Jacket itself wasn't bad but i had to send it back for refund for being larger on sleeves, even medium wouldn't have been good size. Its been 2 weeks since i sent the jacket back (11th Dec) through Royal Mail which i checked was delivered on (12th Dec) and signed. I've spoken to caine twice (15th Dec) he told me if i've checked the item was delivered and i told him it was after 2nd call on that day. I called back on (18th Dec) and he told me he'll check the warehouse and then refund email gets sent, but he didn't get in touch. I know they had Christmas holidays but my jacket was sent wel before that time frame. It shouldn't take that long atleast if they emailed me kept me informed that would've been good. There refund policy is within 5 days after the products been received. I've left a message through email today see what happens!

I purchased a leather coat from this company. It's often recommended as a good quality, lower budget alternative for those wanting a decent leather jacket. An "in-between" for those who don't want £10 Primark crap, but also don't have the funds for a £700+ designer jacket.

The order process was easy, and the product arrived 2 days after my purchase on a Sunday. I can't fault their speed of delivery. The measurements on their website are accurate, and the product fit. I am an XS mens and I struggle to find clothes small enough, but this genuinely was a good size for me.

However- the quality of the items they sell is quite poor. The parcel I received was incredibly light for a leather coat, and the clothing was very thin. I expected better than this considering I paid over £300.
The label on the product was "bleu leather" and the clothes tag had typos on it. There were many examples of shoddy stitching, and it overall just felt like a cheap chinese item.

I have since returned this item and gotten a refund, and this process was also straightforward, as the product came with a returns label and form.

I would recommend that others search for a vintage jacket, or simply save up an extra few hundred and spend their money elsewhere.

I found Caine Leather absolutely first class that included the product I wished to purchase, the advice I received in a ‘phone call and the speed of delivery.

Excellent service from Caine Leather. I spoke to them regarding sizes and they were absolutely spot on, the jacket fits like it's made to measure.

The quality of the jacket is one of the best that I've come across, soft leather and nicely finished with good hardware etc.

The ordering process was easy and Caine Leather kept me posted from ordering to dispatch. I ordered around 12pm on a Monday and the jacket arrived around 10am on the Wednesday of the same week (less than 48 hours in other words).

I heard good things about Caine, and decided to get the black Chemnitz leather jacket as it is exactly what I am looking for. As I am not living in the UK I had to be extra careful to get my size correct. I measured, and even took pictures of myself in a correctly sized leather jacket and sent to them (EU 52) I corresponded with their customer service to double and triple check that the size is correct for me. They insisted on the fact that 2XL was the correct size for me, which I found to be an odd size for someone who usually uses L. But hey, trust the experts am I right?

No. The jacket arrived and after having payed customs I opened the box, eager to put on my new black leather jacket, only to find that it fit me like a bedouin tent.

I sent it in return which cost me 40 euro. All in all I payed 100 euro to receive and send the jacket in return.

Caine Leather refuses to split the bill on this, even though they were the ones to blame for the whole thing. But here is what Caine had to say about the matter:

"The jacket you returned was sized correctly.

This is one of our best selling sheepskins.

We understand that it may not have fitted you in the way you envisioned, but to re-iterate we do not have an issue with the sizing."

Why would I go through all this trouble if it didn't fit me? Still they insist on that it should fit me! I regret not taking a picture.

I hear they are reselling cheaper brands for a higher price anyway.

Bought a molton sheepskin coat which arrived just before Christmas last year so I have had it for one winter. Started wearing it this winter and am disappointed with the quality of the stitching. The buttons have come loose and had to be restricted. Also stitching came loose on one of the cuffs and had to be redone. When I called customer service not very helpful. Said I had to post it back and cover the cost. Considering the cost of the coat not very happy with the attitude or finishing of the garment

Ordered the jacket around midday and knocked out that it dropped through my door the following day.
The jacket is unbelievably warm and looks really stylish, a real weather beater.

Was really worried about ordering especially as I am very fussy with jackets.
I did order wrong size but returns were so easy and replacement jacket arrived within a couple of days. And I am really happy with the quality of the jacket

Hi, just bought a green suede jacket from yourselves. Jacket is excellent, great colour and quality. Only suggestion would be for metal buttons that don’t rattle as much. Otherwise I’m absolutely delighted with my purchase.

I ordered a toscana leather jacket for my partner for a surprise and then thought I’d get myself a sheepskin bomber jacket for myself.
Unfortunately I was advised by Ian that my partners size was unavailable and a refund was immediately given. I thought about it and decided to cancel the order for my jacket as well as it was supposed to be a surprise for my missus. Ian on the spot refunded the rest of the order without a fuss. A true gentleman. A very happy future customer from Australia as I will definitely be dealing with this honest man and his company again!

Awful customer service and cheap leather jackets

Received my jacket within 3 days of ordering...superb quality & the fit/size is perfect....Real leather with great stitching & zips....highly recommend

I'm really pleased with my jacket and the service I received. They responded promptly and politely to each of my questions - nothing was too much trouble.

The jacket supplied was of excellent quality leather, and the service to slightly shorten the sleeves was first class, and well within the 2 weeks timescale quoted.
The company is easy to communicate with -they respond very quickly to emails. Once you buy a Caine Leather garment, you will never buyer a cheaper (and poorer quality) one elsewhere.

Communication was fantastic. Swift delivery, a wonderful customer experience and I love the Jacket.

Would I reccomend them? ABSOLUTELY

I purchased a Salcombe Sheepskin Jacket online. It has arrived to Hungary on the 6th day after I ordered it, much sooner than I expected. Before I placed the order I called Customer service to help me choose the right size. They gave me great advise. The jacket is of high quality and fits perfectly. Thank you!
