Thank you for your review. We are sorry that you did not receive a reply to your message at the time. Unfortunately, both enquiries mentioned were sent during a period when a member of our team, Sue, was very unwell and we were dealing with a difficult family situation, which meant some enquiries were regrettably missed.

This was an exceptional situation and certainly not the level of service we normally provide. We receive a very large number of WhatsApp and email enquiries each day and always do our best to respond to everyone.

We were very sorry to hear about the loss of your mother, and we truly appreciate you welcoming Sue into your home during what must be a difficult time for your family. Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that you feel dissatisfied with your experience.

Our website clearly states that we buy a wide range of antiques, jewellery, silver, watches and furniture. However, it is not always possible for us to make offers or provide valuations on every item submitted to us, particularly if the items fall outside the areas we specialise in purchasing.

We would also like to clarify that we always aim to respond to enquiries politely and professionally. We do not intentionally ignore enquiries, and we certainly do not intend to be rude to anyone. If our response was interpreted that way, we sincerely apologise.

Regarding your comment about us saying we did not have a customer under your name, we simply could not locate a matching record in our system at the time. If you would like to contact us again with further details, we would be happy to review the matter.

We take our reputation very seriously and strive to provide a professional and courteous service to everyone who contacts us.

We take reviews very seriously, however we cannot locate any record of contact from you under this name in our enquiry records.

In order for us to investigate properly, please could you provide the date you contacted us, the email address used, or a screenshot of the message you sent so we can locate the correspondence.

We receive a large number of enquiries each day and unfortunately sometimes messages can be sent to the wrong address or filtered into spam folders.
