On July 18, 2025 we bought 2016 Peugeot 108 for £3995.00 from Central Garages.

After 3 1/2 months and 2000 miles the clutch started making a squealing sound. I contacted our sales person Richard Jarvis and got no reply.

I took it to a local Nottingham garage and £750 later we have a new clutch. While this was barely past their 3 month warranty it was quite frustrating to have such an expensive repair needed especially with no reply from Richard.

Beware.

We had a very poor experience with this garage. Within days of buying a car from them, we reported an engine noise and raised the issue a number of times afterwards. The car was returned to them several times for investigation, but nothing was ever done to resolve it. Less than a year after purchase, despite being reassured multiple times by the garage that there was no issue, the car suffered a full engine failure. Instead, they later denied we had ever raised the issue, and kept Nissan Exeter’s report & concerns from us. They refused to apologise or offer meaningful assistance even in the run up to court. Their negligence and dishonesty could have posed a serious safety risk to our family if the full engine failure had happened at speed.

It took nearly a year and a court case before we received any resolution, and although we were eventually awarded compensation, the whole process was extremely stressful.

Based on this experience, I could not recommend this garage.
