Earlier experience of Carpetright and another recent purchase of new carpet and underlay have all confirmed our view that the company offers good value and provides clear and reliable information. Those working for it have been friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and efficient.

This is my first time leaving a one-star review. I purchased carpeting for the entire house and LVT flooring for the bathroom and hallway from this store, along with their installation services. Because the installation was done in multiple phases, we paid the installation personnel directly the amounts they stated when the carpet was installed. However, when it came time to install the LVT, we discovered that the amount paid did not match the total in the contract. Upon contacting the store's customer service, we were told that we had overpaid the carpet installers and that they would ask the carpet installers to refund the excess amount. It has now been over 40 days, and we still have not received the refund.

Additionally, during the installation of the hallway LVT, the job was left incomplete due to the lack of scotia beading. The installers only laid the flooring and then left, claiming that they needed to order the materials to finish the installation. From May 30th to June 21st, we received no updates. It was only after I emailed to inquire about the parts that I was informed they had arrived and that the installers would contact me to complete the installation. However, as of July 12th, I have not received any contact. I am extremely disappointed with their service and strongly recommend that others think twice before choosing this company for their products and services.

We've always used Carpetright, they have never faulted to deliver a 5* service! On this occasion I only required a new stairs carpet, despite it not being the biggest order I was treated to an exceptional service, from advice and help in the showroom through to installation. Very professional and a great range of products.

Ordered to fit laminate on two bedrooms. When fitter did lamination work, he found that bidding are different colour, not matching at all. Phoned Carpet Right to do correct colour bidding which they have promise to deliver and fit within 2 weeks, but here now more than 8 months still not fitted. Made many calls to store (Solihull) and visited personally to sort this out, but still no sign. Also tried to call Customer service but they are equally useless.

So basically they dont care what they are ordering i.e. bidding should have been ordered with same colour as laminate as its part of same order. And if mistakes happened rectify as quick as possible.
Do not buy from them as your project can get delayed, if things not gone ok first time.
I am not going to use in future as now I think its not carpetRight but is CarpetWrong comapny.

Terrible service from start to finish. System was down for days, could not order carpet for days, nobody can use a pen, paper and calculator! Order complete, paid for carpet. Day before Monday fitting, get a call to advise carpet not in warehouse.....room cleared, furniture in hallway, visitors arriving Tuesday 14th...no carpet. Informed by Lee at Solihull Retail Park store he would call Monday to update. Had to call Lee in store, by 3.30pm I had not heard from him. Told that carpet not available for another week. ORDER CANCELLED AND REQUESTED REFUND.

Ordered a lounge carpet for the lounge from the Solihull store, the manager was very patient whilst we chose a colour, in the end I asked if we could take 3 samples of different colours back to my mums to digest and think over. We picked the Emperor 435 Lt green, I returned the samples and placed the order for my mum, I also asked if he could do anything with the price for which he gave us a reasonable saving by doin so.
Credit where credits due this was excellent service and wouldn’t hesitate to use again to replace other flooring.

The guy (Gary) who came out to measure was very professional and seemed to able to give impartial advice. Later, in the shop the two gentlemen who served us battled with the IT systems to get us exactly what we needed. Very helpful indeed.

This was my second large order to Carpetright, the first was circa 15 years ago when they carpeted my present house. They gave great service then too and the carpet still looked in great condition after 15 years that I decided I would use them again for my new house.
Carpetright gave a great price and fantastic service for carpeting my new house. They handled issues without quibling. I would definitely recommend them to anyone considering carpets for their home.

the staff were extremely helpful and efficient. They dealt with all my queries and were extremely polite and friendly despite me having a number of questions and also having an issue with some vouchers. Lee and Gabby were particularly helpful and accommodating.

We went to the Shirley branch of Carpet Right to order some flooring. We spoke to staff member Lee who was very helpful and knowledgeable about the products available to us. We were very impressed with the service. Would highly recommend.

I recently had oak vinyl flooring fitted in our entrance hall and downstairs cloak room. The fitter working for Carpetright did not use the correct transition strip between the vinyl flooring and carpeting in the doorway of one of the rooms off the entrance hall. I have been
in to the Carpetright showroom twice over the past week with photos to show them the problem and on each occasion they have promised that the fitter would contact me and rectify the problem. This however has not happened!
