I do like most of the new changes. I know it is difficult to please everyone. I am good with all the changes.

I love all the information that is given to help me make better choices to support my goals. I have had Alter for over a year now and have seen a lot of great changes.

The product is FANTASTIC and the customer service is OUTSTANDING! I feel like this ring and the data from my DNA is helping me achieve my fitness goals

Ring is very good, help me control my sleep with all the numbers and I use a lot the heart rates for my cardio sessions. I really recommend if you want to take care of your health.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. I can be very inept with technology sometimes and I never felt stupid when things were explained to me. The product is also pretty user friendly which I appreciate. All around, a great experience with a great company!!

I love how easy this program is to incorporate into your day to day. I wear my ring while I sleep, wake up, open my app and I know how I slept and what workouts I should do that day. I have the mirror and it makes it so much easier to commit where I've created a space for my to work out and follow along all while tracking my heart rate.

Customer service is also great and are there to help where needed.

I would strongly caution anyone considering purchasing from Alter Me.

I ordered a smart ring from them, and it did not work as advertised. Because of that, I returned the product in February 2026 following their stated return process. After they received the item, I was emailed confirmation that a refund would be issued.

That refund never came.

To make matters worse, I am still being charged even after returning the ring. So not only did the product fail, but the company has continued billing me while withholding my refund.

I have done everything on my end correctly. I returned the item, followed their process, and relied on their written confirmation. At this point, I am left without the product, without my refund, and dealing with ongoing charges.

This has been extremely frustrating and feels misleading at best. I would recommend that others be very careful before purchasing, especially given the issues with returns and billing.

Good luck getting your results! It doesn’t matter if you schedule a call because they call when they feel like it. Called the number left in a follow up email and didn’t get anywhere. Asked for a supervisor and got nowhere! Save your money! This whole operation is a fraud!

I’ve been enjoying AlterMe so far. I like the ring and how workouts adjust based on rest. it feels personalized. Having the workouts in the app is also nice since I don’t need other fitness subscriptions.
I do wish they added new workouts more often, and it would be great to save/favorite ones I like.
The app updates a lot, which is fun. The new food tracking with just photos is surprisingly accurate. I used to track everything manually, so this saves a ton of time.
Planning to keep using it

I have attempted to reach Alterme several times by phone and email with no success. I never received my DNA kit, and now have been on the phone waiting for someone to pick up for 40 minutes. This is absolutely horrible. They have my money and I have not even gotten to speak with anyone. Strongly DO NOT recommend. the date listed for "date of experience" is the most recent. I have been trying to reach them since January 27!!!

I’ve been a member since September and unfortunately this is an expensive lesson learned.
This ring sucks, it’s bulky and I am constantly moving it to different fingers because it gets in the way of grabbing or holding stuff. And I was unable to return it because they only give you 30 days per their return policy. Ugh
And seemingly the ring doesn’t recognize any of my workouts that are done outside of the app. For example, I’ve been doing Pilates and swimming, and I take walks and it doesn’t register any of it. Disappointed!
Finally, the financial company the makes sure they get your money is also a joke. I reached out to them to let them know I am unable to register my account online using any browser or any device. And all I received from them, is a message telling me how to register my account, and nothing addressing the errors I sent to them.
I hate it.

I had the DNA test done and was a bit annoyed from the start because they send repeated, many repeated texts to urge you to send it back promptly. Even after I had sent it, dropped it at the post office, several days later, I got another text saying my package had not been scanned by the post office. It had. Their system just lags. It's just annoying to get so many reminders. Then the kit was processed and once it was done I was texted to set up a one-on-one consultation. So I did that. Received a meeting invite, accepted, and then received again multiple texts reminding me. One at 24 hours before, one an hour before, one 15 minutes before. It was ridiculous. I had several reps tell me the texts are auto generated, as though they're not responsible for them and don't control the frequency. So I was ready for my call and nothing. Rep stood me up. Utterly obnoxious. About an hour after the meeting time, he texted and said my report was in my portal. No mention of the meeting. No mention that he was a no-show. I asked why he didn't call as scheduled. Never responded and not heard from since.

