able to answer all our questions and then left us to make a decision. He was not at all pushy. He was a real pleasure to deal with. There was a good selection to choose from something for everyone.The offers made it very good value for money..

After using the in house computer/mattress tech they have identified the most beneficial type of mattress for me.

I’d never shopped for a bed before so this was all very new to me! I wanted to visit Bensons for Beds first and then Dreams just to weigh up options etc. I walked into the Truro store with my partner and instantly felt quite overwhelmed with how much option there was. Thankfully, Kevin came over to us and asked us if we’d like some help, which we gratefully accepted.

We explained our situation and preferences, and Kevin got us to lie down on the smart mattress to see what type of mattress would best suit my partner and I, and I was so surprised with how accurate it was to pinpoint our problem areas!

The first mattress we lied on afterwards was our number one choice until I explained that breathability and temperature regulation was important to us as a neurodivergent couple. That wasn’t an issue for Kevin who showed us some different mattresses and we eventually found the one we liked.

Pillows were also a big thing for us as we’ve found it so difficult picking a pillow that is good quality. Kevin was amazing in helping us to find the perfect pillow, he was patient with us, and he was so well organised. I can’t tell you how grateful we were that Kevin did all the work for us in terms of organisation and remembering preferences, as this is something we struggle with.

Next, we found what we thought was our perfect bed frame, one with a built in TV, surround sound, LED lights, and an ottoman! We were buzzing and decided to pay for it all there and then, despite not having plans to buy anything on the day. The purchasing process was well explained and we had loads of choice when it came to delivery. The earliest delivery was for 4th September if I remember rightly, but our preference was to push it back til the 18th to give us more time to organise the space where the new bed would go. I loved that we could choose to have some breathing room between purchase and delivery, makes everything less chaotic for us.

Kevin explained there is a 7 day cooling off period should there be any issues or we change our minds. Adamant we weren’t going to do that, we left the store happy and content and we actually didn’t want to visit Dreams afterwards as we received everything we needed from Bensons.

Later that day, we got home and found that the bed frame we had bought wasn’t actually going to fit in our bedroom - thank god for the cooling off period! I rang the store and Kevin picked up, we explained the situation and went down to the store the next day.

Changing the order wasn’t an issue for Kevin and he took the time to help us find a suitable bed frame and headboard that was going to fit in our bedroom, which was working out to be slightly cheaper than originally anticipated. Kevin explained that the money due to us exceeded the amount that he was able to process in one transaction. He kindly organised a call back for us from the customer service team who would be able to do the refund for us, which wasn’t an issue.

Thinking outside of the box, and wanting to go even further above and beyond, he picked up the phone and spoke with someone, possibly his manager, and asked if there was a workaround for the refund. Kevin was able to process our refund there and then in two separate transactions and still abide by company policies as he explained it didn’t exceed the daily limit, and the money was back in my bank the next day, which we’re super grateful for the quick turnaround.

Kevin was a lovely guy to chat with, it was great getting to know him better, and we all had a laugh. On behalf of my partner and I, we’re really grateful that Kevin approached us soon after we entered the store. Without his knowledge on all of the products and his expertise, I don’t think we would’ve been able to pick suitable products by ourselves that would’ve benefited us in the long run.

Excellent service from the store manager Kevin. My autistic daughter was with me to choose a new mattress and some pillows. He had an excellent manner with her.

Very helpful staff, left us alone whilst checking various types of mattress. When we made our choice the purchasing step was straight forward and transparent, no little extras popped in without our consent.

Sales staff were very informative sadly the delivery side let them down. Paying over £3k you’d expect free or discounted delivery… nope had to pay full whack.
Delivery day arrived. Had a phone call at 830am saying they would be with me between 12 & 1. Delivery arrived 1 1/2 hours late. The traffic is chaos at the moment so delays are inevitable. They guys didn’t use shoe covers nor did they remove their shoes. It’s raining so I’ve now got wet dirty footprints on my carpet. They couldn’t get one box up the stairs so left it for us to deal with. Delivery did let the side down but it wasn’t a total disaster.

Arrived on the date they said, at the time stated. Lovely quality and fully installed by two helpful men. Lots of help with making the order as well.
We were so impressed we have ordered another piece to complement the new furniture.

I was shown all the options but the was no pressure selling and no suggestion that I shouldbuy more than I needed ( it's a spare room bed) A very smooth process. However, the bed hasn't been delivered yet so this is only the experience in the shop

Tried to buy a pillow today. Truro staff were totally disinterested. Asked for the measurements, told me ‘nobody had asked for this before’ so I looked it up online myself. I was also told they were the only ones selling the dunlopillo, however several companies sell this particular pillow. When I saw it online for £95 with free postage I asked if they could give a discount or price match and was told they wouldn’t. Bought online as the company I purchased were also offering a 10% discount saving me £24 in total. I’m looking to buy a new bed but I definitely wouldn’t purchase from Truro. Have a word with your staff I think they need some customer service training, we just felt we were inconveniencing the staff by being in the shop. There was only 1 other customer in the shop so they were hardly rushed off their feet, just lazy!

Good selection of beds. Good support from Kevin who was knowledgeable but not pushy. So many beds but we were able to narrow it down with Kevin's help. Good offer.
