"I took my puppy to Banfield Veterinary…

"I took my puppy to Banfield Veterinary Hospital on March 14th, 2023 located at Watchung NJ for his rabies vaccine and worming. When I called to make the appointment, I was told it would take a maximum of two hours. However, when I dropped off my puppy at 9:10am and returned two hours later, I was informed that he would not be ready until 5 pm - almost 8 hours later. I am extremely disappointed with the quality of service provided by the veterinary and the front receptionists. Not only were they rude, unprofessional, and arrogant, but they were also unable to keep to their schedule. Despite never being offered a 30-minute appointment, I never saw the veterinarian, and both receptionists were clueless and unable to provide relevant information. I would give this place zero stars if I could and will not be recommending it to anyone in need of veterinary services."

We have been Banfield customers for 20 years!!

We have been Banfield customers for almost 20 years and 4 pets. Recently we had a bad experience when Banfield refused to see our pet who was suffering an emergency, not once but twice. I had to refuse to leave in order to get past the "gatekeeper" and have a Vet come out. I called corporate and told them to cancel our Wellness plans. For TWO months they kept charging us. After numerous phone calls with a manager at the local office, we were told they would reimburse us. Then NOTHING!! When I tried to call the manager I was told he was out on Maturnity Leave. I told them that was a lie becasue his was out on leave the previous month. They then tried to tell me he didn't work there. COME ON!!! I called corporate AGAIN and told them I demanding my refund and had called the bank to stop all payments. They told me they had no record of any of my calls and no refund was due. This company has gone SOOOOO downhill. I will never trust them again to take care of our pets.

Never again

Thank God I didn’t get the opportunity to actually bring my pet in, because who knows what would’ve happened to him. I had a new pet appointment with them that I made 2 weeks prior and the day before I get a call from Lakeisha to confirm an appointment with a different time I had made it, told her it wasn’t possible for me to go at the time, I had my appointment for 8am after telling me a few times that oh thats just the online appointment time you chose not the real appointment time. What the he k does that mean! I even have an email confirmation! So she proceeds to put “Dr. Mosquera” on the line to tell me that the online appointment is just a suggestion but the actual time would be later. I explained to both of these employees that I made an early appointment because I also have a job and they both said that there isn’t anyone even there at 8am. So why the heck did you give me an appointment for 8am!! Ridiculous
