A mixed experience; We had a lorry to take a load to storage one day and another to take a load to our onward address the next. Not enough boxes were delivered on day one so we struggled with package for for store and on day two only two chaps turned up which was completely inadequate (we had been told there would be more). Fortunately whilst we were pleased with Pawel, Rory and Rowan on day one, Harry and Ben on day two were extraordinary - they worked non-stop on the packing until after 7pm with commitment and good humour, followed by full day's drive and unpacking the following day. Disappointing organisation but full marks to the exceptional team

I booked Armishaws to undertake the packing of goods and to remove me to my new address.
Subsequently the agreed completion date was not met and I therefore I had to telephoned cancel and rebook.
It was not, made clear at the time of booking I would have to forfeit the full price of removals if I had to cancel within 36 hours, I believe this should be clearly stated in the quotation not hidden away in the terms and conditions.
I have since moved with another company, plus received other quotes from a few more companies and after this terrible experience from Armishaws I did check if they had this horrible clause in, they Terms & Conditions which none of them have.
So been warned a small clause in the Terms and Conditions can cost a lot of money like me.
My experience Armishaws has not been at all good and will not be recommending them to anyone.

Great support and help from the Armishaws team throughout, from first visit to moving day. They certainly helped to make a stressful day alot less stressful! Particularly impressed by their polite management of members of public/neighbours when the vehicle blocked the road during loading/unloading.

Armishaws made moving day a success. Alan, Nick and Sam were great and couldn't have been more helpful going above and beyond what could have been expected. They were always cheerful and helpful, making moving day easy. Their estimator was very reassuring and we think it was great value too. Highly recommended. With Armishaws, you are in very experienced hands and nothing is too much trouble.

The two guys Darin and Doug who moved my stuff were excellent at both ends, very friendly and got my stuff in and out in very good time and left no mess which was appreciated.

Having to move a large amount of Household items, the Armishaws removal team were excellent. The very helpful, efficient and friendly three man team of Alan, Sam and Rory made the stressful move so much easier. Thank you very much.

Sam and Ben were brilliant: friendly, understanding and extremely efficient and professional. Moving is a difficult process, and they made it much less stressful.

Lovely chaps who know what they’re doing. Sam and Ben were very polite and worked very hard making a few jokes along the way to make our day just that even bit better. Would definitely recommend and will book again for our next move!

Sam & Ben were great! They arrived a day early to help start packing up our house and were a massive help.
Both were really friendly and polite and very professional.
Our little boy was sad to see them leave when they had finished.

A good crew lead by a good leader - Darren. Worked together well despite sitting out out a four hour late completion on Friday without complaint. Follow up crew very good too. All very can do.

We moved on the 9/10 of January we had the 2 most efficient and polite movers we could ask for in and out on the pack day withing 4hrs which was speedy and efficient and on the drop of the next day was even better nothing damaged and everything was placed where the boxes was marked while I try and set up the 2 bed room both Sam and Ben just unpacked the truck round me I was very happy with the team and how the move went.

We used Armishaws at the end of October 2024,the team were very fast and overly efficient and did not listen when asked not to pack personal items we had left on the bed in our room, they were to go with us in our car, I had to leave the house for 10 minutes returned to find they had packed them. I asked in which boxes were they the young guy could not remember. A few days after the move when we had finished the unpacking one item was missing reported it to the general manager and to the police, made a statement hoped that the item would be found. Waited 10 weeks no response from Armishaws, when I phoned the general manager, he said they did not insure those sort of items and it was my fault, he was aggressive and he did shout at me ( I did not raise my voice at all ) I felt that this was not my fault as they had been asked not to touch those items, wrote a letter of complaint to the directors of Armishaw and never received an answer or acknowledgement of my letter. The items that never arrived at our new home where the only connection I had to my late Mother and Sister, so shame on them all.

My removal was very efficient, quick and organised thanks to Arthur, Lloyd and Coleahr (sorry spelling). John (transport manager) was also helpful and reduced my stress levels to a manageable level. Again a huge thank you to all the boys involved. A definite recommendation for others.

The 3 men that helped us move were friendly, professional, prompt and handled all of our goods and furniture with utmost care. Would use this company again and recommend to anyone. Fantastic service. Shout out to Alex for handling the warhammer with the best of care also 😄

Thank you for doing our move last week from Swindon to Lincolnshire. The team were excellent, particularly Gary and Craig who did the full move. Their hard work and polite, helpful service made it a straightforward and relatively low stress experience.

Those is the 2nd time this year that I've used the moving services of Armishaws. I learnt a few tricks from the first move and it made the experience so much smoother.

Ben & Sam are an absolute delight. They are professional,polite and hardworking. We started in Wiltshire which was cold and today it was cold and miserable in Wales but it didn't put a dampener on their efforts.

If I was to move again, I would not only use Armishaws but I'd ask for both Ben & Sam to do the job.

Armishaws were excellent in sorting out our move from the south of Reading to Bristol. Highly responsive and helpful, they gave great advice and we felt in very safe hands throughout. Moving can be a stressful experience but we had a rather easy time of it thanks to their experience, friendliness and professionalism. We have unpacked the bulk of our items and are yet to identify anything that suffered even a scratch during the move. Special thanks to Craig, Andrew, Taylor, Andy, Alec and the finance/admin team. If we ever need to move again we know who to call.
