Easy ordering from website. Part finder agreed with what I was expecting. Product arrived before expected date, in original sealed packaging and in good condition. I haven't fitted the bulbs yet due to weather conditions but hoping they are ok.

I was sent second hand bulbs, clearly fitted previously as covered in mud and packaging all torn, packing spacers missing.

Not Twenty20 bulbs as advertised, cheap Chinese copy.

2 Weeks to process a response for exchange.

Called for full refund. Terrible attitude from Customer services saying ' We don't have to give you a refund'. Amazing as item not in stock. No ETA. Told me its a warranty issue. What when they have never been installed by me.

Looks like I need to raise a trading standards case.

This is the second very poor experience with ABD.

Fast shipping easy communication

I ordered a set of headlight bulbs from ABD. The price was good, and at the basket page the website told me that I qualified for *free postage*. When I moved to the payment page, I was charged postage. I went back to the basket to try again, and once again it said I qualified for free postage, but then the payment page insisted on postage. This is against retail laws, isn't it ? When you are charged a higher price at the checkout than the basket price .... That is illegal.

I complained to ABD, and the response was "Really sorry that you feel that the process is misleading. This is an automatic system which we do not have any control over". In other words, sorry, but we're not interested enough to fix this for you, and we don;t care that this is potentially illegal.

Anyway, having been forced to pay postage when I placed my order on Sunday evening, my delivery was scheduled for Wednesday 6th or Thursday 7th. It is now the end of Thursday 7th, and there is no sign of my bulbs, and the courier website simply says "Your delivery it at our national hub".

Pretty rubbish, eh ?

Over-charged, and then under-served ....

I won't be buying from ABD again.

Update: ABD responded, and acknowledged my complaints relating to the purchase process and explaing the delivery delay which I accept was out of their hands. They have issued compensation which I think is very fair of them. I feel they have responded appropriately and 'done the right thing', so I am happy to close this, and will most likely buy from them again ;-)

Well what can I say about this company but fantastic!! I ordered a set of led h11 bulbs, they arrived quickly, so tried to fit them when I got home but they didn't fit due to the housing off the bulb holder within the headlight being too small, so sent an email to ABD and got a response quickly, solved the issue by sending out a different brand off bulb, too which they arrived today and fitted just now, great to say they fit and are fantastic outcome, Asha and the team at ABD are fantastic, have purchased previously from the company before these bulbs and will certainly order again and recommend them to friends and family. 5***

Really knowledgeable ordered a set of hid and ordered the wrong bulb holders an email with pictures sent then correct ones were sent via a link and arrived the next day this is why I only use auto bulbs direct

Autobulbs Direct were a great company to deal with. I had a few issues with the fitting of the products purchased. ABD were helpful all the way through the process and made the refund simple and straightforward. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to upgrade their dull halogen systems on their car. A+
