AVAAZ ist geradezu lächerlich! Offensichtlich nur eine Datensammlung für e-mails.

Projekte scheitern nur an wenigen Stimmen, wenn Stimmzahl erreicht, wird plötzlich noch einmal 50 Prozent mehr angesetzt, manche Projekte verschwinden einfach ganz oder werden durch andere ersetzt! Eine Schande und Beleidigung den Opfern und den Stimm-Gebern gegenüber!

J'ai fait un don ponctuel il y a quelques mois et m'aperçois que Avaaz prélève cette somme depuis sans mon autorisation. Ils m'expliquent que j'ai dû activer Easy donate, un système qui leur permet de se servir de mes coordonnées bancaires.

Een geweldige manier om burgers te mobiliseren. Ze vragen aandacht voor zaken die anders onderbelicht blijven. Zo wordt het stevige midden een factor met invloed. Ze verbinden mensen wereldwijd met een positieve kijk op het wereldburgerschap.

The jury is in on the global economic/ecological crisis: we need a fundamental global economic upgrade. Avaaz has built a network capable of implementing such a solution, such as detailed at reconomy dot net, but instead only seeks contributions to fund incremental change. It uses a portion of these contributions to fund its organization's survival within the broken economy, trapping itself in the same amber for future archaeologists to dissect. But we, the living, the people, can see the way forward, and so we know that history's verdict is likely to be that Avaaz had the network of support to transform the economy to end poverty and hunger, and to restore the health of the world, and that there has been adequate dissemination of the actual solution being a fundamental economic upgrade, and so Avaaz is not only a part of the problem but is increasingly diverting support away from the solution, for which it offers zero support.

Es handelt sich um eine typische NGO mit einer woke Agenda. Informationen zur Finanzierung gibt es nicht nachvollziehbar. Die Hintermänner sind unbekannt

Was signed up to a petition without consent. Presumably, someone just added my email to the petition and they have no checks to confirm by email, so was afterwards sent loads of spam about other petitions etc. The organisation seems legitimate, far as I can tell, and support important causes, but I will not support something that doesn't check if people are legitimately signing up or not.

I fully support these genuine petitions, led by a group of committed individuals with no financial gain, organised purely for the benefit of humanity.

Attention à cette bande de voleurs qui récupère votre RIB je ne sais comment et qui essaie de prélever des sommes sur votre compte, ils ont essayé de me prélever 150 €, mais n'ont pas réussi

I thought i was making a one off donation, it seems it was a weekly/monthly deal, i see this has happened to a lot of other people, it's set up that you don't get to review what your paying it just pops up after you make your donation that they have taken the first month out of my account, i sent an e mail to them explaining it was not correct what they did, the answer was thank you for your contribution and they could see i had complained to my bank but no mention of a reimbursement, if that's the way they work there should be some government control over the way they collect donations ..

Belangrijke manier om als burger je stem te laten horen. Je kiest zelf welke onderwerpen je belangrijk genoeg vindt om mails over te ontvangen en om te onderschrijven. Hoewel ze vaak op de dringendheid van een kwestie wijzen (wat meestal ook klopt), voel ik me steeds vrij om al dan niet te tekenen. Er wordt ook altijd verwezen naar relevante artikels in betrouwbare nieuwsbronnen.
De lage scores komen helaas van een aantal '1'-stemmers die, als ik ze lees, geen inhoudelijke argumenten hebben, eerder uit (extreem) rechtse hoek lijken te komen en het blijkbaar moeilijk kunnen verdragen dat iemand er anders over denkt dan zijzelf.

I have signed many of their petitions and also donated money from time to time. I have never experienced any problems with unauthorized withdrawals from my account. I’m not being spammed with emails either. So I don’t understand why so many people here report the opposite experience. Some claim it is a left-wing or even Marxist organization – well, no one is forcing you to sign the petitions if you don’t agree with them.

Avaaz a le don pour mobiliser les masses, lorsque l'urgence est présente dans le monde entier.
Un grand merci pour ce que vous faites, en tant qu'une des plus grande plateforme de pétitions et de dons au monde.
Je reste sur trois étoiles, car vos montants de dons restent trop élevés et que la demande de soutien par semaine est floue jusqu'à ce qu'on accepte : 4€ toutes les 4 semaines = 16€ par mois, ce qui n'est précisé qu'une fois l'accord donné.
J'ai réduit mon don au minimum en passant par une devise étrangère, pour un don de 1,74€ par mois, car l'impact d'Avaaz est réel aujourd'hui et que je continue d'appuyer qu'Avaaz se doit d'être un exemple de transparence.

woke up this morning to a withdrawal on my bank account from Avaaz that I NEVER authorized. it was also set as a monthly direct debit.
I'm all for helping good causes and organizations BUT stealing our bank accounts info and our money without our consent?

Keine Kontaktmöglichkeit!
Ich habe vergeblich meine Spende zu stornieren versucht. Es gibt nirgends eine Möglichkeit in Kontakt zu treten. Mails werden nicht beantwortet. Der angebliche rosa "Kontakt Button" ist nirgends zu finden. Das ist extrem unseriös.
Es bleibt mir nichts übrig, als über meine Bank die Abbuchung für den Dauerauftrag zu stornieren.
