Reached out to Blackstone Customer Service, waited for over 15 minutes after being forwarded to "priority" service. I left a message that I had to leave from a scheduled appointment and can be reached via the contact info I had on file when I registered my product.

Days have passed and no reply from customer service!

Terrible customer service!

We cannot get our issue resolved with a leaky regulator. You cannot get to talk to anyone and we have been on the line several times this week. We have started a return with Home Depot and will not buy another griddle. Horrible customer service!!!! This is brand new and we cannot use it!!!

Horrible customer service


Grill wouldn’t light and the few times it did wasn’t strong enough to stay lit. Tried reaching out to blackstone several times with several different methods and all of them dead ends. Horrible customer service.

Poor customer serivce

We bought a 22' with table. Pins to hold the griddle to the table would not line up. Sent info to Blackstone, took 5 days for a response. Hubby had to put washers in place to make it safe. One month later, still talking to them "keep cooking on it, the steel should eventually slide into place" they say....can't do anymore." Why have a warranty? Unbelievably poor service. Buy a different brand!

Bought a 36” Blackstone griddle 12/22

Bought a 36” Blackstone griddle 12/22 , it has started to rust even though I keep a cover on it. They will send another top unit but I have to install and find a place that will take the old unit. Again, only a couple of months old. They did offer me $70 in product, yet the chat was cut off, not sure if I am getting that. Told them I had the unit assembled cause I do not have any skills. I just want to cook not take care of a manufactures defect.

No true warranty & rude customer service

Ordered a 36” Griddle, still under warranty. And bought a cover from them to exact fit on the same day we purchased the grill. We meticulously maintained it properly and out the cover on every time and made sure it was clean. We properly seasoned the grill as I explained we properly maintained the griddle. Called customer support and registered my grille and Nicolel was assuming we didn’t take care of it and I spoke to another rude representative. I will no longer be doing any business with this company.

Poor Customer Service

Ordered a griddle on Dec. 19th, 2022. Delivery date was Dec. 26- 27. Ok, to be expected and was good with it. They are based and ship out of Utah and we are in Wyoming, about 10 hrs away. I watched the tracking until Christmas Eve and over Christmas weekend it ended up in Maryland. We weren't going to get it until Jan. 2-3, which means I would have to ship it to the recipient because they would be back home by then.

I called Blackstone and was told it was FedEx's fault and nothing they could do. They wouldn't send another one and deal with FedEx about the lost one. They would not issue a refund until they received the griddle from either FedEx or us (minus a 10% restocking fee and we pay for shipping to them).

I won't do business with this company again.

Blackstone doesn't publish negative reviews!

Blackstone's reputation is apparently built on lies. I was asked to leave a review. I gave my honest experience, and they didn't like it, so they told me they weren't going to publish it! Below, I have copy and pasted my actual review, as well as the response I received. I hope this helps people:

MY REVIEW:

Customer service leaves a LOT to be desired...

I have no idea why I was asked to leave a review, but ok...I purchased the griddle from Blackstone, and I was sent an email telling me it was out of stock so my order was cancelled. There was no choice in the matter for me. I sent a reply asking if they could recommend something similar, because I still wanted a Blackstone griddle. I didn't want a refund. I wanted an alternative. I received a reply with a recommendation for another model, and was told to check with local retailers to see if they have it, and just buy it from them. I was surprised by the subpar customer service, but again...this was Blackstone's choice; not mine. It was very frustrating and extremely inconvenient. If the customer service I experienced was any indication, then I would not recommend buying a Blackstone product.

We have a food truck in utah I installed the 32 inch propane .we have friers and a lot of other amenities along with a full menue.the problem being we cook 200 plus burgers a day on the black stone it won't hold temperature this cook time increases along with cold spots.there for for the average griller great commercial use no.needs better grease solutions better temp control I give it 1.5 on a scale 1 to 10

Blackstone gathers dross on its tarnished and split public image

When we discovered that Blackstone had taken over Bourne Leisure we were hopeful the new broom would sweep up the dross that had accumulated prior to and since we were mis-sold a caravan in 2013. Sadly our optimism has been shattered by what we have discovered about this company, the “financialization of housing” and how it has been widely reported to operate worldwide. What is worse for us is that this organisation has, by default, acquired a Charging Order on our home which, of course, we are not happy about. It was bad enough when Bourne Leisure obtained the charge in December 2018, but with this investment group running the show things are much more dire. With this in mind on 12 October we emailed Stephen Schwarzman, Blackstone’s GEO, the following:-

‘When Blackstone acquired Bourne Leisure Limited it also inherited a charge on our home that we take great exception to as it was obtained by false and inaccurate statements being submitted to a court based on intrinsically flawed testimonies and barristers’ inaccurate skeleton arguments.

As a result of this charging order we have been victimised twice – once when we were sold a caravan by Bourne Leisure worth less than we originally thought it was valued at, and then with the imposition of this vexatious and ill-conceived Charging Order.

In the circumstances please advise as to what legal ground Blackstone continues with this imposition in view of the fact that Bourne Leisure no longer inflates caravan sales on hire purchase by the inclusion of site fees and other one-off first year charges and running costs - the very things we were charged and which we have persistently complained about for several years


We trust you will extend to us the courtesy of some form of response from Blackstone concerning this matter in the very near future.’

As we see it, Blackstone now has an opportunity to remedy perceived past wrongs – and we do not just mean in the way Bourne Leisure mis-sold its holiday home to us – and assure us that reported harmful policies will be rooted out of its modus operandi going forward. We are very troubled by what appeared in a seven page letter from the United Nations to Mr Schwarzman, dated 22 March 2019, which included the following:-

‘We would like you to be aware of our principle concerns with respect to Blackstone’s engagement in residential real estate, from the perspective of human rights


‘
 Blackstone is using its significant resources and political leverage to undermine domestic laws and policies that would 
 improve access to adequate housing consistent with international human rights law


‘Blackstone’s and its subsidiaries’ business model is pushing low-income, and increasingly middle-income people from their homes. Blackstone’s practices 
 have abruptly increased the rental payments 
 making them unaffordable for millions of the existing residents, decreased the availability and affordability of social housing, and has undertook aggressive evictions to protect rental income streams to satisfy investors 


‘
 we draw your attention 
 that a number of your policies and measures are inconsistent with international human rights law and norms


‘Business entities also have direct human rights responsibilities to respect and facilitate rights, including the right to housing. This means Blackstone should refrain from taking any action that will cause harm to tenants as well as taking positive steps to ensure the realization of the rights to housing
’

Blackstone was not pleased with this letter and disputed its assertions entirely in a three page response as The Guardian reported 26 March 2019 in an article headed “UN accuses Blackstone Group of contributing to global housing crisis”:-

‘Blackstone disputed these claims 
 the UN report contained “numerous false claims, significant factual errors and inaccurate conclusions”. And the company was “surprised and disappointed” that the UN would “send a communication without verifying your assertions and providing appropriate context.’

The article went on:- ‘Blackstone has 
 acquired hundreds of thousands of homes in the US, Europe, Asia and Latin America 
 making it one of the largest and most powerful global players in the housing investment sector.’

Having been victims of large companies denying the truth it is not hard to think that perhaps the UN report is likely to be more reliable than Blackstone’s denials. Whatever the truth, it is clear from the amount of negative reports online that Blackstone’s name is not entirely free from those flinging mud at it. This said, however, it is not too late to change direction and become recognised and respected for doing some real good in the world.

It is much better to be honoured by the UN and the public rather than be slated by them!
