We had an outstanding experience working with CarVia for a corporate driving event in Stuttgart.

From the very first contact, their team was extremely professional, transparent and solution-oriented. In a context where other providers struggled to deliver, CarVia was always responsive, flexible and reliable.

The communication was clear, the vehicles were exactly as expected, and the overall process was smooth and efficient.

The sign up process was easy and the drop off was quick. Using off site for the first time, I was slightly anxious but all went smoothly.
Long delay after a cancelled & re-scheduled flight was no problem and our car was running and warm when we were shuttled back to it.
If I must criticize anything it's the poor interior shuttle condition. I will use them again.

Buchung und Kommunikation im Vorfeld waren sehr gut.
Leider war das Fahrzeug, das ich mieten wollte kurzfristig wegen eines Defekts nicht verfügbar, aber auch hier haben wir schnell eine Lösung gefunden.
Auch die Übergabe war sehr gut organisiert und schnell - alles "digital".
Absolute Empfehlung.

Betrifft Carvia Düsseldorf: Auch der Hinweis, dass das Fahrzeug im Parkhaus "irgendwo" abgestellt werden kann, wenn es auf der Carvia-Ebene sehr eng ist war hilfreich (war aber ein ausreichend großer Stellplatz vorhanden bei Abgabe). Schlüsseltresor für Abgabe außerhalb der Öffnungszeiten - was will man mehr?

Miguel delivered the car and did a fantastic job of explaining everything with the car and the agreement.
They also responded to my email quickly when I had a question.
We will be renting from them again.

CarVia in Frankfurt ist perfekt. Hatte am Samstag ein Fahrzeug gemietet. Einem wurde alles genau erklärt und gezeigt, extrem sympathisch gewesen. Kaution direkt am nächsten Werktag wieder erhalten sowie Übersicht der Rechnung. Perfekter Service!

I booked a GLC43, completed my payment, and everything seemed perfectly fine. Then out of nowhere, I received an email asking for my driver’s license and passport, after I had already paid. Still, I sent everything right away to keep things smooth.

A short while later, they suddenly told me the car was “not available.” No clear explanation, no alternative, nothing. Just that.

It felt strange, so I called them to ask what was going on. They said they were “checking some things,” which didn’t make sense, especially since I’ve previously rented a Porsche GT4 in Frankfurt, a much more expensive car, without a single issue or extra “checks.”

Then it got ridiculous. They called me back and said that, to approve my booking and actually get the car, I now needed to pay with my American Express card instead of my Visa.

So first the car was unavailable, and then suddenly it wasn’t,if I used a different card.

That’s when it became obvious this wasn’t about availability or payment. It was about who they thought I was after seeing my passport and license. The excuses and tone completely changed. This wasn’t random, it was racial profiling, plain and simple.

Asking for passport, drivers license and later on canceling the car but at the same time figuring out i was a customer, they changed their mind but to be 100% all was good based on their judgement, they asked to use my american express which is extremely sick and disrespectfull to asked in a situation like this.

I’ve rented cars all over Europe, Sixt or Hertz you name it, and never once been treated this way. This company clearly judges customers based on background, not booking history. It’s subtle but clear discrimination dressed up as “procedure.”

If you’re that cautious about who rents your cars, here’s a better idea: raise your prices, increase your deposit, and stop profiling people after they already paid for a booking.

Disappointing, unprofessional, and honestly, shameful in 2025. I’d strongly recommend avoiding this company if you expect to be treated equally and with basic respect.

After my payment they began asking for documents and menacing to cancel the reservation, which they canceled anyway after I provided pages of documents, for no apparent reason. Totally unreliable. They had no visible address on the website and when asked they provided reluctantly the address of a Mercedes-Benz dealership. They say the refund for the canceled rental is on the way (they won't provide refund for upsided programs and other reservations and expenses related to the canceled trip): I'm ready to sue them if it is not paid.

I rented a 718 spyder RS for a week. Pick up was easy, and no fuss. Same with drop off. Car was in great condition and didn't have any issues with it. Lucked out with the weather and got 1300 amazing km mostly with the top down. Looking forward to trying something else next time!

We recently rented three incredible vehicles from CarVia for a European road trip – a BMW M4 Competition Convertible, a Porsche Boxster Convertible, and a Porsche GT4. The experience was truly exceptional from start to finish.

The entire CarVia team was professional, responsive, and a pleasure to work with. Special thanks to Arian at the rental counter, who gave us his full attention and ensured everything was clear and smooth. At pickup, he personally accompanied us for a thorough walkaround of each vehicle, carefully documenting every small detail and cosmetic mark as per our request – something we greatly appreciated.

All the cars were in perfect condition, performed flawlessly, and added a huge amount of joy and excitement to our trip. From the initial booking to the return process, everything was well-organized and handled with care.

