Brockstock/ Pie Charts
Brockstock is honestly one of the most impressive and well-designed investment platforms I’ve seen in South Africa. Everything about the app feels clean, modern, and intentional. This is exactly the kind of investment platform many people have been waiting for -especially those who want to invest with clarity, structure, and confidence.
What really stood out to me is the portfolio experience, particularly the PIE CHART design. I’m personally inspired by platforms like M1 Finance, and Brockstock clearly shares that same professional vision. The Pie Charts make portfolios easy to understand, visually motivating, and well organized. For users who appreciate structure and quality visuals, this is a big advantage.
One feature I truly appreciate is the ability to manage multiple portfolios under one account. This is powerful because it allows users to align investments with real-life goals.
For example:
A personal investment portfolio
A portfolio for children (education or future planning)
A portfolio for building a house
Separate portfolios for long-term goals or specific projects.
Being able to create, rename, and manage different portfolios makes Brockstock feel flexible and future-focused. It supports both beginners and experienced investors by allowing proper financial planning without confusion.
If I were to give one constructive suggestion, it would be to Enhance the PIE CHART labeling even further.
For example:
Displaying the total portfolio value clearly in the center of the pie chart
Showing each company’s name, percentage allocation, and value in a more detailed and premium way
High-quality, well-labeled pie charts increase confidence and give the platform a world-class feel. Personally, the quality of the pie charts is one of the main reasons I joined Brockstock — I’ve always appreciated professional, well-structured visual portfolios.
Overall, Brockstock has done an excellent job creating a platform that supports people who are still starting their investment journey as well as those who are ready to invest immediately. It feels inclusive, forward-thinking, and built for long-term growth.
Brockstock has come a long way already, and it’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into building this platform. Many people in South Africa and some other parts of world, have been waiting for exactly this kind of investment app, and Brockstock is delivering something truly valuable.
Well done to the Brockstock team. I’m excited to see how the platform continues to grow and improve.

Removal of fractional shares
Why have fractional shares been removed? Now you need about R9000 to buy one Berkshire Hathaway share, isn't the main draw of the app was that you allowed fractional shares and made it more accessible to investors starting out small?

Cons: Laptop views are not in sync with mobile.
Mobile site views are too busy.
Wealth of knowledge for extra reading but all embedded and difficult to find again once one exits.
Pros: Good repository of information.
Suggestions: Streamline with drop down options for people who don't have time.
