Please don't buy from this company. I bought a mattress from this company and asked for a refund, over two months now and no response, this is the second time I have sent a review and nothing has changed, DONT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY, LET'S GET THEM SHUT DOWN ,THEY ARE TAKING PEOPLES MONEY UNFAIRLY, I DON'T BELIEVE I WILL GET MY REFUND SO I'M STUCKED WITH A MATTRESS WHICH IS NO GOOD TO ME ,AND I'M A PENSIONER 😪😪😪

I ordered a bed and the website stated that it would be delivered within 10 days. After 12 days I contacted the company to ask where it was and I was told it was out of stock but would be back in stock the following week and would be delivered then.

The next day I got an email saying it was out of stock and not being delivered and I should choose another item.

I did not want another item so requested a refund.

After multiple chases and a number of weeks later, I finally got the refund.

I am very disappointed that I had to contact Bedworld to find out where the bed was, they made no effort to tell me the bed was not coming, even though they must have known it was not going to be delivered.
I don't think they should have taken the money out of my account if the item was not in stock.
I would not recommend this company

Delivery arrived on time, a week after I ordered it. I was called 30 minutes beforehand. It was a small double ottoman bed with mattress and quite heavy. Luckily I had my son to help as the bed didn’t come further than the doorstep. When I asked the chap if he could help my son, he said he wasn’t allowed to come in. We managed to get it upstairs. It was well packaged and undamaged. Assembly would have been easier with instructions but we managed in the end. The bed is comfy if a little firmer than I expected. I ordered a medium. I received flat slider feet instead of the casters I opted for, but they are fine and the bed is movable. Having bought another bed from dreams the previous month, I was much happier with them. Two friendly drivers who assembled the bed in the room for me. However bedworld are cheaper, I probably saved £300 for a similar item.

THE CHELSEA BED COMPANY (aka BEDWORLD!)

I ordered a bed frame (unusually for me, without looking at reviews). Impressed with the smart ‘Chelsea Bed Company’ website I went ahead but having been given a five day delivery window (on the website), I then received an email stating delivery up to twelve days.... I needed this frame quickly... So I called to discuss this and surprised to hear the company was in fact ‘Bedworld!’.... After being on hold for an hour!!, I hung up and decided to look at their reviews.... And then, decided to cancel the order. Did this by email to both companies, three times each as no response. I’ve now been emailed and consistently called to tell me when the frame will be delivered!! In fact today, two calls within five minutes! And then having the caller arguing with me! This company is a awful.....If I don’t get a quick refund, my daughter is a lawyer and she’ll be straight onto them. I’ve now taken my business to ‘The British Bed Company’ and super impressed.... Excellent customer service too..... Bedworld / Chelsea Bed Company... Whatever you like to call yourselves! Get your act together!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I have a very similar story to those reviews already posted, 4 weeks after ordering a bed I have had two delivery dates promised with a 12 hour time slot and on neither day was a bed delivered. I still have not received a refund and will now have to take legal action to reclaim my money. It is appalling that companies such as this are able to continue trading.

I will NEVER order from Bedworld again. This whole experience has been a headache.

I didn't get any instructions with my bed. Therefore the assembly instructions are not clear.

Secondly, the bed was faulty when it arrived. There was a rip at the back of the bed and the twin ottoman bases do not line up properly once fitted.

Finally, there were only 3 bolts provided when I believe there should be one more.

The bed was delivered by just one person which is unacceptable. I live alone in a flat and am unable to lift 3 separate parts of a heavy bed up 2 flights of stairs.

I am extremely dissapointed with the poor customer service I have received from Bedworld and the communication has been appalling and almost non existent. I've been on hold for over 30 minutes on the phone with no answer, no answer to my emails and no answer to Instagram direct messages even when can see that the account is active and currently online!!!

I am requesting a full, free refund from them. I DO NOT recommend Bedworld at all. The only reason why it's not just 1 star is because overall the bed looks pretty - I purchased the Elle Wing floating Ottoman bed

This company is appalling and should be shut down. I ordered a bed and mattress. This was delivered within 10 days, but was the wrong headboard and base unit. I didn't like the quality anyway and requested a collection and refund. It took many many emails and phone calls (noting that you are left on hold for up to 45 minutes and not always able to speak to anyone). The bed was collected within 10 days, but I am still waiting for a refund some 3 weeks later and unable to speak with anyone and now left with no other option than to pursue through the small claims court. Appalling.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE. They are shocking, no customer service, no refund. I am creating a fraud claim today against them as still no bed, no-one to contact unless you want to stay on hold for an hour, then get cut off. Of which i have done many times now. Just so sad that people are still taking peoples money while things are so hard at the moment in this pandemic, tryley upsetting.

