The worst customer service. Do not use them. Often, I was dealing with a woman named Ursula. She was terrible. I never got to see a doctor. They constantly lied to me, belittled me, and we're incredibly unwilling to give information about a doctor I could see in my area. Every doctor I spoke to told me they didn't take Aon as it was outside the Dutch system. My contract has finally ended and I am having to demand it in writing that the contract has ended. Genuinely awful.

Refund almost anything, ask you to first ask your home country insurance before using their service which gives them sacred opportunity to not do their job.

It took me so much time to have my refund, I had to call them tons of time and wrote so many emails because I was being ignored.

They take 3 months to process claims, and they reject any medications receipts and invoices, no matter what the medication is.

Oplichterij! FRAUD! Don´t waste your money!

Mensen pas op!! Dit bedrijf is pure oplichterij, je betaalt maandelijks maar krijgt letterlijk niks voor terug. 3 maanden geleden naar Toerist Doctor geweest in Amsterdam. Op advies AON heb uiteindelijk 100 euro uit eigen zak betaald. Dat zou ik terug kunnen declareren, maar daar komt niks van terecht! Eerst moet je 2-3 maanden wachten, daarna nog eens 8 weken en uiteindelijk krijg je niks teruggestort, omdat het op een of andere manier niet onder hun voorwaardes valt. Pure onzin en oplichterij!!!

People be carful with this FRAUD company!!! They are ONLY after your money!

Went to see a doctor in beginning of march and opened claim on the same day on their website. It’s been almost 3 months and the claim is still being processed. It is an EU-wide legal requirement to process claims under 30 days and on their website they promise to process them in 5.

Also, againts the promise on their website ”FAQ”, they’re unable to provide a Guarantee of Payment for a MRI that the doctor referred me for. They direct me to AIG and they refuse and ask to contact AON.

Incompetent, inefficient and destructive pointless rules.

Worst company I've ever had to deal with. I've had insurance with them for over a year. They take sometimes 3 months to reimburse costs (all of which you have to pay upfront and then submit a claim) and the customer service is horrible. I've been trying to find out if a new doctor would be covered and have been put on hold for a representative for over an hour. I'm pretty sure they don't have anyone answering calls because this is always the case and I have yet to ever reach an actual person. The other option is to email them, which they then send an automatic reply saying they'll get back to me in a few weeks. Also, they sometimes do not pay back claims or get back to me about them at all.

Pure oplichterij.

Ik was tijdens mijn studie anderhalf jaar verzekerd bij aon à 25 euro in de maand.
Ik heb één keer een rechstbijstandvraag gesteld.
Aon heeft zich vervolgens via vier verschillende Claim Handlers een maand lang bezig gehouden met het ontwijken van de vraag.
Na drie keer hun argument waarom mijn claim ongeldig zou zijn te hebben ontkracht, en zij dus voor de vierde keer met een nieuwe reden kwamen aanzetten, heb ik de verzekering stopgezet en een andere oplossing gezocht.

Ik raad u aan hetzelfde te doen, aan de "beste verzekering voor studenten" van aon heeft u helemaal niets.

Keep away! They cheated me for approx. 1500 USD. My U.S. university had a set of requirement for what the insurance should cover. I asked Aon if they met those requirements. They answered me back: "AON Student Insurance is definitely meeting the requirements." They did not. When I found out, it was too late to get another insurance, and I was forced to accept the school insurance premium that was 1500 USD more expensive that what I could have gotten otherwise. What a waste of time, money and energy that I could have used on concentrating on my education instead. Now they are even giving me trouble getting a full refund. How much more life shall be wasted on this? Do yourself a favor. Keep away.
