One month of waiting but the jacket is nice!

J'ai reçu mon blouson en cuir mouton retourné ce matin. J'en attendais beaucoup car sur le site les photos étaient très belles et franchement je ne suis pas déçu du tout bien au contraire ce blouson dépasse toutes mes attentes, il est déjà super beau, très epais et très chaud, la fourrure de mouton est douce épaisse et chaude et sa couleur miel est magnifique. Le prix est plus que raisonnable sur beaucoup d'autres sites internet et beaucoup de magasins un blouson de la même qualité voir d'une qualité inférieure c'est le double. Un grand merci à Morten qyi m'a très bien conseillé pour la taille et le choix car j'hésitais entre 3 différents blousons, mais de toute façon quel que soit mon choix je n'aurais pas été déçu. Je mets aussi 5 etoiles pour la livraison très rapide.

The quality and fit of this jacket is excellent. I ordered the B-3A bomber jacket, and am very pleased. I’m also happy that I didn’t have to pay any duty tax or extra fees. It took a little while to get here, but it was well worth the wait. Btw, my jacket and the duty declaration form indicate it was manufactured in China, not Pakistan.

I purchased a Cossack horsehide jacket from Morten a few months ago. It's a very robust jacket; the leather is pretty much blemish free, the stitching is solid and the lining has a thick, quality feel about it.

On me it's a very boxy fit, but with the side straps pulled in as far as they go it's a good enough fit even if it's still a little tight across the shoulders yet. YMMV of course; that's normally the case for me unless I get something tailored.

The measurements given in the table are correct and a comparison with jackets I already had allowed me to pick a size. Check your own measurements carefully - it's time well spent.

Horsehide is thicker and heavier than other leathers, so takes a little longer to break the jacket in and mine is still improving. I don't think I'll live long enough to wear this jacket out, even if I live past one hundred.

Just received my B-3A jacket from Avileather.com...My goodness it's superb! I wanted a flight jacket with inside pockets so its more user friendly day to day and the B-3A is perfect. The leather is soft and the shearling is wonderful, very snug! I looked at the sizing guide on the website and went for a size 40 which is just right for me. I am 5'9 and around 11.5 stone and usually go for a 38 in jackets. Do use the sizing guide as the sizing is different for flight jackets as they tend to run smaller. It looks better than the pictures on the site, I honestly don't think you can do better. I am not interested in the more expensive offerings from Eastman or Aero as they are period correct, so nowhere to store your phone. I love it and will order from Avileather again when funds allow. Thank you so much!

Nach dieser Jacke hab ich lange gesucht, bis ich auf Avi-Leather gestossen bin. War erst ein bischen skeptisch, da ich den Preis für die Jacke doch sehr günstig fand, hab dann doch bestellt, und siehe da, meine neue Lieblingsjacke ist jetzt da. Schöne Lederauswahl und gut verarbeitet, bei meiner Größe, 1.80m/65kg, sitzt die Jacke perfekt. Einen dicken Pulli bringt man dann nicht mehr drunter, sollte man also eine Größe höher bestellen, wenn man das will.Das Leder ist etwas leichter bzw. dünner als zum Beispiel eine Pferdelederjacke von Aeroleather,aber das fand ich grade sehr angenehm.Mit der Lieferung gab`s eine kleine Verzögerung, aber im Kontakt mit Morten Andreasen von Avi war das alles kein Problem. Zusammengefasst also: schöne, sehr bequeme Jacke, gut verarbeitet und wird auch schön altern, denk ich. Empfehlenswert! Danke! Ralph Hartan

I ordered two jackets: G1, and Perry A2 horsehide. Morten patiently suggested the sizes and models before ordering. (the sizes DO varies among models)
As the result, both jackets fit me perfectly!
The jackets are made with high end materials and crafted well. The horsehide is soft surprisingly (I have a schott cowhide jacket, which is much stiffer than this one).
The only improvement I suggest is: add a cardboard box for shipping. One jacket has a small pea sized scratch on the surface most likely due to impact with a blunt object during shipping (the packaging material are only plastic and clothes bags). I used leather touch up paint to fixed it, not big deal.

I have just bought my second jacket from AVI Leather and it is as good as the first. A fantastic product for the price and fantastic service from Morten. When I buy my next leather jacket AVI LEather will definitely be my first choice. Thanks Morten

Bought the RAF flying jacket and I'm really pleased. Well made, good quality fleece. Morten advised me on sizes, and I got a 42 even though I have a 43.5 chest. It fits beautifully with room for a sweater underneath. Delivery from Denmark to the UK was very quick.

The Raf Irvin is simply tremendous value for this top quality jacket , service and sizing assistance a credit to this company

After my great experience with Avileathers M422a i didnt have to think long when it was time for another A2. The other one is an Eastman leather Roughwear 1401p its abour 25 years old and looking fantastically worn.. i love the looks, my wife not so much.. so time for a newer looking A2. I decided on a seal brown version since i already own a russet one. I mailed Morten with the size of the m422a, the size of the eastman and my own length and weight. Same day i received the advice to go with a size 48.. mind you my eastman is a 42 long, so carefull with sizing.
Within a week i had my jacket.. i am very impressed with the detail but i cannot judge how accurate everything is compared to a real ww2 one.. i doubt the guys who drove b17s and p51s gavea hoot.
I am also very impressed with the quality and thickness of the leather. I watched a youtube videoreview about an avi horsehide and it seemed a bit on the thin side. Mine seems to be perfect.

My experience as a Avileather's customer was absolutely perfect in every details. First of all, their customer service is very helpful, professional and friendly. The announced delivery times were met so it's appreciated 👍 Their jacket are exceptionally well made with great quality leather and impeccable construction and with a so pleasant characteristic smell.
The first jacket ordered (B-3) had sleeves a bit too long to me so they kindly accepted the return of the jacket in order to create a new one with my own measurements. (I didn't know I could do so) I'm really happy I did this as my new jacket is absolutely perfect for me! It's honestly hard to take it off as it's so comfortable! It's totally worth the waiting time (about 2 or 3 weeks) I highly recommend Avi leather to everyone who's looking for a high quality, well made and comfortable WW2 inspired pilot jacket at honest and decent price! Absolutely insane quality/price ratio!

This is my favorite jacket by far.
Let's be real, i bought this jacket because i played Resident Evil 4 Remake and the hero has the same jacket.
This is not my type of "clothing", im more kind of "sartorial", italian and english suits, tie, for working and for my own pleasures.

So i bought this jacket for Christmas, and this is my favorite jacket.
Since the 12th of December 2024, i wore it everyday, even if its raining. My coworkers laughed the first, from wearing my three pieces suits to this jacket they asked "where i parked my Spitfire", and after many of the men asked me where i bought it, and they asked to try it for knowing the fit.
Its an amazing jacket and my wife loves it too.
(We were lucky in Paris, it had snowed for about a week, and i was lucky enough to wore it under the snow. Even my ThruDark parka don't feel that warm.)
