Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff

Was in store looking at new walking shoes and got a nice pair of black merrell. I was assisted by staff member Steven hevwas a great help and support. Thanks so much

Ordered a jacket online to be picked up from Glasgow shop. We ended up being gone when the jacket was delivered to the shop & the guys held it for us. Very pleasant, friendly & easy to talk to.

Friendly staff - a credit to the company

I was served by Frances she was very helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, courteous and professional. I was returning a Berghaus jacket that the zip had broken on. Frances exchanged the jacket for me. Because of the way Frances treated me I will definitely be shopping in this store again. Frances is a credit to the company. 10 out of 10 I’m a very happy customer.

Was served by Andrew (aka the shoe whisperer!). He listened to my requirements. Found an ideal boot for me. Loving my new boots - would highly recommend Blacks shoe department. Highly knowledgeable and excellent customer service. Friendly to boot (excuse the pun!). 🙂

I had a problem with an order …. I didn’t seem to get very far along the resolution line when I phone up the customer service department. That’s another story…. Anyway…. So I phone up the Glasgow store and spoke to a very helpful lady ( forgive me if I’m wrong but I think she said here name was Laura? ) who helped me out and confirmed a resolution had been reached later that day when she rang back. Absolutely wonderful service from the store …. Top marks!!!

My partner was ill and wanting me to collect a Backpack for her. Her online order had went missing in the post. She was wanting the same Backpack but with the online discount. I spoke to the manager (Frances). After showing her all the emails she allowed me to buy the Backpack in store for the same price as the online discounted one. It meant a lot as the backpack was needed for an urgent trip. It was first class service and really made my partner's day. Daniel served me at the till and everything went smoothly. Will be going back for all our future camping equipment. Wonderful shopping experience. Really well stocked and presented shop too.

Phoned to enquire about product. Spoke to Daniel, very helpful, informative about Sizing as in EU sizes. Answered all questions on product, offered to hold product for 24 which was helpful and appreciated as was travelling from Perth

As there is no Blacks in Perth have shopped at several different stores and the customer experience is consistently good.

Daniel K was exceptional at helping me find the perfect shoes for a muddy concert. Not only was he happy to help but also put huge smiles on our faces. Daniel’s a huge asset to the shop.

Fantastic service from Andrew..He was very patient and offered his expert advice on different hiking boots.

I went shopping yesterday 26/6/26 and my first stop off was Blacks .The new shop layout is amazing and is fully stocked with so many new brands that I don’t know where to begin . Frances and her team are so super helpful and nothing is ever a problem for her and always and I mean that give 100% customer service . I bought everything you had from the label OEX and the other brand Mountain Peak and also a couple of Montane t shirts . I left footwear today as the last time I was in Andrew the footwear specialist gave me excellent advice and ended up buying boots and trainers . I hope you pass on to Frances and the team that they are truly appreciated for their outstanding customer service.
