Not impressed with customer service
My mom and I are both full figured and are having a very hard time finding bras that fit. We gave Bare Necessities a try. First tried to do an exchange and was told we would be refunded for the full amount plus the shipping amount. We had to call to get the shipping price returned, Jasique first fought with us about it saying we were not told the shipping charge was going to be returned. My mom and I had the phone on speaker, and my mom specifically asked if we'd be refunded the shipping and we were told yes, since we were placing a brand new order for almost the same amount. I don't know what phone call Jasique listened to, but unfortunately for Bare Necessities we will not be back now. The new order came and unfortunately we were not happy with those bras either. Jasique did refund us for that second shipping cost also, which is appreciated, but I shouldn't have had to get firm and almost mean to get the return for shipping from the first order. Had this interaction gone better we would have tried to order different styles again, until we found ones that fit properly. We will order directly from the bra companies from now on, as most seem to offer free returns also. Wish this had gone better but for us it did not.
Used to be an amazing company
Used to be an amazing company. This year they are terrible. Ordered in march and still waiting for a portion of that order, that was not on back order, then my 4/1 order hasnât shipped yet and itâs 4/10, but they sure jerk the money out same day. Customer sercvice is all AI so no help to be had.
Rewards non refundable
Iâm absolutely shocked at how Bare Necessities handles points. I had 9,000 pointsâ$30 offâand added bras to my cart. I redeemed the points, then changed my mind before completing the purchase. Youâd think unused points would be returned, right? Wrong. They said once points are redeemed, thatâs itâeven if I never placed the order.
That is completely unethical and unfair. I could understand if points couldnât be redeemed after a purchaseâbut I didnât even buy anything! I spend a lot of money here, and I expect ethical treatment in return. Losing points like this over a change of mind is wrong on every level.
I will leave a bad review and report this to the Better Business Bureau. If you want loyal customers, treat them fairly and ethically. I love your products, but I will take my money elsewhere because this is not how a business should treat customers.
This isnât me trying to take advantageâitâs me changing my mind, and I got completely screwed over.

Slow shipping, poor customer support

First order, awesome. Second order, they accepted the order, have already sent marketing emails to get me to purchase more, but they haven't shipped my order after 11 days. I chatted into customer support today and find out it's going to be another 3-4 weeks before they ship it due to a warehouse transition. So I asked them to cancel the order and they refused. Note that they've already completely charged (not just authorized) my credit card. Unacceptable. The only thing I can do about it is leave a bad review, and I guess go without new bras for another month or more.

Never got my swim top. Ordered it and said it would be here in a week, called bc there was no shipping email, it was never sent, supposedly on back order! But when I made the order and paid they said it was in stock, called and the lady was short and rude, wonât buy off their site again
Horrendous Service
On February 13, 2026, I placed an online order with Bare Necessities for several items. Based on their sizing guidelines, I ordered two bras. Unfortunately, these items did not fit. I have initiated two exchanges, and I have yet to receive the final merchandise. My package has been held at the warehouse for over a week. I have requested to cancel the order, but this request has been denied. Despite multiple attempts to seek assistance, I have not received adequate support. At this time, I am formally requesting a full refund.

Don't, Just Don't!
Don't think like I did - that you will be an exception and things will go smoothly. The Wacoal bra that I ordered was defective. The underwire was poking into the side of my breast. When I called Customer Service, the rep said that it was because I needed a bigger cup size, so I ordered a bigger cup size. It came, and the wire was still poking into my breast. At this point, I decided to carefully examine both bras. I saw that the underwire stopped a good inch away from the seam cushion. I called Customer Service again to inform them of this fact. The rep didn't care. She spoke down to me and said that the bra is probably the wrong fit for me - not true! She also said that I could not return the one that I had worn that had caused bruising on the sides of my breasts, so basically this is what my hard-earned money bought from Bare Necessities. Do not order from them, or get pulled into their facade of finding the right fit, and easy returns. It is anything but this. Only order is you want to lose your money if the bra is defective, and deal with impatient reps with snooty attitudes.

