I purchased about $3,000 worth of furniture and other items from Big Sandy. Everything went fine until my son was dissatisfied with his pillow purchase. He wanted to exchange it for a lower profile pillow. It was a Purple brand pillow. Purple has a 100 day guarantee on their pillows and mattresses. We purchased it at Big Sandy instead of directly through Purple because the sales person led us to believe that we would have the same guarantee with the convenience of taking it home with us the same day. Totally wrong. Big Sandy refused to honor the Purple guarantee we were stuck with the pillow. I have four more rooms to furnish - I won’t be shopping there for any of it.

My daughter bought 2 steel flex couches, and 2 recliners in november 2020, and this is mid april 2021.. she recceived the couches , although one had mechanical issues and had to be repaired.. she has yet to receive the recliners...they promise every 2 weeks they will be delivered but they continue to put her off and promise again..this is unacceptable.. I know there was a virus and that created a problem..I have a friend that had same problem before COVID 19 and they put her off until finally saying furniture was discontinued..
evidentally this is a common practice with this company..

Placed an online order for a baby furniture set with a charge for assembly. Two months later, when I called for an update on the 4-6 weeks for delivery, I was told the set was discontinued.
Emily at the Wheelersburg, Ohio distribution center was very helpful emailing me options to choose from. We needed the set to be “assembled” on site and I was told it would be. That that’s what White Glove PREMIUM delivery meant.
Three (3) months later they can deliver everything Except the dresser. Note: the baby is now due in two weeks!!!
Upon arrival they inform me they don’t assemble. Management’s response was “the web discloses assembly required”.
Worst customer service ever! They should stand by their associates promises. Worst $2G I’ve ever spent.

Bought a washer and dryer at the Teays Valley location from Tonya Mcqueen. She was so helpful and knows her stuff! I absolutely love them!!! Thank you Tonya for all your help!

I should of known buying anything from this store was a mistake! Walked around the whole store for a hour and not once did anyone greet me or ask if I needed help! However found a sectional I really liked decide to purchase it was told it would in on Tuesday at a different location to pick up so I rented a truck and went to pick up at designated time got there only only had half the couch when I told the guy working at the customer pick up he looked at me and sadly very rudely well that’s not my problem! So I went back inside the store and spoke to the lady who really could careless about the issue and the guys rude mouth and she said will get it to you Friday maybe Saturday..Very rude people and not helpful! I will never purchase from them again!

Absolutely the worst company we have ever dealt with. Just finished building a home and prior to the build being completed, we purchased an appliance package with them in excess of $8000. The delivery and installation was a nightmare. There were so many issues, I don’t even know where to start. Rude, incompetent and unprofessional delivery and installation crews. Management and sales is about the same. They left hundreds of dollars in damage to our new home with a botched installation.

Purchased a power reclining sectional which broke in 11 days. Called Big Sandy's for a repair it took 2 weeks for service to get here. Repair man knew it was a bad switch before he got here, but had no switch in his vehicle. Received a text from Big Sandy's repair it would be 6weeks to get switch, then they would schedule an appointment. So after having my sectional for 3 months I get to recline for 11 days. Called manufacturer, they sent a new switch that same day! BIG SANDY"S SERVICE DEPARTMENT SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!

You might as well buy online because things aren’t assembled like furniture used to be in furniture stores! And if you break the it trying to assemble it, you buy it!!! Two end tables took my husband, who is very handy, two hours to assemble after paying 1000. For 2 end tables and a coffee table. Just buy online and assemble yourself and save money!

I bought a refrigerator, 1 month
ago, had to install it myself, even though Greg said it would be installed, had one of the door screws, plastic, missing and now it seems like, I don't know how to explain it, they have no clue and no compassion, to fix it. I would consider carefully about shopping here.

We bought two recliners in February of 2019. Within a few months both chairs were broken. On one chair the spring for the recliner snapped, on the same chair the “leather” was worn out. The other chair the arm rest completely broke off. We purchased a three year extended warranty on both chairs. So of course I call to get them fixed. We were allowed one rip protection why only 1 when we bought two chairs doesn’t make sense to me. But anyway they came out to “fix the chairs” two days later the arm rest broke again and that was in october I am still waiting as of January 2 2021 for them to come back and fix it. Don’t waste your time. Their products are junk and the warranty is a joke. Everything they did to “fix” these chairs I could’ve done myself!! Do yourself a favor and go to value city atleast their warranty and quality is better!!

Item advertised on there website in electronics clearly states “item ships free to your door”. After adding to cart there is no free shipping option. The cost is $99 to ship. Customer service is absolutely terrible with this company.

DO NOT waste your money and time with big sandy superstore! First problem... We kept telling the salesman over and over what color loveseat and chair we wanted, both the same color brown, but the chair was green and loveseat was brown. Second problem... We drove 40 minutes to pick up the chair and that was when we found out it was green after we brought it home and started to unpack it. I’ve talked to several people at the store without any satisfaction and my opinion is that all they care about is the sale and nothing else. They have Terrible customer service and I don’t think Big Sandy’s is going to be in business very long.

Don’t buy a warranty on your tv because apparently when it gets busted it doesn’t cover it, they want you to pay double what the tv is worth and then they cuss you on the other end of the line! I will never in my entire life ever buy another thing off of them

I went in to purchase a mattress with their Black Friday ad that advertised a free 55” HDTV. What they don’t tell you is that it is only the free TV with incorrectly priced mattress OR national promotion that is price matched with manufacturers website pricing. There is nothing in their ad circular that states this. Management does not care to hold up to their word of what was published in their ads. I’m cancelling my order and will never deal with Big Sandy’s again.

This is the worst company to deal with! Lie after lie! Took us 5 months to get out furniture and we still haven’t got all our rebates which equal over $1200! The corporate office will not return our calls! The salesman Michael is a liar! And funny enough the manager and accounting person we were working for both quit the company! Well don’t blame them! This company is a joke! We will never spend another minute or dime in this store!

My fiance and I bought furniture 4 months ago and all they keep telling me is that it's the manufacturer. So we bought value city furniture and got it in 2 weeks do to covid. I really hope big Sandy's go out of business.

Went looking for a kitchen package on 10/26/20 needed a no credit check option looked online got approved for acceptance now. I stopped into the Dayton location to speak to representative a young woman was there but she seemed intoxicated her words were slurred and running together. I couldn’t do business like that I love the no credit option but at that cost to have someone reeking of alcohol. Went to Best Buy to purchase staff was friendly.

I bought the appliances from Big Sandy Superstore and my range when out but under warranty and so I called them it took them 10days to come to my house to check the range and after they checked the range they told me that my range blew up and they said that they have to order new head and that will take 3 weeks to get it. My point is my appliances under warranty should being replaced. But they got me suffer for roughly a month and half instead replace my stove.