The customer service prior to purchase was really good! As soon as I received the bed it has been awful. The bed was damaged and the packaging was filthy! I immediately emailed for a return and the communication has been so poor. I received a call last weekend saying that the bed would be collected in the week. I stayed home from work all day and they didn’t show up. I emailed them and they are yet to respond. I can see that they are going to try and charge me for delivery too so I will be out of pocket. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Shocking customer service and poor quality products, they delivered a Chesterfield bed in Feb and it was damaged, I requested replacement parts and they too were also damaged so the whole bed frame was returned, and a refund requested. However they do not reply to emails and I don’t have a spare hour to try and get through via telephone, appallingly bad avoid this company! I too will be reporting them

Had to argue for over two months for a refund and only received part refund!! Definitely reporting this organisation and would not recommend.

Going to keep this short, never delivered when they were meant to, and after they did i wish they hadnt, only had one drawer thats fallen to bits in a few weeks.castor wheels break trying to push them in the holes, its just cheapo rubbish. Dont waste your money here. Look at their facebook page its just hundreds of people saying how rubbish the place and products are. I paid £450 + and it was a waste of money, avoid.

Disgraceful company, while people are struggling with employment issues, being furloughed and the rest, a company meant to be providing people with "quality" beds and mattresses are taking the P***s! Stitching coming out of the bed I ordered, bases out of alignment, every single leg was damaged and no instructions for assembly provided. The bed is in its original packaging and awaiting collection. Been on hold for over an hour. Good job credit card was used as I doubt if get a refund for debit.

Zero stars. Ordered a bed on 3 January, 10-12 days delivery! Various emails, with FEW replies AND 46 days later, after requesting a refund, I had no alternative but to raise a dispute with PayPal. Advised Bed World of this and advised them again I wanted a refund. They emailed back and stated as I had raised a dispute with PayPal they would not give me a refund! No alternative but to raise my PayPal dispute to a claim! I RECEIVED MY REFUND! PLEASE PLEASE IF YOU ARE PURCHASING ANYTHING USE PAYPAL OR A CREDIT CARD AND YOU WILL BE FULLY COVERED AND THEY WILL FIGHT FOR YOUR RIGHTS! DO NOT USE A DEBIT CARD!
AWFUL COMPANY AND AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. I FOUND IT IMPOSSIBLE TO CONTACT THEM BY PHONE, AFTER HOLDING ON MANY TIMES FOR UP TO AN HOUR!!! BE AWARE PLEASE!!!

Mattress gives off a pungent smell. Not able to get through on phone again. 2 calls for 1 hour and then it goes to engaged tone. Three and a half hours on Live Support. Eleventh in queue and then nothing.
Bedworld Saga. Do not order from this company. I do not trust them. I ordered a Sultan pocket mattress 4ft on 28th January. Confirmation email said they would contact me 24-48 hours before delivery. As no call I sent an email on Sunday 7th February asking when it would be delivered. No reply. I received an email on 8th Feb with a different order number BW157284 saying they tried to deliver and if I missed delivery again there would be a £39 delivery fee. I sent them 2 emails asking what had gone wrong and why a different order number with no reply. I called on Tuesday 9th and waited an hour on the phone and then got engaged tone. After 2 more calls of 30 mins and 45 mins I got through and the girl said they called me 3 times on Thursday to tell me of delivery but only got the engaged tone. I advised her that it would have gone to my answer machine and there was no message left. I asked her why she did not call me back or email me. She said that they sent the mattress out on the off-chance that I would be in. I also checked 1471 and there were no missed calls on the Thursday. The next week I did get a call that they were delivering on the Monday. We brought the mattress in from the doorstep and it was the wrong one. 4ft.6in memory foam. Driver did not take my word and I got him to check the tape I provided and he took it back out and brought in the correct one saying it is young boys at the warehouse that load the van. He was very pleasant but said he did not have a mask when he had to take the first mattress out. When he left I noticed it was not factory sealed and the 4ft mattress was in packaging with 5ft description, scruffy cardboard at corners and had no leaflet or care instructions. I have been sold a second-hand mattress through false pretenses and feel robbed. It is a shame that they cannot get it right as there are obviously customers who want to do business without any hastle. Do not order from this company, difficult to trust.

I ordered a mattress topper with free zip cover in mid- December. The delivery did not include the cover and bed-world informed me they were no longer available. Wasn't happy, as I expected the cover as advertised. They promised me a £10.00 refund which I accepted although I would have far preferred a cover. Two months later and more than thirty messages to and fro and still no refund. I had to involve eBay and Paypal just to get a measly £10.00! Not a bit impressed with Bed-world.

AWFUL COMPANY. AVOID AT ALL COST.

Poor delivery experience. Damaged bed. Zero customer service. They get away with it as they’re cheap. Do yourselves a favour and just spend a bit extra.

Worst service ever, ordered a bed more than 2 weeks ago, still waiting.

Very disappointing service.
Ordered a bed, booking in the delivery - all good. The driver turned up on the correct day (although late in the day!) but without the actual bed - he had a mattress, a headboard and feet but no bed.
When I spoke with the manager last night he said that they would book me in for a priority delivery and someone would call me.
I've tried to call today, i got through after an hour and someone promised to call me back but no call.
I've now been on hold for over 2 hours with no joy!
