How sad....I came on here to verify my personal 'suspicions' before maybe joining Boundless. Firstly THANK YOU to all who reviewed on here, thank you also Trustpilot. Next. On looking at the 'benefits', I think, given my North West UK locality, saw that instantly, unless you live down South, benefits are very few. I then came here for reviews. A CONTRACT to me, is fixed for BOTH sides, but it doesn't appear to apply to Boundless! Yes, costs DO rise, BUT they can also FALL, so unless there are clear specifics in that contract which both parties understand & agree to, I am fairly sure it cannot be right that one party can make alterations at will mid contract, Not having used Boundless before, & living 'up north', 'benefits' will not outweigh potential costs, AND reading responses of both sides here, I decided at least for now to give it a miss. It doesn't seem of fair benefit to both sides as the contract seems unfair, unreliable & ONE sided. What if members costs increase? Are they allowed to just say "I am paying less due to cost of living rise"? One party surely cannot or at least should not be able to change things mid contract? Sounds a great idea but doesn't work for all. I can only watch, wait and hope, but ageing as we all do & already in poor health...well...I am sure you can fill the rest in for me... Val
Like many others, I'm very disappointed that the Historic Palace benefit associated with Boundless Plus has been amended mid-way through my membership without warning. I only found this out when planning our trip to Hampton Court Palace, which will now cost £45+ more than it should (if we still go).
As a basic principle, customers should expect to receive what they pay for when they sign up for memberships like this. I'm afriad the addition of the National Art Pass is of no interest.

A very disappointing experience with Boundless. I took membership of Boundless many years ago, there were significant benefits of doing so. Time has moved on, and so have I. I now line so far away from the attractions that one can visit as a benefit of Boundless that it renders that as having no advantage. I no longer insure my car with LV as I was unhappy with the level of service I received recently (which is the subject of a formal complaint to LV) and so, effectively I was left paying £45 per year for a magazine that I do not read. I contacted Boundless recently to ask about cancelling membership and was assured I would get a pro-rata refund. As my insurance with LV was due to expire shorty I left the Boundless membership in place. I rang today to cancel the membership only to find that I had been wrongly informed. So let's just break this down a bit. I have reinsured my house through LV without the Boundless discount (based on my previous conversation with Boundless) and insured my car elsewhere - on trying to cancel the membership today I find that there is no refund, I was given incorrect information and I find myself now paying for a very mediocre magazine that I put into the recycling each month. I am very annoyed that I was misinformed and, quite frankly, very disappointed in Boundless per se as their membership benefits are really not suitable for the area in which I live. I sincerely doubt I will be rejoining and would not recommend others to do so.

After changing the rules for members of Boundless + with regards to two people visiting HRP properties, I reviewed Boundless+. While it was still a good option, it was not why I had signed up for the + option. It seems from other reviews I was not alone in my experience. I would now like to thank Boundless + for a generous response. They obviously did not need to make âamendsâ, but IMHO they have gone beyond what I expected.

This company can't keep to the terms of the agreement. I signed up to Boundless Plus membership in January and learnt from someone else that the Royal Palaces membership is going to be limited now and I can no longer take my family as advertised. Er, what? I literally signed up to Boundless because of this benefit, so I'm not getting what I actually paid for and what was agreed just because this company has changed it's mind about the deal. Complete disrespect for me as a customer and complete breach of basic consumer protection law.
Update: Boundless' reply does not justify breaching consumer law; the fact that they have a separate agreement with a charity does not justify breaking agreements with their customers. If the advertised benefits cannot be guaranteed beyond a certain period, that should have been clear when I signed up so that I wasn't completely misled. For example, they could have said "until 31 March, take 1 adult and 2 children with you for free" but they didn't.

