Bought the whole dinner set. Gravy pot does not pour, Spills out all over the table
Teapot not sealed and tea stains build up. It also dribbles out spout with one teabag but ok with two
Contacted Broste and they replied with it wasn’t a problem!
The order arrived with some broken pieces, I wrote to them(2 emails and one contact form directly from their website) to ask them what can we do and they didn t answer!!
I do not recommend!
Vi skal huske de gode historier her på Trustpilot ☀️. Har købt Eden-havestole for to år siden, og de holder sig rigtig godt og er ikke været ramt af rust på trods af, at de står fremme/ude året rundt. Har derfor netop købt det tilhørende bord. Dejligt med havemøbler, der holder.
Jeg har købt en gryde og et ildfast fad til en julegave, fadet viser sig så at have en fejl i glasuren, hvilket jeg skriver til Broste den 28/12.
Jeg har endnu intet hørt fra dem, ikke engang en bekræftelse på at de har modtaget min reklamation, skrev så en påmindelse i går, men stadig intet.
Nu har jeg så prøvet at ringe til dem, røret blev lagt på 3 gange i træk.
Jeg kommer til at gå i en stor bue udenom Broste Copenhagen fremover, så kan de have nok så billige varer og udsalg.
Firmaet mangler i høj grad kvalitetssikring! Jeg har været super glad for vores stel Nordic Sea og ville supplere med flere tallerkner, skåle og krus. Desværre er der meget stor forskel på det stel jeg købte for flere år siden og det jeg lige har modtaget😒 De ligner slet ikke hinanden i glasuren. Øv øv!!
designed in Scandinavia and produced in China.....we started to buy some cups but will change now and support European produced cups and plates.
Disappointing experience , bought a Nordic sand plate for 87$ , just to find a sticker “ made in China “.
Nothing wrong with that, but for this price and brand marketing I would expect this to be made in Denmark, clearly this is not the case .
Fine glas men mindre god kundeservice. Det er umuligt at komme i kontakt med broste Cph på telefon. Har prøvet at ringe til de tre forskellige telefonnumre de har og uanset hvilket nummer, er der uendelig lang ventetid. Der er bare ventemusik og man ved ikke om man kommer igennem, da de ikke nævner om det er fordi man er i kø. Jeg gav op...
Ellers rigtig fine glas og god kvalitet.
I have spent a lot of money on Broste Nordic tableware, and taken several items back to the shop because the edges of the plates have chipped and crumbled. For the price the quality is not what I would expect (a dinner plate costs £20). I notice the tableware is not made anywhere near Scandinavia (from a peel off label on the plate it states 'made in china' - is this item a fake?). This product is not the solid, trusted, quality from Scandinavia that I expect. Although the Nordic range is very attractive, I shall not buy any more and only put them in the bin as they chip and crumble on a monthly basis. I note that a Denby plate is about the same price and comes with a 10 year gaurantee. I still have some Denby which are +20 years old, I don't expect my Broste tableware to last 12 months.

I bought "stainless steel" Broste knives from a store called "Kajas Designhus" here in Arendal, Norway. They rusted in two months, and the seller (called Kaja, surprise surprise) has no intention of getting them back or crediting me! These are not cheap, I paid thousands of kroners for them... I strongly recommend against the brand and their seller location!

I recently bought a set of Broste Sandvik plates #brostecopenhagen from Things I Like in Bridport. Used some of them twice and they are badly marked. They were discounted and the information on them said that as they are a 'delicately porcelain glaze' porcelain they will show marks more readily than a normal porcelain giving a more rustic look' You ARE NOT KIDDING.. it looks like Jeremy Clarkson has brake tested a mini sports car all over them. Delicate they are indeed. The rustic charm they refer to is far from charming..just messy.
Shop won't refund and advised. It's not their fault as they will lose out financially and they did offer discount on another range. They advised 'All over the display were product information cards printed by Broste telling you about this range. his Sandvik information does state that with soft porcelain like this, marks can happen and are not considered to be imperfections. Regardless of this, the marks do not render the plate not fit for purpose as it is still a plate.I spoke to Broste about this and they feel that the information was clear'.
So be warned if you buy this range, paper plates may be a better investment. Broste, can you take the plates back and at least give me a credit. Thank You
