They delivered the paint quickly. The shop has a good variety of DIY items

The staff are always helpful and efficient and my favourite paints above all others are the Albany Paints

Very good experience of a member of staff thinking laterally to remedy a mistake of my own making in ordering paint online for collection at the shop. They obviously care about their product and giving the customer the best service.

The staff at the store were amazing at helping me resolve an issue which I was getting quite stressed about, they were very knowledgeable and helpful and they went above and beyond to ensure I got the paint I needed so I could start work the next day. Thank you to everyone especially the man who got me the paint (sorry I didn’t catch the names).

Very fast delivery and friendly staff

Went to this store yesterday to get some paint, was greeted to a hello as I went in, I needed help with the paint as I was painting my kitchen, what a breathe of fresh air to see so many women working there, they were friendly and knowledgeable and helped me with the paint I needed, I painted my kitchen and it’s beautiful, Thankyou so much ladies at the New England street store, I will definitely recommend to my friends if they need help with there paint choices,

I have used this branch for many years the staff have always been helpful, understanding, always have items delivered in store & always on time. Plus the advice has been good & an alternative product suggested.

Freshfield branch Brighton we’re not so helpful, when asking for help with wallpaper, I was told he didn’t know anything about wallpaper and left me to help myself whilst he decided to go back to 2 other staff members who were standing chatting to themselves.
I won’t return to that branch

I normally only review exceptional service or bad service. I have been coming in New England Street for years and I am never disappointed. All the staff really help me as I'm a bit slower at 78 but they do it in a happy way and not a patronising way. Even when it's raining they take my stuff to the car and they all know me and chat away when it's not too busy. Thank you New England Street for making all my experiences lovely.

I was contacted for this review, so I guess I can say something. Our experience with the staff was not very nice. No response to a hello, poor advice, and they seemed to just not want to be there. I felt uncomfortable like I had done something wrong. The mixed paint was strangely thin compared to the same mix at another store, but I don't know which was the right way. I had helpful service the previously from a young gentleman but the lady that was there on the last visit made me not want to go back. I remember talking my partner when i got home about how strange it was.

I also don't like that they promote a 20% discount for signing up to their service but that is not immediate. You have to wait a few days, so we ended up paying full price.
