I love Bear Pile
As a collector, I was thrilled to find the Bear Pile online shop.
I love to follow artists and enjoy receiving notification emails when they place a new piece up for sale.
I am very impressed with being able to see when a piece was offered for sale and also when it was sold on Bear Pile.
Communication from each of the sellers I asked extra info from was great and timely.
I fully trust this online shop and today I purchased my first piece to add to my collection ☺️

This will be my first order.. I can’t wait to receive my puppy 🐶 After I receive this little girl I plan to buy many more.. I belong to puppy groups accros the world 🌍 and I plan on giving these animals as gifts 🎁

The best part about being a buyer and seller on both reborns.com and bearpile, is that Dave is very active with answering and helping on the message board. These sites are legit and only allow authentic products. I've been a member for years and am thankful to be a member of this community of sites. This is the most genuine and positive platform I have been on so far!

My 1st experience wit ASBears & Bear Pile was great
Anika of ASBears is a very talented artist. She creates beautiful little animals (bear & kittens, maybe others) I bought a mohair bear. She always answered my questions quickly. Very pleased with my 1st time experience. Shipping was fair and good. My bear shipped June 2nd from Germany/ arrived June 15th in FL US. Communication with Bear Pile was great. Payment went through easily & got informative emails from Bear Pile & Anika regarding payment & shipping.

I saw something online that I was interested it and contacted the seller. The seller/artist was so amazing and friendly to converse with. They were also so prompt in responding. I never heard of Bear Pile, however based on my experience today, I will continue to use it to see if it has anything that I am looking for!!!!

Wonderful, smooth checkout process! Buying on Bear Pile is a great experience!
My only recommendation is to allow orphans (secondhand items) to be posted and displayed in newly listed without paying for a membership. Some collectors don't sell frequently enough to pay for memberships. Unfortunately, there is no visibility for listings by sellers without memberships making it nearly impossible to sell items.

Thanks for your review and for using our service. Unfortunately, if we gave our premium service away to free to everyone we then would not have a business and it would be impossible to keep Bear Pile operating since it costs money to run the website and pay for administration and new development, etc.
We do offer a free tier that has all the features of the paid tier minus the advertising part. If you can drive traffic to your private shop on Bear Pile you can still sell for free (no fees or commissions). So that might something to consider if you can't justify spending for a paid membership. We do realize that most people can't drive traffic to their shop page so that is why most people pay for a premium membership which then grants you access to the 5000+ people a day who visit Bear Pile to buy bears.

Die Website ist sehr gut strukturiert und logisch aufgebaut. Besonders gut finde ich dass der Betreiber direkt ansprechbar ist. Die Zahlungsmethoden sind individuell von den Künstlern bestimmbar, was ich persönlich sehr gut finde.

Anna Volkova is a wonderful person. She makes wonderful teddy bears that she stages in an artistic way. She takes amazing photographs. She generally uses natural materials. In short, she is fantastic.

Bear pile helps sellers abuse their buyers
I've had a seller blaming me and sending me nasty emails for a month, I finally left her a one star review and bearpile just went in and changed it for five star. When I stood up to his behavior by leaving feedback he sent this to the seller and copied me, adding bullying and intimidation, a touch of harassment and gaslighting, with clearly stated intent to slander and/or libel my name to impact my ability to buy from artists in the future.

As the admin of the Bear Pile we strive to provide a safe marketplace for both buyers and sellers. We also act as a neutral third party when disputes arise.
After investigating this unfortunate situation we determined the buyer to be abusing our feedback system by leaving multiple (six in total) unwarranted negative feedbacks against the seller to maximize harm to the sellers reputation for something the buyer openly admits was not the sellers fault. This was also after the seller refunded her 100% even though the buyer never bought insurance and parcel tracking shows the package as being delivered to the buyers home.
The multiple negative feedbacks were reduced to a single feedback, edited to concisely to state the facts, and was made positive because no seller who does everything right (ships quickly, can prove the package was delivered, and goes above and beyond by refunding the buyer) deserves a negative rating.
After this change was made the buyer became irate and starting leaving negative feedbacks for us on several review sites. At this point we decided it was best to end our business relationship with the buyer by closing their account and alerting our sellers about what happened so they could potentially protect themselves if the buyer were to buy from them elsewhere.