Online purchase nightmare. Shop app changed my info and once you purchase- you cannot alter anything or cancel. I immedately contacted company for help and they said only thing I could do is reach out to shipping company. Which in turn say they cant alter or do anything. So I am out 200$. Didnt even get to try their products.
Multiple shipping fees, item not specified as non-returnable on product page
They sent things from different warehouses, then made me pay for 2 separate shipping fees to return the items. One item was "not eligible for return" although it was not marked as such on the product page.
Difficult customer service
I placed an order for a swimsuit top and bottom. Bare Necessities canceled the bottom without giving me the option to also cancel the top. Customer service said I would need to wait for the top to arrive and then return it. After receiving the top, I tried to return it, but now they say it is not returnable. What a scam!
Updated on 12/29/25 - I have been given a full refund after sending another email to customer service. I guess persistence pays.
Horrible business
I would give them zero stars if I could. I had two orders in for black Friday and they just cancelled both today. Had the same issue with the promotion items that they took off too. Thankfully I looked at my refund because they were still charging me for shipping and tax for both orders they cancelled. They tried saying it was refunded until I screenshot the $7.48 still being charged and then they refunded that amount. This was my first time ordering from them but never again. I would stay far away and wished I looked at reviews beforehand!
They will let you add and order a promoâŠ
They allow you to add and order a promotional item, but only cancel the promotional item after shipping the rest of the order because your order didnât meet the requirements. This practice should prevent you from adding it, just like every other website. It appears to be unethical business practices.

I wish I could give No stars! First I was promised free socks and a blanket with my order, so the next day I see that they removed the free blanket from my order and only sent out 3 of my items, ok I got 3 items and days go by I still never received the rest so I emailed multiple times and didnât get anything so I called and I got a rude woman who barely spoke English and she told me that the rest of my items were out of stock including the free socks I was supposed to receive as well.. I didnât get an apology or anything to make this right.. ! So basically if I hadnât called then I would still be waiting on my other items! I wouldnât recommend this site to anybody. I am thrilled to be able to get my bras at a sale price! And, Iâm loving the beautiful colors. They make me happy and not so depressed over the horrific appearance of my old, saggy, stretched out breasts! ð
I just recently began wearing the Wacoal bra after a rapid weight loss, which made it impossible to find a properly fitting bra in department stores. I am amazed at the comfort and support the bra gives me, and with underwire- something I couldnât stand even as a slim, young adult. Iâve had occasions to wear the bra 12-14 hours on very busy days, and, yet, did not come in the house whipping that bra off, nearly at the door, like I used too!
But, best of all was the kind, helpful service of Angela. She was so patient, answering my many questions with such helpful information and often doing research or making inquiries in order to give me accurate, thorough answers. She spent, literally, hours with me! Angela also guided me in getting available discounts and making choices wisely so that I spent my money most efficiently. Angela showed genuine care and respect for the health issues Iâve had, which caused the weight loss that necessitated the purchase of an entire new wardrobe. She understood my need to get the best bargains and the âbiggest bang for my bucksâ (my husband said âfor my boobs!â ð)
I just want you to know that my experience with Angela and Bare Necessities has been such a blessing for me. My spirits are lighter and my holidays brighter because of it. Thank you so much.

Rude Customer Service and false advertising of sizing. I have purchased her before and had no issues with the bra sizing. Bras recently purchased were way off in sizing. Called to exchange and was told the items were final sale, which was not stated on the website when I purchased them, nor the email confirmation. I will NEVER make another purchase from this company again!
I ordered a bathing suit with a builtâŠ
I ordered a bathing suit with a built in bra. I wore it less than 6 times and the wire came through the fabric. Upon contacting the company, they said it is more than 30 days and they offered me no return or replacement but 10% off my next purchase. Why would I buy another defective product. Oh and fyi, I had to get a larger bra size and the overall size of the suit was larger and gaps in the ass.

I love this company. It is so difficult to find bras at local retailers that fit my shape and size. Necessities has always been my go to since I found them scrolling on Facebook. I have purchased at least 10 items from them throughout a period of several years and the items have always arrived on time. I have not had to return anything yet, so Iâm not sure how the experience is with the return process. In any case Iâm so grateful for this company to offer a nice variety of products in larger sizes. ᅩ
