They are a bunch of liars
They are a bunch of liars. Wanted to get a pricematch with another major retailer with more than two stores. Amanda blatantly lied and said their stores are all old and closed, so cant pricematch. I showed her evidence otherwise and then she said its a competitors clearance item (which it isnt), and therefore cant be price matched. Then made up a new price match policy on the spot about Bing Lee and ended the conversation.

The delivery guys at Bing Lee are awful, refused to take the washing machine oh&s reason, why? roaches. Do the job and remove the item I paid for the premium service if you can't honour the deal don't guarantee it. I'm absolutely horribly angry at the laziness and entitlement of the situation. On the bright side customer service fantastic! website interface super easy even on mobile! Just the removal is the problematic issue.
Extremely poor delivery experience with Bing Lee
I purchased a refrigerator online expecting a professional delivery service, but what I experienced was careless, unprofessional, and frankly unacceptable.
When the delivery truck arrived, the driver attempted to enter my property in such a poor manner that the truck actually struck the post of my electric security gate. I had to step in and stop him before further damage occurred. Even after making contact with the gate post, the driver insisted the vehicle was not touching it. Had I not intervened, the gate post and the electric gate mechanism would very likely have been damaged, which could have resulted in significant repair costs.
Unfortunately the situation got worse during the removal of my old fridge. The same driver struck my doorframe twice with the appliance trolley while moving the fridge out of the house. This caused visible damage to the frame, including splintered timber on one side and a deep scratch on the other. It was obvious the trolley was being handled without the level of care you would expect when moving a heavy appliance through someoneâs home.
After causing the damage, the driverâs colleague then falsely accused me of interfering with the trolley, which simply did not happen. I did not touch the trolley at any point. When I challenged this accusation, the driver responsible for the damage suddenly became very quiet and avoided responding.
What makes this even more frustrating is that when I raised the issue afterwards, Bing Lee chose to accept the driversâ version of events rather than properly acknowledge the damage that occurred during the delivery. Instead of accountability, the response was essentially to dismiss the complaint.
Customers invite delivery drivers into their homes and should be able to expect basic competence, care, and honesty. In this case I experienced the opposite: poor vehicle handling, careless movement of heavy equipment inside my home, property damage, and then an attempt to shift the blame.
Based on my experience, I would strongly caution others about relying on Bing Lee and their delivery service. If this is the standard of care provided, customers should be aware of the potential risk to their property and poor customer service.
Very disappointing experience.
LG Fridge from Bing Lee online
Bought an LG fridge from Bing Lee online, got delivered with the fridge door covered in marks and scratches. I was offered 10% off to keep it or a replacement fridge in 3 days... but was told i couldn't use the new fridge in the meantime because they would resell it at a discounted price. How ridiculous, i declined as i cannot go nearly a week without a fridge. I ended up getting $100 off and kept it but will never shop at Bing Lee again.
If it's Bing Lee a store
If it's to Bing Lee as a store I'd even say they are ok, BUT.... their crackhead delivery service including managers is horrible. I never experienced more useless delivery service including Menulog. I'm disappointed and frustrated. Manager tried to explain to me that is ok to make people wait for 3 hours for delivery guy and skip pretty much all day at work because they can't give one simple call hour prior to delivery. Behaviour, service, people skills, understanding, communication, for $700.00 worth of merchandise, is absolute 0... zero is not existent but if I can I'd never let these idiots deliver fries and not something more. Big mistake. Never again!
Update:
After my private review one of the main store managers called me and apologised for horrible delivery service and promised that's not the way they asked delivery department to deal with customers. She organised old appliance pick up and she was absolutely great. So Store +5â and idiot who ruined it for Bing Lee (truck driver and his manager who won't wait for anyone (as he said) after I asked for 10min just to get there) 0â actually ð©. I hope you both get your lessions in dealing with customers....

