Highly professional and knowledgeable independent advice given in relation to most efficient way to heat and insulate a large 17th century home. Information about how to proceed, including the cost involved, was very clear, enabling a site visit to be quickly arranged.

The new Annex had been designed with large glass walls and without consideration for hot summers so became intolerable for long periods. Rob Bohm gave good advice, followed up by good suggestions on implementation - sources of components etc. We have now done 2 of the 3 - the other later this summer - and the Annex is now nice to live in.

Having received 3 quotes for installing an Air Source Heat Pump with 3 differing specs we felt we needed some independent advice. CLPM gave us just that. They broke through all the jargon so that we could understand the quotes better and then make an informed decision.

Arranged for Marcus to come round and give me a 'big picture' view of the property we've just moved into (from an energy and heating point of view). Like all these things, the more curious and questioning one is, the more you'll get out of it. I found Marcus informative, pleasant and constructive and the follow-up written report very useful. Really appreciated the advice we received from Rob. He had reviewed the materials about our home that we'd sent through in advance and was well prepared to talk us though specific efficiency measures for our home and the sequencing of these. This was very clear and efficient (but not rushed) and we left with a much better idea of how to proceed, including avoiding considerable costs on a few areas we'd previously been considering and progressing some things we hadn't even thought of. We especially appreciated that the advice was genuinely impartial, and avoided the vested interests you can sometimes encounter with contractors. We would not hesitate to use CLPM in future.

Professional and pleasant to work with. A bit pricey but they did identify 3 problems with my heating system which I have been able to fix.
