Vroeg of ik aangesproken werd of ik een keer kon mee doen.
Hier werd ja op gezegd en hoor net aan de telefoon dat ik ineens een lidmaatschap heb? Heel erg typisch weer. Doe hier wat aan want je jat gewoon geld van andere terwijl je zogenaamd een goed doel bent.
Mooi verhaal ophangen dat je voor gay rights bent en dat dat het doel is. Vervolgens zit je er een op te lichten, bedankt.

Wie mir scheint wird diese Organisation von höchst suspekten Ökogestalten welche in einem Schneeballsystem gefangen gehalten werden zusammengehalten. Ein UNFASSBARER Saftladen der durch aufdringliches und nebenbei bemerkt illegales Verhalten still und heimlich Gelder erschleicht. Wacht auf!!!

I tried to contact Amnesty International in order to become a member and to make a monthly contribution to their funds. What started off as a pleasurable thing to do had become but half an hour later just another source of frustration and disillusion.
First, their website is just an endless cycle of clicking on links to get to where you want to go only finding that the next link requires yet another link to be clicked...
More seriously and ultimately what led to my failure, was the fact that someone or something is blocking access to Amnesty International's web pages (Spain) for Membership and for Donations. Who is doing this and why? Why haven't AI become aware of this? All in all, a complete waste of time and that's before I started reading the less than flattering set of reviews on Trust Pilot for an organization that should be a moral beacon in the world...

Amnesty International are a joke, all they want money for is for Executive salaries, Pensions, Cars, and conferences telling you lies about what alleged good work they are doing, They did nothing for Julian Assange, Do not give them any money to fund their lavish life style.
They do nothing about people in the UK being continually arrested on lies by the Police, held in custody and never charged with anything, MDP terrorising and harassing innocent people for years when they have a right to roam in the Country, on private land minding their own business, Amnesty International protects Nazi Fascist Behaviour in the UK by the Police, MDP and Government etc.

Absolut thieves! A few years back, they stopped me, and I agreed to talk with them, I gave my details, but I never confirmed that I would provide some money monthly. After a few years, last December, they started to take 15 euros per month from nowhere!! I asked in January(after two transactions) to cancel my subscription, and the day when they cancelled, they took another 15 euros, so basically, they took 30 euros in one month. Absolutely distressful!!

I had a door-to-door lady from Amnesty come to my door and she talked about women's rights and supporting the cause. Well, there is definitely more to it than that, right? I realized I was supporting for an organization that did not support the country that I supported.

However the main problem was that I had set up donation so that I would be charged $5 QUARTERLY. But looking at my account I had been charged (since September 2022) $5 monthly and then all of a sudden for November and December, the charge went up to $15. MONTHLY. How does that even happen? I cancelled everything via phone and I regret signing up.

Don't donate to Amnesty!

Good book store with decent selection of esoteric material in the heart of Cambridge.

Great books and store with a wide variety of many genres. They will accept donations from most locals also. Place has a sometimes decent selection of comics too.

You are almost "harassed" on the street to donate. Customer center hardly reachable. Cancellation has taken place, but only after several emails and phone calls.
The association itself does questionable things (e.g. their statements on the Ukraine war).

Better not donate anything here!

This organisation is supposed to be against all types of discrimination against all people ? , but like the council and the police they ignore discrimination against people with mental health issues who have been harassed and stalked by a Gay person .
Gay people will always be the victim and people with mental health disabilities will always be the ones imagining everything as their problems are always in their heads .
This discrimination against people with mental health disabilities has to stop .
Any group of people / any person is capable of showing hatred towards any group of people or person .
But obviously when it's a Gay person who's dishing out the hatred and not being a victim of such , amnesty international can't even be bothered to answer an email asking for help and advice .
But I'm sure they would have no problem accepting a donation from me ?
There's just too many so called caring charities in the UK who turn a blind eye to people with Mental health disabilities who are the ones being harassed , stalked and discriminated against .
It seems the equality laws in the UK don't apply to people with mental health disabilities because it seems they are still allowed to be discriminated against .

Hello people, I am from Ukraine, was discriminated in Germany, tried to complain just to protect myself in order to be integrated and work. But received threatening from germans even, not allowed to complain or say something "to close my mouth and to do only what they say to me" Cannot find any organisation to help. I see for Amnesty is also bad references in Germany.Is it Genozid of Ukrainians in EU or there are some working institutions? Pls 🙏 which?

I have been a member of Amnesty for more than 10 years and supportive of work done in mny countries. I now left them after their report on the war in Ukraine. Having read the report, it’s obvious that they take no consideration to the fact that Russia is the aggressor, and their scewed point of view can be nothing but Kremlin-backed propaganda. Check put their homepage; they try to wag the dog as well as they can. Congrats FSB, you managed to infiltrate Amnesty to the very top.

Ignoring the genocide in Ukraine. Go to Russia with the other fascists. Absolute scum of an organization.

C’est avec consternation que j’ai lu votre rapport critiquant les tactiques militaires ukrainiennes.
Que faudrait-il donc faire ? Laisser villes et villages vides de soldats pour que les russes puissent plus commodément piller, détruire, violer, torturer et exécuter?
Documentez-vous. Lisez des rapports de professionnels, de spécialistes que vous n’êtes pas et qui vous expliqueront que votre vision de la guerre ne correspond à aucune réalité.
Les batailles dans les champs et les forêts sont d’un autre âge. Elles n’appartiennent pas à l’histoire contemporaine.
Dédouaner ainsi l’armée russe d’une partie des pertes civiles…
