We had a garage built in 1969 that had slumped rendering the garage door unable to be opened. The team of Joe and Jamie did an efficient, successful and friendly job.

Russell Sino, the structural engineer who visited my property, is an absolute asset to the company. I walked with him area by area as he gave me expert and invaluable descriptions of exactly what was visually observed. I was extremely pleased with his knowledge, professionalism and advice on how to address my issues. Thank you Russell for your kindness and I highly recommend Buildfix!

I was sceptical from the first quote I got, that any of these resin-based foundation underpinning companies would genuinely attempt to lift my property to restore it to anything like level.

After all, their business model provides no apparent incentive to go beyond stabalising the foundation. As soon as the house starts to lift, they put themselves at higher risk of causing damage, so why would they do more?

Even their marketing, while promising to stabalise foundations, expressly states that they provide no guarantee on lifting your property, which of course is understandable.

Added to this, they apparently had a new CRM system and a key staff member away, leaving both internal and external communication less than optimal. That's where my criticism ends.

Their quote was provided by a structural engineer, Bruno, who patiently provided comprehensive responses to all my follow-up questions, which were many. Eventually, when pushed, he gave me an estimate that he expected a property such as mine to be lifted 70-100% of the subsidence amount, but with no guarantee of course.

Andy came to inspect my services infrastructure prior to the job being undertaken and again, he very patiently answered all my queries. He also highlighted that avoiding reputational damage
is the driver of ambition to achieve the optimal result. They need positive reviews to support their business model. Makes sense.

Jordan led the job, with Sam providing capable support. They had no apparent problem with my being consistently in their face asking what they were doing at various stages, as the process was a little different than I had expected, but completely understandable with explanation and most effective.

To my surprise, they not only lifted my property, they achieved as close to a 100% result as I could have reasonably hoped for. They lifted one corner 2mm less than optimally needed (52mm) and the other corner 1mm more than needed (32mm). Pretty damn close!

To achieve this, they used a significant amount of resin (350 litres odd), which made their policy of providing unlimited resin to achieve the desired outcome, included in the (very competetive) fixed price quote, very welcome.

I don't usually provide reviews, unless I feel I have something of value to say. In this case, I'm very happy to recommend Buildfix and particularly Jordan, Sam, Andy and Bruno, who did such a great job from start to finish. An honourable mention to Irene also, who picked up the ball on communications upon her return to work.

Kurt and his team were very friendly and had excellent communication. They did a great job explaining what they were doing and the expectations around the install. They were careful when walking through the house to not track dirt all over the floor (which was hard with the heavy rain and mud they had to work in at the time). They cleaned up the outside of the house as well despite the bad weather. The final outcome of the install was great too. Very happy. All round very impressed with the care and attentiveness provided. This is the second time we have used these guys.

Buildfix were so professional. The engineer Bruno who came out was amazing and explained the process clearly. Kurt and the team that did the install work did a great job. They cleaned up afterwards and achieved the results I was hoping. You also get a great warrenty.

Predo, the structural engineer, is very professional and knowledgeable. When he came to level the house, he clearly explained the causes and effects of all the cracks around the property. His explanations were easy to understand and gave us confidence in the work being done, which was a big reason we chose this company.

They also arranged for their plumber, Andy, to come and check all the pipes before the injection work started. Andy was very professional and did a great job, giving us peace of mind that everything was checked properly beforehand.

Although my scheduled date was initially missed due to their system being updated during the Christmas and New Year period, they quickly rescheduled it and handled the situation urgently.

Predo also made time to come over on the injection day to help Sam and Ryan and ensure everything was done properly. He even assisted during the injections, which really showed his dedication and commitment to the job.

Sam and Ryan were also punctual and explained every step of the process clearly, which we really appreciated.

After the work was completed, some of the injected product appeared outside. The team quickly arranged for Jordan to come over to clean it up and make everything look neat and tidy again.

A very professionsl company and specialised teams to deal with. Starting with the structual engineer Chris that explained what needed to be rectified and provided the detailed quotes. Jack and team done my foundation injection and stabilisation. The second team George Kyle and Luke did the wall crack repairs and reinforcing. Both teams provided detailed updates when work in progress and were neat and tidy to clean up. Very happy with the company and the whole process.

The whole experience was very professional and smooth from start to finish. From the assessment with Chris , a structural engineer , who was very knowledgeable, giving us valuable advice and helping to get us started. We had 2 seperate jobs, for subsidence and wall crack repair. Both teams carried out their jobs with professionalism talking us through the procedure , doing a great job and cleaning up. First job done by Jack and team . Second job by George and Luke , who sent me before and after photos and keeping me updated while I was at work. All workers were polite , professional and easy to talk to. Irene in the office made follow up calls after the jobs

Sam and Mike were fantastic when working on my home , underpinning went excellent , they are professional, friendly , punctual and reliable. Thru explained each step of the process along the way. Done a magnificent of my home.

Working with Buildfix has been a very satisfying experience. All of the team have been very easy to communicate with. Everyone was punctual and communicated arrival times well ahead of arrival so that we are able to plan our days.
Bruno who first did the assessment was very informative, explained the process really well and was happy to answer all our questions. Then Andy who came to check for underground pipes etc, again explained everything as he was going along and was happy to answer our endless questions.
On the day, Jordan and Sam showed us all the steps, explained everything in layman's terms and showed us the progress. We had a 25mm lift and were given a time-lapse video showing the movement. Very cool!!
We are very happy with the results and would recommend Buildfix without reservation.
