The whole experience from start to finish was great, we walked in and was looking around and Steve came along and asked what we where looking for, we chatted about how we wanted a side ottoman bad fir our spare room, he spoke to us about a front opening one and showed us one in store, witch we went for. Steve was very knowledgeable and very friendly, he did not try and sell us anything that was too expensive, overall was a fantastic experience and we will be going back again when we need a bed

Steve in the store was amazing from the start. Steve explained about the motion bed and how it would help with making a choice as it detects pressure areas and laying positions. After this he showed me a variety of mattresses that he believed would be suitable. He got me to lay on them and then offered me as much time as I needed to go around and try them all out again, giving myself the time to get comfortable etc in my own time. I didn’t feel under any pressure at all and I felt really relaxed with Steve and his help. As I have disabilities it was important that I find the right mattress for myself. Steve also offered to help me with pillow choices as well and again there was no pressure from him. In fact he was very good at upselling and knew just what I wanted. I would highly recommend Steve to anyone.

Delivery day.
The chaps were lovely from the phone call to let me know they were around 30mins away right through the delivery and to exiting. Upon arrival they brought a big bag to put our old mattress in to take away. They both went to take their shoes off but I insisted they didn’t need too. They were very professional and experienced in handling the mattresses in and out especially as it’s a very difficult and tight staircase. It was explained to me that a special fire retardant had been sprayed on the mattress and to leave the window open for a few hours and to keep the door closed. Also to not make the bed until later. They asked me to make sure I was happy with the mattress and the condition of it and how to rotate it and how often. I can't think of any details or information they may of not given me.

I was also kept well informed on stages from ordering to delivery via email message.

Excellent communication from Bensons For Beds throughout the process. Very accurately timed delivery and old mattress removed quickly. The new mattress is everything we hoped for and extremely comfortable and firm.

Everything was great. The team were super helpful and a really positive experience.

Downsides however is, the double mattress, the bag it was in was ripped on the corner, as was the matress. It has some tears in and is black with dirt.

Secondly delivery… i have to get them delivered to my mums house and delivery time would take a lot longer to be delivered to my own home. Making it a nuisance lugging them around. However speaking to the delivery driver he couldn’t fathom why the delivery would take WEEKS longer to come to my home address given that he came from that direction and was literally 2 minutes away from my house ??

Overall my kids love their new beds. However it is frustrating knowing you spend all that money on a new mattress and there is rips and dirt on the corner.

Friendly sales staff with good advice from a long established Company. You are advised to lie on the beds to make sure that you select the correct mattress for yourself. There is a large choice available which can be mixed and matched and a varied selection of headboards.

Josh in the Exeter store was incredibly helpful and patient and gave us lots of help and advice. We found the bed frame and headboard we liked and then bought two mattresses. I suffer from back problems and with his help we settled on one designed to give the best support for my size as well as a softer cosier one for my partner. Personal service and advice you never get if you shop online! Josh normally works in the Taunton store, so we’re really glad he was in Exeter that day!

Sales woman was very knowledgeable. She showed us a variety of mattresses and we tested quite a few. She did not pressurise us. The mattress is great, so comfortable. We chose firm but it is not too firm. Great value for money.

Helpful staff in store, who didn't hover too close.

The staff member Jake was a delight to deal with. He was very informative, respectful and in pushy. We bought both bed base and mattress as he made it so easy!

The staff worked as a team helping each other to find the answers to our queries. They were polite and friendly and it wasn’t any trouble when we changed our minds on colour etc.

When we arrived we were quickly greeted by a salesperson who showed us the products we were interested including all options available on them. The salesperson was friendly as well as helpful. Our visit ended up ordering a super king bed and mattress and we were happy with the price we paid.

We have just had our new Penelope bed delivered today and are very happy with our purchase and the whole experience with Bensons from order to delivery.
The two ladies at the Exeter store were very professional and friendly but not pushy and the advice given very much helped us to decide to order there and then.
The communication from ordering last Thursday up to delivery today has been first class all the way.
The delivery itself was very smooth and Sam and Callum were very friendly and helpful.
This is our second bed from Bensons and we will always look there first in future.

The bed was delivered on time, I had reminders, notifications and a phone call all reassuring that things were going as expected. The men were friendly, polite and efficient.
