I came in to the store after spending 168 pound online
As my daughter is autistic I realised one of my jumpers was different from the other one which was why I wanted a refund on it .my daughter wouldn’t wear it. I took it back. To be told they don’t sell those any more they have not stocked them for at least 2 years and maybe I could have kept it 2 years and just wanted a different jumper which baffled me. He swapped it I only did the click and collect the day before. If they looked at the cctv they could see who packed it and gave me that jumper in the first place. I left pretty up set. Then I’d had another jumper with me also with no sleeves my daughter didn’t like as she don’t like her arms being seen. I asked this to be refunded. He took the jumper and my invoice and said I’d have the money in my account the next day. Which is today that’s Sunday 30 Aug I found strange him saying this being Sunday then Monday being a bank holiday I followed up with a email which wasn’t answered. I’ve been coming to this shop for years. Was quite taken back. I hope for my refund as I wasn’t given a recite for my item just had my invoice which the shop have for my refund . Very unfortunate and not what I’d expect

If I could give no stars I would. Save for the young girl who served me there is nothing positive to say about this shop from the hour and 10 minute wait to get into the shop, to prices that increased in an hour and so differed from what they show on line to what you actually pay in person, to the absolute rudeness of the owner who when informed of the difference in prices thought it appropriate to be extremely disrespectful and rude. As he commented there are other uniform suppliers (which I didn't know about) I suggest people explore and go somewhere else to get their children's stuff. BTW while waiting in line heard several people comment that it's extortionate, having now experienced the it for myself, definitely agree suitcase suitcase

Excellent customer service from Andreea Bailwood uniform shop, Lewisham. I imagined the experience would be tedious and long but Andreea was quick, polite, professional and cheerful. She had only been working there a week but she's a natural and made our day. Thanks and also to the Bailwood team.

Exceptional customer service from start to finish. I attended Bailwood today to purchase a full school uniform for my daughter. Myself and my daughter were welcomed pleasantly by the staff.

My daughter is normally very shy but Rehma made her feel very comfortable and reassured. School uniform shopping can be very stressful, but today was a stress free experience.

Thank you to Bailwood and Rehma for a great & easy shopping experience for us today. We will be back soon for sure.

This company was okay on my first purchase years ago but this year it has been a complete nightmare. I purchased more than one of the same item and they were not of the same quality. They have very poor customer service. They are very rude, shout at you, a younger male there serves you with a joint (cannabis) in his ear, they resell worn and defective items going by my conversation with them which is extremely unhygienic especially at a time like now with Covid going around, they hang up on you. Overall they aren’t professional at all.

Tired of waiting 3 weeks for my order to be processed at Whitehall I contacted the school out of desperation to let them know what was happening. To my surprise they told me that the business next door, Bailwood, is also their supplier. I called them, they asked me to order online and collect the next day from the store. This was at 530 pm, unbelievable! I have requested a full refund from Whitehall due to their incompetence. They never answer their calls, they have a voicemail that always says it's full. They don't reply emails which means they don't update their customers at all. Bailwood opens from 9 am to 6 pm, Whitehall opens from 10 am to 3 pm. Now go and compare their websites, it says it all. Whitehalllacks organisation and professionalism.

I would advice you check whether Bailwood has what you need and if you have already made the mistake to go with Whitehall, cancel your order, request a refund and order again with Bailwood, they will process your order and contact you in a matter of hours.
