Friendly responsive staff. Clean private room with own tv, in case you can’t sleep after the operation. Wide ranging menu but better quality bread/toast could be offered (very minor concern).

Endless late moves and cancellations
Consultant was good, and staff was friendly but:
My first appointment was cancelled 10 min before it was supposed to start.
My second appointment was on time
Third appointment was forcefully moved to a new time over post, without providing me with any options.
When I arrived for the third appointment the consultant wasnt there. However no one in reception notified me and I just had to sit there. After that I can't be bothered with Blackheath Hospital anymore.

I was a NHS patient referred by my GP. After 2 weeks I received an appointment to see a consultant, a week later had an MRI scan and a week later a follow up appointment with the consultant. Nice clean hospital and staff were very welcoming. If I could afford to have private treatment, I'd certainly recommend the Circle Health Group.
Chasing me for a sandwich?
I had to undergo a colonoscopy at Mt Alvernia hospital. As I was recovering from sedation, a nurse told me that since I had been fasting, I could have a sandwich to eat, and that it is "free." Lo and Behold, I am now being chased by the Circle Health Group for £5.40! Even though the nursing staff was stellar, I am giving the Circle Health Group 1☆ because their policy to not back their staff and chase a patient for a sandwich is utterly preposterous!
Was in extreme pain after operation and…
Was in extreme pain after operation and after care pain relief not effective. Still in a great deal of pain when discharged . Eleven days and nights with no sleep could not eat just brought me to tears. Called hospital four times had did not get a call back.
Had appointment on 2nd February with Rinze asked how I was doing my eyes filled with tears he went and found a doctor who prescribed me with a strong painkiller.
Went home slept thirteen hours . I was exhausted.
All in all this has not been a good experience for me and I will never revisit this hospital again .
Always on time
Always on time, very caring, good listener and the consultant and staff do not waste time even the xray/US is prompt. Very clean and neat environment, easy to change appt time and date. Good listeners and you can ask any questions which put your minds at rest.

Attentive and friendly staff made me feel at ease. The scan room was modern and clean. The procedure and follow up was explained clearly and simply, and I left feeling confident everything was in the hands of professionals.

Excellent and professional care at Bath Clinic. The private GP assessed my condition and immediately arranged an MRI scan within 2 days and prescribed pain meds. The MRI was carried out promptly and efficiently. All staff were very welcoming and caring for which I am very grateful. Would highly recommend Bath Clinic.
Hip replacement surgery
By providing caring and thoughtful staff they made my hospital stay whilst having hip surgery much more bearable than I was expecting.

Waiting time too long
I was called on the day and asked to come in earlier. I then had to wait over an hour to be seen.

to summarize this place:
the biggest obstacle in the path of discovery is not ignorance. it's the illusion of knowledge.
after waiting nearly a year for the referral to get through,
the doctor there was stuck in a pre-ordained diagnosis that doesn't really fit the symptoms i am experiencing.
she insisted that this is her diagnosis so these must be the symptoms i am experiencing. and prescribed a medication for those imaginary symptoms. told me to try the medication for 2-3 years and see how it goes. this is not exaggeration. that's what she really advised me to do.
knowing pretty well that doctors get offended when u argue against their diagnosis n become really defensive. i said sure i'll do just that but can we go back to the actual symptoms i am experiencing? can you actually examine them?
she says sure she can but she doesn't need to since she already diagnosed the problem and prescribed the medication. i asked for a more in depth examination. she said she doesn't need to do any. so i asked her how can i get a second opinion, hoping someone would actually listen to the symptoms and examine them. she told me i can go back to the reception and ask for a second opinion. i did just that and was told since i want a second opinion they will release my file back to my gp and they can do a new referral (meaning another year of waiting).
the receptionist was acting like how dare you question the god/doctor and wanna see another god? gods don't make mistakes at this hospital. we're a monotheistic hospital we do not believe in multiple gods.
the only decent part of the experience were the people working at the pharmacy. (keeping in mind this job only requires that they look at the scribbles on a piece of paper and match them to scribbles on a box). but at least they did everything right.
in conclusion: a total waste of time and money.
