attend Friday Prayers and time off during Ramadan. This type of balance can only be achieved through a well structured programme like the one developed by A Rushd. In sh Allah, I am confident that my son will progress and develop well with this School. My son really enjoys his time at AlRushd and has already made friends in his short time there. Previously, getting him to attend his state school each morning was a challenge, but now he’s eager to join his classes and actively participates in lessons. Al rushd is a very good school I change my children in January for this online school For personal reasons. And I am satisfied with it. We really see what the children are learning from what they are doing and we can help them as best we can. The teachers are accessible if we have questions. 👌

I have 2 children attending Al Rushd, my kids enjoy the lessons very much and have made several friendships, the teachers are lovely and friendly, doing the most they can for my children which I highly appreciate. The fact that my kids attended an Islamic school makes me proud and grateful.

My son has been attending year 7 since this September and despite having reservations of attending an online school. He very much enjoys the lessons and has made several friendships at Al Rushd.
He loves his teachers, they are very friendly and always ready to go above and beyond for their students. Ensuring Islam is at the focal point of all lessons I am proud that my son is attending this school.
