Absolutely amazing, our instructor Emma was amazing and she was so nice and made it so much easier for us to understand!!

We took part in canoeing over the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. This adventure was so well organised with superb preparation from the outset many weeks before the day, brilliant directions and then well organised parking at our meeting point. Carl was our guide and he made the day so much fun and completely safe putting us all at ease ready to canoe across the aqueduct.
What an amazing afternoon! Top marks to all involved... a great company providimg truly memorable experiences. Llangollen was just gorgeous and the aqueduct something else. Well done 👏🏻

Just back from an amazing afternoon canoeing over the aqueduct. Carl was a brilliant instructor, knowledgable, engaging and funny and really made sure we got the most out of our adventure. 5 stars is Not enough cos This was just ACE ☺️

We have done 2 adventures, canoeing over aqueduct and white water rafting, highly recommend both and this company. They look after you, make sure you have fun and you won’t be disappointed. We had instructor Harry both times and he was brilliant

The aqueduct experience was absolutely amazing! I was a little apprensive and wasn't sure what to expect, but Olivia our guide was amazing. chatting to all the group and making sure everyone was ok. it was so chilling apart from the heat !
The only issue was the directions the PIN we were given took us wrong, but they were only a phone call way and soon sorted us. We would definitely recommend and would do it all again.

Fantastic few hours

​We booked a river tubing trip with Bearded Man Adventures on the River Dee for my girlfriend’s birthday, and it was the highlight of our trip!
​Our guides, Finn and Sol, were absolutely amazing. They were professional, great fun, and made sure we all felt safe while having a blast on the river. They really helped make the day extra special for her. If you’re looking for a brilliant, high-energy experience in Llangollen, I couldn't recommend them enough. We loved every minute!

We canoed across the aqueduct with Steve S. He was funny and informative which made important things like safety memorable. As paddle boarders he made us confident that we had transferable skills. Would 100% recommend.

Had a brilliant day on the river for my stag do. Nathan and Becky were great instructors, full of local kmowledge and made sure we all had a good time. Would defo recommend and will be coming again.

Joe was a great instructor with a great sense of humour, made our canoeing experience very enjoyable would use again without hesitation

A fantastic, fun and brilliantly handled trip on the white water of the river Dee

I made a last minute booking to canoe the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct with a small group of friends in January and despite the pouring rain it was fantastic. Booking process was easy, despite being made on the day, and Harry, our guide was great, giving us a short but informative briefing before we headed to the water. He got us fully in control of our boats in no time with clear instruction and tips along the way. 10/10 rainy day adventure.

We had an amazing adventure canoeing over the aqueduct with Bearded Man Adventures! Our guide Joe was absolutely brilliant, his light-hearted humour and easygoing nature made the whole experience even more enjoyable. He kept everyone relaxed, laughing, and confident throughout, which really added to the day.

Couldn’t recommend this enough, thank you, Joe, for making it such a memorable experience!

What a great day of fun for the family.
We booked the white water rafting in Llangollen and had a great day. The people were so incredibly friendly, funny and made the whole activity a joy. It was easy to get their site and to get to the start of the whitewater rafting on the river Dee. It was a lot of fun and we enjoyed the tip over and float in the river. Lots of fun memories made!
