I had a wonderful experience, trying on all the amazing dresses the staff are wonderful and very friendly people would definitely recommend.

I had such a lovely experience at Cambridge Bridal Studio. Lynne was welcoming, kind and so supportive when I tried on dresses. She picked out an amazing set based on our conversations, and I felt like she was really attentive to what I liked or what made me feel comfortable/confident.

I managed to find a beautiful dress and Lynne brought out the perfect accessories to go with it! I was so pleased I was smiling all day after. Would highly recommend.

My new daughter-In-Law and I visited Lynne at the end of December ahead of her wedding in February.

From our arrival Lynne couldn't have done more to put Ruby at ease and helped her find the most beautiful, perfect dress that certainly stood out from the rest.

She arranged for the dress to be altered to fit perfectly and gave me a step by step guide so that I could fasten the lacing on the day.

Ruby and I will always be grateful to her for her help and support, not least an email on the day of the wedding sending her best wishes for their future.

Interesting how there were negative reviews about this bridal studio as far back as 2017, yet the owner only decided to respond years later on November 25. Even more interesting that multiple negative reviews from different years all magically received replies on the exact same date. That doesn’t come across as genuine customer care — it comes across as damage control. If these concerns were truly important, they would’ve been addressed when they were raised, not dusted off years later to clean up an online image. Feels reactive, performative, and frankly a bit suspicious.

From the very start Lynne was amazing, she asked all the right questions to help me find my perfect dress. Would recommend Cambridge Bridal Studio to any bride to be.

Lynne was lovely. Really nice and positive. The experience was a much much higher standard than I was expecting. The room and dresses were luxurious, the best quality I had tried by far. The best things was that they were mostly plus size and every dress fit perfectly! Definitely the place for plus sized brides to go to feel special and taken care of!

So many options of dresses to try on to help you find the style you like - also lots of accessories to pick from.

Dresses are made to fit you! So are totally bespoke which is perfect!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Fun, Supportive & Totally Personalised Experience for a Gothic/Alternative Bride

I recently visited this bridal studio to choose my wedding dress for my October 2026 wedding, and I genuinely had such a fun, relaxed, and memorable experience. I’m not the easiest person to pin down when it comes to describing what I want, and my wedding party are made up of strong-willed Tauruses with very firm opinions — but Lynn stayed calm, patient, and kind throughout the entire appointment.

I’m also a gothic, alternative bride, so a lot of the details I wanted were far from traditional. This definitely added a bit of extra pressure to get everything just right, but Lynn embraced the challenge with such enthusiasm. We ended up creating a completely customised gown, from swapping fabrics and changing the silhouette to adding and removing unique details that truly made the dress mine.

What really impressed me is that even after the appointment, Lynn has continued to make the experience personal and reassuring. She’s been sending me update photos from the seamstresses as they work on the custom elements, which has made me feel so involved and excited about the process. And for all of that, the price was exceptional — £1,600 for a bespoke, non-traditional gown is amazing value.

I haven’t received the finished dress yet, but I already feel confident, supported, and genuinely seen in my vision as an alternative bride.

If I were to make one small suggestion, it would be the offer of a welcome drink on arrival — a glass of Prosecco or even a cup of tea would make the experience feel even more special. But with more appointments ahead, there’s plenty of opportunity for that, and I’m more than happy to bring my own refreshments next time to celebrate properly!

Overall, Lynn turned what could have been a stressful, overwhelming process into something fun, personal, and unforgettable. I can’t recommend this bridal studio enough — especially if you’re a bride with a unique style or big ideas.

I was met by Lynne, the owner. My daughter also attended. My daughter had previously purchased her wedding dress from Cambridge Bridal Studio. I knew the service would be professional, friendly and comfortable.

I visited several bridal shops in the area because I wanted a dress and shoes that fit me perfectly. I’m definitely not a six-foot stick insect like all the models in the pictures, so finding the right fit mattered! At Cambridge Bridle Studio, I never felt rushed. I spent a good few hours trying things on and debating the all-important question: “Does my bum look big in this?”
Lynn was amazing. She helped me choose a dress off the peg that suited my body shape rather than what I thought might suit me. I had a few alterations done, and when I finally put it on, it felt like the dress had been made just for me. And the shoes — she even arranged to have them dyed to match the dress, which I was absolutely thrilled with.
Needless to say, my day went beautifully. The dress was a hit — not just with my husband (still getting used to saying that!), but with my family and friends too.

I saw the Cambridge bridal studio at a wedding show and thought they had some lovely dresses.
I booked an appointment and had a wonderful experience when I went. I didn't want a traditional white gown as I wanted something with colour and they had a large selection. I tried on about 8 different gowns ranging in colour and choose my gown from that selection. The care that I received was lovely and they could do the full service including make up and hair.
I had full communication all the way through buying and alterations and picking up my gown afterwards.
I would definitely recommend this bridal store.

My first impression when I got into the shop was that I was extremely impressed with the choice. Several bridal shops I went to did not have anything even similar to what I wanted.

I had a rather short time frame to work with and they were great she worked with me to get me a dress within my budget and timeframe and the quality was to die for.
