This is the first time that I have joined a exercise class of any kind and all of the instructors that I have had contact with have been very good at explaining everything to me and made me feel very comfortable.
There is a very good variety of different classes and you are not pushed into doing anything that you are not capable of. It is also very good value for the money.

Fairwater Leisure centre
Nice welcome. Plenty of parking. Class started on time. Shower room and showers were cold, which is hard when you have a 4yr old.

Pros and cons of this place
My son was very happy with his first swimming class. There were two teachers and one of them were in the water to help him. He was well looked after during the whole class. I was impressed with some of the other young children swimming really well. My son is looking forward to go back.
As a parent watching I found the space a bit crowded, there are quite a few children in the class and several classes going on at the same time. It’s also quite noisy as all the teachers need to scream loudly to be heard.
I didn’t like the attitude of another teacher and how she spoke to the children (she was teaching the group next to ours). She seemed annoyed and not very respectful to them.

I went swimming
I went swimming and I got an hour and a half and then I got kicked out. I went with friends and it was fun! It's also cheap for what you get.

many cancellations on classes with no…
many cancellations on classes with no alternative given. Not enough classes at Fairwater centre, cardiff. Cold showers. The app charges for non attendance when I attend often

The team at Fairwater, Cardiff are fantastic, at reception and at the Pool. Im returning after open heart surgery and their care, professionalism and friendliness made me feel safe and welcomed.