Fantastic experience! Delivery less than 24 hours after order!
After a shocking experience with The Good Guys, I ordered an appliance through Bing Leeâs website which was delivered less than 24 hours after the order was made. Such a different experience! Delivery guys were fabulous as well!
They lie about the 'buy now receive before this date'
The website had 'buy before midday receive before x date', so I bought it as I was basing the purchase on time to delivery.
Took the day off work when the delivery date came around and only found out it wasn't coming for weeks when I called them asking where it was. They said there is nothing they can do and they don't provide delivery updates. I checked their website and they still had the false delivery date listed for potential new buyers. Really dodgy
Bing Lee no phone payment
I find bing lee needs to up grade their in store payment system especially when one has purchased with credit card before especially if one doesnât have a vehicle and they wonât accept over the phone payment for items thatâs absolutely ridiculous all thatâs happened I purchased all my electronics equipment after being flooded out from other stores and paid over the phone with no problem at all
Don't believe the advertisements about Bing Lee Customer Service is Shocking
I ordered the 12kg Bespoke Smart Front Load Washer from Bing Lee as a Black Friday special, along with the 9kg Heat Pump Dryer. The order went through online, payment was taken immediately, and everything appeared fine.
The next day I received a call from Bing Lee informing me that they couldnât supply the items because their stock count was wrong. I explained that I was in no hurry and was happy to wait for restocking, only to be told the washer was a clearance item and would not be restocked at all.
When I asked what this meant for my order, the only response was that I would receive a full refund. I then asked when the refund would be processed, as I wanted to use the funds during the Black Friday sales. I was told it would take a few working days through the bank. I explained this wasnât acceptable given they had taken my money for an item they couldnât supply. The response was basically that nothing could be done â end of call.
Extremely disappointing experience. Taking payment for an item that isnât actually in stock, then offering no meaningful solution and delaying the refund during major sales, is simply not good enough. I wonât be shopping with Bing Lee again.

The delivery driver arrived early and left before the agreed delivery window
I purchased a range of items from their West Gosford store. The salesman was good and helpful. The delivery was arranged with a 3 hour window. The delivery guy turned up 30 minutes early and was upset that I wasnât there. I said I would rush over and it would take about 15 minutes. After 5 minutes he called and asked where I was, sounding as if it was a problem. - I told him I was on route - maybe 10 minutes away. When I arrived he had left - 15 minutes before the delivery window arranged. I waited thinking he would come back but he didnât and neither would he answer my calls. He didnât have the decency to say that he had left the area.
After shopping at Bing Lee for many years I will not use them again. The delivery service treated me like I was a nuisance.
Delivery has been scheduled again - this may not be the end of my problemsâŠ
Big company with no regard for customer service
Purchased a stick vac online that malfunctioned after a few uses. I contacted customer service and had to pack it up, go to a lot of effort to return it. Weeks later it was sent back apparently they could find nothing wrong with it. Again it malfunction after a few days. They refused my request for a refund. They once again expected me to find a box, packit and lug it to the post office.
Still waiting for a refund. They are once again trying to return it to me. I've sent photos and sent countless emails. Absolutely disgusting customer service.
Great from start to finish
Great from start to finish. The salesperson (David) was really helpful and informative. We got a good price on the fridge and dishwasher we bought. Everything was delivered on time, as promised, by helpful people. The recommended DW installer was prompt, did a really good job at a very good price and provided a good guide to practical use of machine.

A satisfied customer
In spite of many negative reviews I went ahead and ordered a new washing machine from Bing Lee. I'm glad I did. They were the only dealer offering free delivery/installation/removal of old machine and packaging. I received excellent help from the chat bar, regular delivery updates the following day and installation by two cheerful and helpful delivery men. I was very satisfied with all aspects of the transaction.

Even when you quote applicable Consumer Law sections... Their response is basically a case of too bad, we don't agree, goodbye, we won't accept goods back because they weren't suitable for you... Glad I got the item on discount, 1/3 rd off, but still stuck with a $220 useless item!
