Wir hatten auch dieses Mal wieder eine hervorragende Erfahrung mit Caravel! Die Buchung verlief unkompliziert, die Kommunikation war schnell und freundlich und die Fahrzeugübergabe sowie Rückgabe liefen völlig reibungslos. Das Auto war sauber, gepflegt und während unseres gesamten Urlaubs absolut zuverlässig.

Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den ausgezeichneten Kundenservice. Das gesamte Team ist herzlich, professionell und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Es gibt keine versteckten Kosten und alles läuft genau wie vereinbart.

Wir mieten mittlerweile bereits zum sechsten Mal ein Auto bei Caravel – das spricht für sich. Wir wurden noch nie enttäuscht und würden jederzeit wieder hier buchen. Vielen Dank für den großartigen Service! Absolute Empfehlung für alle, die auf Kreta ein zuverlässiges Mietauto suchen.

Service was flawless I got picked up from my hotel.

Let op! Kijk hoeveel benzine er nog inzit! De tank was bij mij "toevallig" leeg! Auto wordt dus niet standaard geleverd met een volle tank.
Ook wordt altijd de duurste verzekering geadviseerd......

L'auto che ci è stata consegnata era una Panda nuovissima e fin qui tutto bene. Avevo la copertura casco SENZA FRANCHIGIA come sottoscritto al ritiro dell'auto. Nel viaggio di ritorno verso l'aeroporto ho lievemente urtato contro una roccia il sottogonna dell'auto. Morale 230 euro seduta stante se non volevo perdere l'aereo. Varie mail di reclamo ogni volta contrastanti che a nulla sono valse. Fate ATTENZIONE a questo autonoleggio che francamente NON consiglio.

The car was in great condition and it was really clear. The booking process was easy and the service was all right, everybody was friendly and fast.

La veille, nous passons à l’agence pour réserver une Fiat 500 hybride. La voiture est affichée à 14 € par jour, mais le devis établi est de 160 € pour 6 jours. Nous comprenons donc que ce montant inclut forcément des suppléments par rapport au prix affiché. C’est précisément pour cette raison que nous demandons à plusieurs reprises si les 160 € correspondent bien au prix total et définitif, avec l’assurance tous risques, sans franchise, sans caution par carte bancaire et sans aucun supplément à payer lors de la remise du véhicule.

Nous expliquons même que ce n’est pas notre première location en Crète et que nous connaissons les pratiques consistant à demander une carte de crédit ou à proposer une assurance supplémentaire au moment du retrait. Le vendeur nous confirme très clairement que les 160 € comprennent tout. Rassurés, nous laissons un acompte de 20 €.

Le lendemain, en venant récupérer la voiture, nous sommes accueillis par une autre personne, Georges. Et là, changement complet de discours : il exige une caution de 1 000 €, ou alors il faut payer 240 € supplémentaires pour bénéficier d’une assurance sans franchise. C’est exactement le scénario que nous avions pris soin d’écarter la veille.

Nous refusons de payer ce supplément. Georges s’énerve, hausse le ton et appelle son patron. Finalement, il nous remet malgré tout une Hyundai i10 de plus de 15 ans, dans un état lamentable : carrosserie très abîmée et surtout un freinage défectueux.
Nous avons eu le sentiment que, pour obtenir la Fiat 500 hybride réservée, il aurait fallu accepter de payer les 240 € supplémentaires, soit près de 400 € pour 6 jours, ce qui n’était absolument pas l’accord conclu lors de la réservation.

En revanche, son attitude était particulièrement désagréable et intimidante. Il a fallu rester ferme et ne pas céder à la pression.

En lisant les réponses de l’agence aux avis négatifs, nous avons remarqué qu’elle affirme souvent que les clients se trompent d’établissement. Ce n’est absolument pas notre cas : nous sommes certains de parler de cette agence CARAVEL à Hersonissos

Notre conseil : faites confirmer noir sur blanc le prix final avant de verser un acompte et ne vous laissez pas impressionner si les conditions changent au moment du retrait.

The rental process was very quick. The car was filled with fuel and cleaned perfectly. The technical condition was excellent. I recommend it.

With the car we rented from Caravel we were able to visit all the tourist attractions we wanted to see.
The rental process was easy and fast. The location was easy to find and very close to Chania Airport. Friendly staff. We were driving away in 5 minutes!

Auto mimo ,że miało już swoje lata to automat na te drogi to najlepsze wyjście. Małe w miarę zrywne dało radę nawet na drogach stromych wzniesień.

Very easy and smooth communication from the start. NIce car, good rates, very good customer care . THey were very kind to provide a car at a different time of what booked months before because the time of my flight was anticipated at the last moment , Even if notified late by me They were perfectly good in renting the car at the right time.

Celý proces zapůjčení i vráceni auta proběhl bez problémů. Půjčovna je v docházkové vzdálenosti od letiště. V půjčovně byli velice ochotní a milí, zodpověděli nám všechny dotazy. Při vrácení auta nás dovezli dokonce na letiště. Vytknout mohu jedině to, že zapůjčené auto bylo jiné značky, než kterou jsem rezervovala.

Such an easy process. Arrived to desk, filled out a couple of forms and we’re on our way with everything explained perfectly and great service from the man at the desk. Then dropped car back after a week and handed the keys over and that was it with no hassle. Price, process and service all couldn’t have been better

Everything was well organized, the car served us well, the employee was kind and helpful, we even received a gift of an umbrella, a diving mask and a water worm for the children.