After further research I have learned they do a serious hard abusive sell during those meetings to buy their $3k system. It's good that he didn't call because I would have hung up.

The report is interesting and I think was worth the $30. They claim they usually charge $100, but I've not seen anyone have to pay full price, so the "sale" is a sham. So overall I'm glad to have the report. But I will have nothing else to do with them.

Companies do so much better and are so much more reputable when they are not so completely obvious that all they want is to upsell you. But from a $30 product to $3000? Um, no.

I was skeptical at first because I've seen a lot of health gimmicks online. But the Alterme DNA test was actually insightful. The report explained why intermittent fasting never worked for me and suggested adjustments that made sense. The ring keeps me accountable daily. Overall, a solid system if you're serious about optimizing your health.

Upon determining that my ring wasn't charging and all steps had been taken to attempt to charge it, the representative kindly offered me a replacement ring, free of charge. I thought I was going to be out of luck, but I was pleasantly surprised how simple it was to get the replacement and stay on my journey.

I really thought I was going to love this ring, but honestly I’m a little disappointed for the price.

There are definitely things I like about it. I enjoy the different workout and tracking options, and I like the idea of having something small and wearable instead of a bulky watch. The concept is great and the data it provides can be helpful.

However, the actual ring itself doesn’t feel as high quality as I expected at this price point. It just doesn’t feel as premium as I thought it would.

The biggest issue for me has been the app. It takes a long time to load and sync, and there have been multiple days where I wore the ring all day and it didn’t track anything. That’s really frustrating when the whole point is to track your activity and health metrics.

Overall, I like the idea of the ring and the variety of tracking options, but for the price I expected a smoother app experience and more reliable tracking. Right now it just doesn’t quite feel worth the cost.

Took the DNA test and then used me Alterme Ring it's so easy to wear and syncs seamlessly and the app is free as long as your training. It look me about couple of weeks I'm more consistent with workouts and sleep patterns. the personalization is real and showing results!

I have been able to actually stick to a work out routine for almost a year! This program keeps me accountable and gives me the health monitoring aspects of oura and also takes care of giving me recommendations and work outs based on that information which is super helpful. I feel stronger and healthier than I did a year ago. The biggest draw back I have found is that I haven't lost a ton of weight which was lower on the priority list, but still a goal of mine. I've recently added barbells and complex movements into my routine which has hastened weight loss more than band work outs but I have to go out of the app for that. The other thing I wish it had was a more straight forward stretching routine based on my mobility issues rather than generalized yoga routines or active stretching.

AlterMe makes it easy for me to track my food intake and sleep, and I love the variety of workout options and accountability! I love that my profile is tailored to ME, using many data points to customize my plan. I’ve really enjoyed the strength workouts, and I am impressed with a number of the enhancements they’ve made since joining.

I like using Alterme, I was initially just interested in the DNA test. I ordered the DNA test and then had an advisor call to go over it. The genetic breakdown was interesting (especially the carb sensitivity and recovery markers), and he tied it into how the ring tracks sleep and daily strain. I was already committed to purchasing the full system but the call with the advisor shifted toward upgrading, which felt a little intense. But overall the explanation of how the wearable data connects to my genetics was actually helpful.

I have been using alter me for about two years now and it has changed my fitness game to make it more sustainable. It doesn't pressure you to wear yourself out and actually encourages you to take work in days when you don't sleep good,etc. it has helped me be able to make an easy fitness plan especially while being a mom of two. I love that I can do workouts at home that are effective and I can also track my workouts at the gym. The ring has been so nice for me to be able to track my steps and sleep. I have loved alter me and everything that comes with my fitness plan. It's easy to track food too which has helped me lose weight! I recommend it to everyone. Especially my mama friends!
