My wife and i have lived in Eastbourne all our lives, and have decorated all of our homes ourselves. Never bought anything from Brewers, seem to market a certain type of customer, and in our opinion always overpriced. The only two occasions when we decided to give them a try were very disappointing. First occasion, we requested some Morris & co paper samples which they had in their warehouse. We were advised they would be with us in five minutes whilst someone went to get them. 30 minutes later we had to ask again. Second time, we wanted to buy Sandersons ready mixed paper paste, we were told exactly the same as above, then when we asked again, were told that the ones in stock were damaged and they could not sell them to us..really!!! but rather than tell us immediately made us wait till we went back to the counter. But the guy had plenty of time to talk to his female co worker. Wont be bothering with brewers again, fyi we did buy the wallpaper from them despite being cheaper online, but thought we would try supporting local businesses.

Wow. You probably the best Service I have ever received from any online Shopping store.
I ordered my paint in plenty of time, but to my surprise, The paint arrived the next day and was delivered to my door by a friendly delivery driver.

Speed of delivery amazing. I ordered online at about 8.30 a.m. and the goods arrived before 10.00 a.m. You can't get better than that! But, Brewers have always been good.

Excellent delivery and fairly priced for including delivery however the container tin was dented on nearly every corner and so difficult to open.

Item ordered for click and collect with estimated delivery time of three working days, await text to notify when item ready for collection. I think it probably arrived in the shop within the advertised time. But I never received any notification. So two weeks later I went into the shop to enquire and discovered it had been there for some time, awaiting collection....

Easy to use website and picked up my paint from Eastbourne store. Easy to park and Friendly helpful staff.

Stood and waited and waited to be served. One guy was serving , called over to the office where there where three other members of staff, is there any one serving, they replied we are sorting something out. It took three members of staff to sort out the problem on a computer. It’s a shame Brewers missed out on £250.00 pounds worth of sales. Hooray for HOMEBASE.

Honest staff advice even on a bank holiday!! Resulted in an order on line and delivered on my doorstep from another branch the same week.
