Hopeless

trying to establish delivery time for a new laptop.

Nobody answers any of the numbers on the website (the main landline sounds like it's been diverted to a foreign number while the 0844 number just keeps ringing and ringing.

The chatbot sits there and does nothing.

Reluctantly say this but - not to be trusted.....

My printer is a HP Deskjet 930C that I brought with my first computer in 2001 I was having the classic flashing orange light problem. The computer would not recognise the colour cartridge and I could not turn off the printer otherwise i would have to do a hard reset for the Black and White cartridge to work.
The 4 stars are for the quality of the repair. Despite the printer arriving with black ink spillage due to the way Royal Mail handled my printer in transit. The engineer who repaired my printer was obviously knowledgeable. The problem was quickly diagnosed, ink spillage cleaned up, the carriage assembly which was the cause of the problem replaced and my printer fully serviced. This is company that specialises in the selling and refurbishing of printers.
It WAS expensive after the cost of insuring and sending the printer to them, the cost of repair and
return courier fees.
However my printer had given me good service over the years and I had not found any printers to match its quality and it is working beautifully again. So for me it was worthwhile .. and green!!!
My only gripe is that it would have been better to have a courier collect from my home. I was instead given an address to send the printer to once I had paid upfront and take it to the post office.
Overall, I would use this company again and recommend to others but be prepared for the expensive outlay.

The printer that I wanted wasn't in stock so I was sold a newer model at a discount which was very good of them. Although there was a slight delay with the delivery the refurbished machine works perfectly and Darren from the sales team was very helpful.

Darren at Athema kept in touch during the whole process of me buying a printer and made sure I was happy with my purchase.

The printer I purchased appears (so far!) to be in terrific working order: it even arrived with inks! Communications have been first class and the delay in delivery was not in any way due to Athema.
All in all: I would totally recommend this company.

I received awful customer service from this company. I will never buy anything from them ever again. I placed an order for a product, which I didn't receive after a few days. I emailed customer services, who at first informed me that it had been delivered.

After requesting the delivery date and time, they then informed me it hadn't been delivered, and that their courier had tried three times and failed. I received no communication from the courier to let me know they had attempted a delivery. I explained that I am at work during the day and was unable to sign for the parcel, and requested the parcel was either left outside, or with a neighbour, which wasn't possible; a signature from myself was mandated.

I then received a rather aggressive and angry phone call from the customer services operative, who found it unreasonable for me to not be in the house all day to sign for a parcel; I did not pay money to be shouted at, and spoken to in an aggressive manner down the phone.

In the end the parcel was returned to their warehouse, and they made arrangements to deliver again. I worked from home for two days to ensure I could receive the parcel, and they failed to deliver.

Another attempt was made and once they finally delivered, it transpires they have delivered the wrong product. An absolute joke, and a waste of time - do not order from this company! And yes Darren, you do deserve a one star review.

5 working days and no delivery or information as to when that would be.
A very poor performance.
This came about as the printers are refurbished after being ordered this was not pointed out on the web site or during our telephone conversation, I hope they will fix this oversite and give a delivery time to avoid disgruntled customers in the future.

Ordered a brand new graphics card around noon on Tuesday and it arrived in perfect condition and well wrapped in the afternoon on the next day.

From my limited experience with Athema I would not hesitate to recommend dealing with Darren, he seems very professional.

The only advice I would give him is to send the tracking number when the item has been despatched, I had to email him to get that. But apart from that, an pleasure to do business with.

After looking for a printer to replace ours, found exactly what we wanted on this site. We were kept informed of what was going on by email and phone by Darren. Printer arrived safely and well packed.

Athema were completely unknown to me, but upon reading the testimonials left by customers, I felt safe to make a very significant purchase. Whilst communication was always flowing (in a timely manner) back and forth, it sometimes lacked substance. That said, Darren did absolutely everything in his remit to rectify my concerns and ensure that I was left with nothing but a huge smile. Athema is extremely price competitive, and happened to be the second cheapest in the UK for the high-end PC I purchased. The item arrived quickly, within days, and in pristine condition. I would highly recommend Athema, but please do bare in mind, that Athema only provides a 7 day limited warranty, so read the terms and condition before purchase, and then you shouldn’t be disappointed or confused. I don’t ever give 10/10 to a new company that I have never used before, but Athema deserve 10/10 - period. And lastly, I just want to thank you Darren for your continued support; you’ve been brilliant. Well done!