We truly appreciated the high level of service and personal attention we received. CarVia clearly goes the extra mile to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

Wer Sportwagen aber auch normale Autos sucht ist hier richtig. Habe mehrmals an verschiedenen Standorten gemietet und war jedes mal überrascht wie gut Service in einer Autovermietung sein kann. Wenn man nur Erfahrung mit „großen“ Vermietern hatte, dann wird man absolut Überrascht wenn man so freundlich bedient wird. Meine Emails vom Kundenservice wurden auch schnell und zufriedenstellend beantwortet.

Bei Carvia ist nix aufgesetzt wie bei den orangenen, die dir einfach nur versuchen jeden Blödsinn zu verkaufen und Umsatz zu machen.

Die Autos hatten immer einen super Zustand und waren sauberer als mein Jahreswagen, welchen ich gekauft hatte.

Ich kann es jedem empfehlen mal einen 911er zu mieten. Preis Leistung stimmt hier und ich werde weiter hier mieten!

Subsequent to my first 5 star review and my rentals i had some issues and i was dealing with their support team. It took some time and we managed to sort out my questions and issues , Ms Laurynas rose was very responsive and helpful.

Die persönliche Bedienung in der Niederlassung Stuttgart war top und unkompliziert. Es hat alles tiptop geklappt.

Rented a Porsche Boxter from CARVIA on June 11, 2025, which was picked up in Frankfurt Germany. The weather was very not during this time.

Issue 1 - Air Conditioning Not Working

June 11, 2025 - 30 minutes after driving away, the air conditioning was not working and since I had a four-hour drive to my next destination and inform them the next morning.

Nonetheless, the following day I sent an email informing them of the non-working air conditioning.

Driving Experience and Discount Request

Totally NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE in a vehicle with a non-working air conditioning system in 90-degree weather. I had to wear a long sleeve jacket while driving to prevent my arms from getting sun burnt with the top down.

CARVIA'S Response to the Non-Working AC

June 13, 2025 - CARVIA replied instructing me to take the vehicle to a repair facility. I am on vacation, and they expect me to spend my precious time to locate a repair facility for something they should have check before renting the vehicle to a customer!

Additionally, when I got back to the U.S they emailed me stating the non-working AC was related to a stone that impacted the air-con condenser while driving at high speed with a sport car. Ironically, the non-working air-con issued occurred 30 minutes after I left the rental agency, and I was way too far to return the vehicle as we were a group of three rented Porsches from CARVIA.

Issue 2 - Low Engine Oil Level

June 20, 2025 - While in Switzerland I notice that the oil level was low - not seriously low. Nonetheless, I purchased one quart of oil for $40 US to top off the oil level. This is another item that should have been checked before handing a vehicle over to a customer.

Issue 3A - Issue With Other Two Porsches We Rented

June 11, 2025 - We coordinated our Porsche rentals over a year in advance. One party requested a convertible 911 - CARVIA gave her a hardtop. They stated that was an upgrade and refused to discount the cost as we all know that a convertible cost more.

Issue 3B - Issue With Other Two Porsches We Rented

June 12, 2025 - The third Porsche we rented in our party of three had a slash on the top which was never noted as we inspected the vehicles in a very dark garage.

Overall Experience and Recommendations

Rating for CARVIA 1-5 = 2

I would not recommend renting any vehicle from CARVIA.

They do not check their vehicles before being rented thoroughly.

Any previous damages on the vehicles seem to be the fault of the customer. Hence, they take no responsibility or accountability.

The vehicles are not cleaned properly.

Warning to prospective customers -
A - inspect the vehicle outdoors in the sunlight.
B - check every system from window switches, air conditioning, wheels, tires, scratches, windshields, convertible tops, all light lenses and the entire interior, etc.

Lastly, we tried to rent the vehicles from Porsche directly, but they could not guarantee the vehicles we wanted. Hence, CARVIA accommodated on two at the time of rental even though we scheduled our rentals a year in advance.

Endlich eine professionelle Autovermietung der man vertrauen kann. Ich habe den 992.2. Carrera im Juni über ein Wochenende gemietet und würde es jederzeit wieder machen. Das Team war super freundlich, man bekommt genau das Modell welches man auf der Website sieht und nach wenigen Sekunden war immer jemand auch telefonisch zu erreichen und konnte mir direkt weiterhelfen. Die Anlieferung und Abgabe funktionierten einwandfrei. Das für diesen Preis ist unschlagbar. Viel besser als andere Anbieter. Kann ich jedem nur herzlich empfehlen, der Lust auf gut gepflegte Mietwagen und verlässlichen Service hat.

Leider absoluter Schmutz. Ziehen Geld ein! Vorsicht scam. Keine Debitkarten nur Kreditkarten um Kaution zu kassieren
