My business needed to make a payment to the US, and the amount was over Starling's daily threshold. We were referred to Clearcap by another business. We found the team friendly and professional and their platform is straightforward and easy-to-use, and we got a much better conversion rate than Starling was offering, so a good cost save for the business. Ben talked us through the first transaction, which was pretty straightforward, and he has now assisted on over £200K of currency payments in the last month and saved a tidy sum compared to the the spot rates we would have got with our bank (Metro). I had to transfer euros into pounds for a property purchase. Luke Avon made this process as seamless as possible. He even when beyond the call of duty to let me know that the pound was going through a temporary blip and offered to secure the rate for a few days whilst funds were being transferred. Clear Capital make it really easy for us to arrange international payments at much lower rates than alternatives (banks etc). 10x better than transferwise! They are always really helpful and straight on the phone to help complete the transfer.