Very disappointed. I have been lucky enough to join a friend of mine on her Boundless membership to visits to Hampton Court which is near us both. I am now a carer for my disabled mother & she has always loved it there so I joined LAST WEEK to enable me to take her there whenever the weather is nice to just sit in the Rose Garden or occasionally make use of their mobility scooter for her. To say I was extremely annoyed to get a email informing me that Boundless Plus only now allows me to enter for âfreeâ is an understatement. Surely they knew about this a week ago? Not impressed at all even if I do understand their reasons

I use the Royal Palace option a lot with my husband and friends and have advised friends to join Boundless too. Now only one person can use this benefit it will put a lot of people off I think.
One friend only joined this month in order to take her disabled mother, but she won't be able to, after one month's use of an annual pass.
It is very disappointing.

Beware the change of rules for visiting HRP with Boundless+. I joined due to the two person (+4 child) entry to HRP properties. I have just received an email, part way through my membership, telling me from March 31st only myself (and 1 child) will be able to enter for free, not even a half price option for another adult.

I've been a Boundless member for many years and recently upgraded to Boundless
Plus membership which is especially brilliant for families who enjoy visiting national trust properties through the new art pass privilege and royal palaces like the Tower of London which we would otherwise not be able to afford if we paid direct.
We've also enjoyed some lovely members days with Boundless, I am a carer and we are a low income family who would struggle to afford the high cost of some of the park / attraction entrance fees had it not been for boundless subsidizing the day. They are normally well organized and staff always give you a very warm welcome when scanning tickets.
Sue L in headquarters was very helpful when dealing with a recent issue that we had regarding not being notified that the Whitemead site was closing early at 12pm at the time of booking, she went to the trouble of calling and emailing to discuss and her customer service was excellent!
Over the years we've enjoyed some lovely breaks with family and friends in Parkend but have knocked a star off as Whitemead sadly still appear to be charging loyal members more to book via their official site whilst pods and apartments can often be found cheaper by non members via other sites such as Groupon. The restaurant / cafe is also quite expensive for families.

Excellent afternoon at SS Great Britain, amazing what they have done to the initial âshellâ of the ship. Quality of work very good and story line very informative.
Only downside was the tea room closed before 4 oâclock, saying that they had no food left.
Can recommend a visit, but you will need at least 3 or 4 hours to look at everything.
Had a wonderful time. In fact we ran out of time so if anything I would have booked an earlier slot as we missed the Brunel museum!
Wonderfully organised to by boundless. We used the park and ride, got to Bristol early, and took a leisurely stroll to the SS Great Britain. Even so we were 20 minutes early, which was no problem and we went in fine. The ship is fascinating, and the presentation is excellent. We had a snack in the on board cafe (delicious), and had a really good explore. Lots of information on board, and some great hands on experiences.
We had a guidebook with our boundless tickets, and were also entered into the prize draw. We both won a goody bag with some really cool memorabilia, which rounded off the day.
Very well organised with friendly, smiley and well informed Boundless people to welcome us
Excellent service from the Boundless team when we arrived at the car park and then a very enjoyable time spent touring the SS Great Britain. Highly recommended!
Staff at the desk were very helpful and there wasn't a queue when we arrived so nice and quick. One slight issue was that part of the site shut at 4, which we weren't aware of so we weren't able to see that. As we came during the 1 till 3 slot it would have been handy to have known that when we registered.
Well organised by Boundless. Couldn't help the weather. All staff very helpful and knowledgeable.
Haven't been to the SS Gt Britain for many years.
I was a child when it was tugged into dock. I can remember it well.
The Great Britain is a fabulous ship, and a fitting memorial to one of Britain's greatest engineers, Isembard Kingdom Brunel
The Boundless Day was a pleasure throughout, with a warm welcome, a free guide book for later reference, and great service throughout.
The weather was rather bleak, but most of the exhibits were indoors, so this wasn't a problem.
The "underwater"part of the day was interesting and there was so much to learn about the great man and his many designs/projects/escapades!
The on-board cafe also made a great cup of coffee.
Overall, a superb day out!
Thanks to the Boundless team.
Very good visit, parking was easy and nearby, traffic in Bristol bit of a nightmare with temporary road closures and Satnav not helping. Without the CSMA discounts on entry and parking it would have been an expensive excursion.
