The company I work for have been using CMT for some time and recently I have been dealing direct with CMT and an internal account manager called George Lepage. George has recently gone above and beyond with a tight order placed a few weeks. The item was out of stock at CMT and George managed to source the item else where and got this delivered on time.
The item was sourced from another company else where and once delivered was damaged some what. George looked into this issue and placed another order to replace and took this fully on himself to deliver.

I appreciate that we are all human and mistakes can be made, but you have severely let me down and quite frankly don't care.
Materials were ordered on a Next Day delivery, not even despatched until the next day and there is absolutely nothing your staff can or is it willing to do about it.
Cost to you Loss of an order of £72.70
Cost to me stand down time for an engineer on site £990
Delay in work 1 day £3,250 lost revenue
Transport costs as I now have to drive for 3 hours to another supplier to replace your order so that the stood-down engineer can re-start work tomorrow morning. £120 mileage and £75 time plus the cost of the work I should be doing.

30/6/21 update
Absolutely no further contact from CMT
Order cancelled on the 16th but still tried to deliver on the 17th delivery was rejected.
Customer Services promised a refund within 5-7 days

04/07/21 update
I had a very professional and apologetic call today from Connor, It appears that the refund and my previous update crossed over on the same day.
Connors professionalism and diplomacy has restored some faith in the company and I highly commend him for his actions.
As part of this update I have, as part of my restored faith Up-rated my review and altered some but not all of my text to reflect the actions taken.
Hopefully, internally action will happen to ensure this doesn't happen again to someone else.
