Wow! Meets all my needs
We rejoined the gym after being away for 3 years. We were met by Joanne and she was great. Went out of her way to give us first class help. Explained all the details that we needed to know. WE started on the first Monday and immediately were met with friends from the past. What a change had taken place since we last were there. All the equipment was first class and more of it. Forgot how to start the machine and help came immediately and I was on my way

All the staff are lovely and helpful. I haven’t been for a while but noticed when I came back they have some fab new equipment to use!! Brilliant gym!!

Great first session
Pawel, great instructor, good first session for me and he could see where I could do a bit more on certain exercises and advised to ease off when I was struggled.

Average gym
If you’re okay with working out in a stuffy environment, this gym might be fine for you. However, the air conditioning is rarely on unless you repeatedly ask the staff, which can be frustrating. For a monthly fee of £32, you’d expect better facilities—especially considering that other high-end gyms offer more for the same or even lower price. Overall, it’s an average gym that doesn’t quite justify the cost.

Joined this gym for nearly £45 a month just to find out the machines are broken been here for a month no sign of anything being fixed…

The ladies only facilities are very…
The ladies only facilities are very minimal in a small claustrophobic room and with some equipment that are not even used at all by the members. All the best equipment are in the mixed members section. Air con in the room doesn’t work and the windows don’t open. When you do switch it on the AC it works for a moment the switches itself back off. Issues have been reported by several members to reception and nothing has been done and half the reports aren’t even logged.

I would recommend Better gym west road Newcastle. The staff are exceptional! So helpful and friendly nothing is a bother.
