I have just joined Tadworth sports as a 65 year old!
I have just joined Tadworth sports centre. a very friendly, professional atmosphere. Helpful, staff and fantastic facilities. Very clean swimming pool and showers that all work !

First impression
I love the variety of classes, I've been attending some of them recently. Overall experience has been good, but there're few things i would like to see being improved.
First, the waiting list system. In my opinion the waiting list shall be structured, so people have their place in the queue. And when a space becomes available, the 1st person on the waiting list shall have it.
Second, the gap between the classes is not existent. There's no time to prepare your mats and other equipment, or pack your things, as one class follows another with no breaks between them.
Third, the hygiene concerns. In the community room very often there's no disinfectant spray to wipe the mats. Which leads to many people using the same mat without cleaning them, which is very concerning.

The waitlist allows all members to join, and an email is sent to all members on the waitlist with the option to book the class if available. This allows all members an equal opportunity to book.
Thank you also for your feedback regarding the lack of breaks between classes and the hygiene concerns you raised. We appreciate your comments and will forward them to the management team at Tadworth Leisure and Community Centre.
We hope these issues can be addressed and improved promptly.

Friendly staff, well equipped, clean and modern. Only downside is a lot of the classes get booked up very quickly.

We understand your frustration about classes filling up quickly, as some of our sessions are very popular.
We’d recommend booking as early as possible via the Better app, and fitness class sessions are released 7 days in advance at 22:00.

Professional lifeguarding
I swam at the leisure centre 11/03/26 and the male lifeguard on duty between 11-1130 was fantastic he recognised a swimmer was in the wrong lane and politely and professionally asked him to move without the other swimmers having to ask him to. I very much appreciated it.

Really impressed that kids can join when they turn 11. Easy booking process for the junior gym sessions. Staff are friendly and the equipment is as expected.

I've recently taken up a swimming…
I've recently taken up a swimming membership as great value for money, and managing to get there minimum 3 times a week. Premises are clean and pool well maintained. App is easy to use to book a slot. Staff are friendly and l'm really enjoying getting fit at my own pace.
