Delayed Order, No Processing Update, and Poor Customer Support

Placed an order with Babyshop UAE with a committed delivery date of May 5, 2026, but as of May 11 the order status still remains “Placed / Not Processed.”

Despite registering multiple complaints with customer support, there was no proper update, dispatch confirmation, or resolution provided. Due to the lack of response and delay, I had to escalate the matter to DET Consumer Protection UAE and received an official complaint reference(on going).

Very disappointed with the order handling and customer service experience. Customers at minimum deserve transparent communication and accurate delivery commitments.

Horrible experience. Ordered a bed 2 weeks ago. Was meant to be delivered last week - 0 contact. Called today and asked for refund. Instead of cancelling the order and refunding me they started saying they can’t do it in their system. My money is gone and customer experience is absolutely horrible. Avoid at all cost, there are lots of better baby products stores in UAE.

I visited the website specifically to buy a scooter for my daughter. I saw a prominent banner offering a discount of up to 20% (capped at 75 AED) if I downloaded the mobile app.

Based on this offer, I downloaded the app to complete the purchase, only to be surprised that the discount code did not work. It turns out the offer is restricted to "select items" only, but this key limitation was not mentioned clearly on the banner before I went through the trouble of downloading the app.

This was a frustrating waste of time. Promotions should be transparent, and exclusions regarding "select items" should be stated upfront so customers know what to expect. I have saved screenshots of the banner and the error message as evidence of this misleading experience.

We ordered from Babyshop in the amount of $179; currently our order is being held with UPS who is claiming we owe $149 in tariffs for it. Babyshop never mentioned at the time of purchase that there may be additional costs or that tariffs were not factored in. International buyers, do not shop here.

Absolutely useless customer support. I wrote 3 emails to change delivery address and called 4 times, still order delivered to old address and I haven't received yet. No one responded to my emails even once. On the call everyone is polite and saying sorry, but no action were done
