Spacious Gym, good equipment and classes.

I have been a member now for almost a year in York LC, It's a good gym overall and value for money.

However, other members frequently lacking in hygienic practices such as wiping down equipment after use (obviously with sweat marks) or simply putting away weights after use, despite numerous signs dotted around the gym.

My suggestion would be to mention it as part of your gym membership sign up , that people are required to regardless - or risk temporary or even permanent bans like a lot of other gyms do.

I called the better contact centre and they gave me the wrong information. When I went into the Yorkhall gym the customer assistance could not tell me anything about the services available. One person told me they do have women only gym time then another person told me they don’t. I feel like if they are working I
At the Better gyms they need to be more well aware of the services available.

Don’t think you’ll be able to get on the fitness classes. The yoga session on a Wednesday seems to book up in one minute, then you can join a waitlist. You get an email when someone drops out so if you have a job and arent on your emails every second of the day you’ll miss the chance. It’s ridiculously unfair!
