Great company, great team. Nothing too much trouble. Highly recommended.

The team and particularly the leader Pavol wrapped and removed 30 years of furniture and belongings from 4 floors They were skilful. resourceful ,friendly and very helpful including assisting us(90 and 83) in loading some items in our car
They were able to do despite their reserved parking space being unlawfully blocked
This is the third time CT have moved us and every time they have been excellent This has made moving much less stressful than it could have been for which we are very grateful

I have had several moves with Cadogan Tate to date and always felt I am getting my money's worth. They are considered an expensive, premium service but in my experience they have been definitely premium in service but actually quite competitive with other similar providers and always worth every penny. Special thanks to Ali and his team for our most recent move and to Gemma for running point at the office. I won't hesitate to call CT for any of my future relocation needs!

Simon and Maciek were so friendly and efficient and dealt with a few unforeseen problems very well. They arrived when they said they would and packed everything carefully and were even nice to my cat!

I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. It has been almost 4 months and my items have not arrived yet. I was told that shipping would take 6-8 weeks and the items did not even leave the UK for 2 months. They are supposed to be coming to Nigeria. They are currently in South Africa (a quick look at an atlas might make you wonder why a sea freight journey to Nigeria has to first go past Nigeria to South Africa before making its way [back?] to Nigeria). In this time, the communication has been terrible. I only receive responses when I copy in senior staff into the emails. Everytime I am given an estimated arrival window, I am forced to chase myself when the day comes and goes and I have no update. Colleagues of mine who have moved further distances have, and left well after me, are already receiving their items. Family members who shipped their items with separate companies received their containers weeks ago. Meanwhile, I am being told that my items are in South Africa, i.e. further away from me than its original point of departure... in the opposite direction. I can tell already that there won't be any compensation but to be honest even a full refund of the almost £10,000 paid for this would not make up for the inconvenience of not having access to a life's worth of belongings for over 4 months. Be like my colleagues -- use someone else.

I received very good service from CT. Fragile objects were well wrapped and packaged and the team of three were polite and professional, working hard to complete the move in one day.

Very smooth experience from initial survey to understand my needs through to moving day. Barry who ran the delivery team was very professional, made me feel like I was in safe hands. The whole crew worked tirelessly in the pouring rain to get me into my new home. With everything back in place and intact. Excellent service

The team who helped us move ,could not have been more helpful, they went above and beyond. They made what could have been a stressful experience more pleasant.
Everything we had was packed with care, at the end the pantechnicon truck was filled to the brim. The whole process took 2.5 days and the crew stayed overnight at a local hotel.

Fantastic service, made an enquire for collection of furniture to be stored for 1 night and returned the following day, they promptly arrived and handled everything with care and protected everything. Couldn’t have been happier

We moved with Cadogan Tate from a four-bedroom to a five-bedroom over two days. They were very careful with fragile items, did not scratch walls and listened carefully to our instructions. They also picked up the empty boxes after we unpacked and apparently they use a compactor, which was great for us and the environment. Strongly recommend. Special mention to Tracy who is the office contact on the phone after booking the move - excellent customer service skills.

We had the best possible experience with the whole team of Nabil, Lee, Robbie and Tom. They were so lovely throughout, nothing was a problem, and they packed and moved everything with such care. I would highly recommend to anyone! Thank you again for making what could have been a stressful experience so smooth and easy!

The human factor was the highlight of my experience with Cadogan Tate, very nice people from the commercial agent and project manager to the guys who handled the heavy lifting. Yet, communication was not always easy, I had to chase many times to get information and the delivery date changed multiple times. I had to be very hands-on to get things moving in the right direction, not to mention I managed to get an earlier delivery by calling the driver myself (!). That being said, if you do not mind the stress of last-minute organisational changes, I also recommend the company for their care of my belongings which were meticulously packed and arrived safely.

One of my high-profile clients needed reassurance that his belongings at his London home in Kensington were in good hands to be delivered to Manchester. Without hesitation I recommended Cadogan Tate. Sam Gray was quick, efficient and only too happy to help. They did a great job and my client was delighted with their service, communication and friendliness. Nothing was too much trouble. Amazing service! Guys arrived on time, look after all our stuff as it was theirs with no single item broken in the entire moving and in 3 hours we had all in place in the new house!

I have now used Cadogan Tate in many different occasion. They have done large move of 7-9 bedroom homes and have always been meticulously careful to never damage anything or scratch a wall. Even in very difficult setting they have proven their hability to do their job. The back office team is extremely nice and understanding.

They are always on time and their movers keep a smile and are very respectful. In stressful times of moving homes I could t think of anyone else but Cadogan Tate.

Also they are excellent for storage. I have kept my items with them for over 7 years and everything was delivered in perfect condition.

**Cadogan Tate - June July 24

Our first experience with Tate in September 2023, during a domestic move, was a resounding success. Consequently, we chose to engage Tate for the second part of our move—this time, an international relocation. Unfortunately, this subsequent experience did not meet our expectations.

Phase 1 London :
We opted for the Grouping-Degrouping service. The preparation of our move in London was subpar. Here are the key issues we encountered:

- Despite clearly communicating that we had a substantial number of books, we were provided with boxes that were too large, the boxes became too heavy, necessitating repacking by the Cadogan team on the day of the move.

- We were informed by a member of the Tate Commercial Team that it was our responsibility to complete a line-by-line inventory with values, and that no assistance would be provided in determining these values. We diligently completed and submitted the inventory a day before collection, only to be told on the day of the move by a different Tate representative that Tate would handle the inventory and valuation—a complete waste of our time.

- Only two Tate staff members were assigned to the job, instead of the agreed-upon three. It quickly became apparent that they were overwhelmed. Despite calling many times for additional support, and being reassured that « help was on the way « nothing happened till late in the day .

The only similarity to our previous positive experience was the hard work and dedication of the team on the ground. They did their best to salvage the situation but were let down by the office.

Overall, there was poor planning, inadequate manpower, inconsistent communication, contradictory statements from the office, and too many people involved, leading to a dilution of responsibility. The timeline we were promised (9 am to 4 pm) was not respected, causing unnecessary stress and work for us.

**Phase 2 - France**

The second phase of the move was to take place in France, and it proved to be an ongoing challenge to determine when the shipment would arrive. We were informed on Thursday, July 25th, that the shipment would arrive during the week starting July 29th. We confirmed our availability, with the exception of July 31st—ironically, the only date that was offered to us. There was no flexibility provided.

It became a struggle to obtain the next possible delivery date. Fortunately, thanks to the persistent efforts of our Move Coordinator, we finally received a confirmed date August 12th .
The unloading, unpacking, and disposal of packaging materials were handled smoothly, and the team on the ground, led by Michel, was excellent.

In Summary:

- Poor commercial/sales preparation, marked by confusion and incoherence.
- Competent support from the Move Coordinatore
- Excellent team on the ground.

While CT service in London was impeccable, the French part of my move was handled by subcontractors who were substandard. This led to damage to furniture and a lot of confusion regarding the delivery of my piano. Eventually, the insurance covered the damage and the piano was sorted after a protracted insurance claim process. Check your contract for terms of delivery abroad.
