Our experience was made so easy by the lovely lady that served us. She had a lot of patience with us as you know it’s difficult choosing flooring. Deeksha made our time in the shop simple. She very helpful and we left with exactly what we wanted

MASSIVE GDPR BREACH!!

So it would appear that Magda in the Worcester branch has not had appropriate training on how to manage peoples data, after just receiving an email cc'd into a list of people, all of their email addresses visible for all to see. In this day and age not only is this highly illegal, but completely irresponsible.

You are legally required to ensure ALL staff understand the importance of this, and clearly have not done.

Be careful about giving your information to Carpet Right!!

FOLLOW UP - then, after reporting this to the branch we received ANOTHER email requesting to recall the original email, but again it was addressed to everyone on the original list, so a second breach - I have still not received the call back from the manager that I was promised..

I went to carpet right to take a look at what was on offer ,for my house which l have recently moved to ,l was meet with a warm welcome and a smile from Deeksha .she was ready to advise on suitable carpet .l didn't order today ,but left after ordering 4 samples to be sent to me ,and the confidence to return. Thank you, Deekha, for being so helpful even though there was no order today

Ordered bathroom vinyl. A bit surprised to discover that fitting arrangement charge and make it easy package came to over £60. Also found same vinyl elsewhere for half the price. Friendly helpful staff. Three week wait for fitting appointment.

Laura and Charlotte have been most helpful even when system has been down.

Then Shaun the surveyor was top notch. Efficient, knew the products inside out & very patient & friendly.
Finally going into our local store to pay & place our order we encountered Laura. Nothing was too much trouble. She went 'out back' to find a sample & double checked everything on the order form.
We have our fingers crossed that the fitting & final appearance will be just as successful.
First time we have used Carpetright & have our eyes on other projects as the prices seem very keen.

We had a surveyor out in October last year to inspect and quote our living room carpet for replacement, we were quoted as such and were happy with the price. We finally went ahead in Feb of this year (after taking a while to decide on the colour of the new carpet), visited the Worcester store, the quote was updated due to the time elapsed and the fitting was booked for March 20th.

Fitter arrived on the planned day and, after pulling up part of the existing carpet, stated he did not have the correct equipment.

He tried to convince my wife that, even though we had been quoted for new underlay that we should use the existing to avoid having to pull it up and potentially damage the floor; as we had paid for new underlay she declined, so he said he couldn’t complete the job and would have to speak to the store.

He left and, 3 days later and many calls to the Worcester store, we are still waiting for a solution; we have totally unusable living room and the store are telling us the job was under-quoted (despite the fact one of their own surveyors came out and assessed the job with his own eyes) and we need to pay an additional £590!

Tom from the Worcester store is trying to help but the service is very very poor. Would not recommend Carpetright. We’re seriously considering cancelling the order and going with Tapi or a local independent alternative.

We ordered the Rhino Classic Oak Metalic Vinyl for kitchen and utility room, the fitting service was excellent, provided by Phil. However, despite being most careful when installing the appliances, the vinyl was very easily damaged by the feet, so I would not recommend it for areas where heavy appliances are being used. I would suggest it is not straight forward when comparing Carpetright prices with other vendors because of the add on costs, which are not clear when choosing the product. i.e. on a total sale price of £508.98, was included Fitting service administration £29.19, despite the fact we paid the fitter directly; Making it Easy Package £39.99, whatever that is supposed to mean??

Good selection of flooring at reasonable prices and very knowledgeable staff.

Ordered a roll off cut for £229.00 and brought a rug £29.99! Total came to just over of £400 plus an additional £82 for fitting! I queried how it was possible so the guy went through the pricing! The carpet had gone up £60, the rug was charged at £50. He reduced the prices as they should be and it was still over so I queried the price again….. he then said, there is a charge I haven’t told you about which is an admin fee of £35.00. After much deliberation and a few exchanged words I agreed to pay a final amount! £293 plus fitting….. then…… the money was taken twice out of my bank so I go back into carpetright to show the money leaving my bank twice to be told there is nothing they can do, I have to approach my bank for ARN number so I go outside spend ages on the phone, manage to get a number go back in, then she says thanks, I now have to pass this to finance to approve which could take 15 days, and then if it gets approved you will get a cheque in the post! It’s absolutely crazy, I now have no money and there is nothing I can do but wait!! They were really unhelpful on a situation that is simply their fault not mine!! I took proof they money had gone out twice and I have to do all the work and waiting for my money back!!
