Just returned from a holiday having stayed at the Blue Monkey. What a great place! Right from the start the service has been excellent. We received lots of information prior to our arrival which helped us plan our week.
On arrival we enjoyed a very welcome cream tea provided by the owners.
The house is warm, clean and inviting and has everything you could wish for. There was plenty of clean towels, quality bedding, store cupboard essentials. Everything you need for a great holiday.
The house is in a great location, close to local amenities and the car park.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to a return visit.

Blue monkey was a beautiful relaxing home from home. It had everything a family needed to enjoy a family holiday in a picturesque setting. Highly recommend!

Marvellous holiday for nine of us plus two children <3 yrs old plus dogs.
Cawsand/Kingsand beaches and pubs are all on the doorstep and it is a safe bay for kayaking when not too breezy. Lovely coastal walks.

We found Blue Monkey to be clean and well equipped and spacious enough for all of us and safe for the children. We would be very pleased to repeat our visit.

An excellent house - spacious, well-equipped and in an excellent location in the beautiful villages of Kingsand/Cawsand - a few steps away from a beach, a welcoming pub and a great cafe. The information before arrival about both the house and the area was the best we’ve had in a holiday rental. Would definitely recommend.

Blue Monkey is a rare find, spacious and comfortable with nothing to fault and the management are always contactable should one have any queries.
The rear courtyard is perfect for al fresco dining and, should it turn chilly, there is a plentiful supply of wood for the stove.

A particular bonus is the Concierge Service which will arrange anything from kayaking to restaurant reservations, or even foraging forays.

Blue Monkey is excellent in every way. The on site management was available at all times to answer any of our questions. The house is lovely and the patio and garden are gems. The towns of Cawsand and Kingsand have wonderful restaurants. Something is always happening at the harbor. Every necessity that you could possibly need in a house rental has been anticipated.

Lovely place to stay in Cawsand. Everything has been carefully thought of and everything you need is there, even a Nespresso machine.

Blue Monkey is a gorgeous historic house. It is wonderful to arrive and find the sea just yards from the door - plus the narrow winding streets of the village and two great pubs within three minutes walk. We were really comfortable, with everything in the house very well organised. The area feels like it is not so well known but straight from the door or within a short drive there are fabulous walks, along clifftops (you can go in and chat to the coastguards at Rame Head) or following wooded tidal creeks.
