Unhelpful Driver
We recently paid for a race day trip to Aintree racecourse from a nearby area as we had done the exact same with the same company last year (about 30 min drive from ourselves). We decided to pay extra this year for the executive quote rather than the standard as the picture looked like it had lovely seats and a really clean bus. On the day, the bus that arrived was a school bus, covered in dirt and dust and definitely didnât feel like an executive minibus. As we knew it was a busy day, we didnât mind this to begin with. However, the bus driver took a really bizarre route and led us miles away from Aintree racecourse, pulled up on the side of a random road and asked us to get off and walk from there. It was a 27 minute walk to the racecourse, and we explained there was drop off points a lot closer and we would only have to walk 10 minutes from these points. He refused this as his friend was waiting at the place he told us to leave! One of our party asked him if he could try and get us any closer as us girls were wearing heels and he said we hadnât paid him we had paid his company so he didnât care! It was an awful start to our day and after using this company a couple of times successfully it has really damaged our trust in the company.

We booked a 53seater coach to take a group of swimmers to a Somerset swim camp. The coach was great on both the way out and the return - clean & on time. The driver was lovely, patient and calm as we had excitable kids on both journeys.

Great service but late drivers
While pricing was excellent, the driver was late on both occasions for each leg of the journey. This resulted in us running very close to arriving at the airport after checkin closure and meant we were hanging around on return, all incredibly tired, for over an hour waiting for the driver to show up. Other than the challenges with timing, the rest of the service was excellent and I was pleased with it.

Group transport for a bigger group of 25 people
We were looking for a transport service from Manchester Airport to Nottingham (25.04.2026) and back to Manchester Airport (31.03.2026) for a group of 25 people. Everything worked very well. The bus driver was on time and we had no issues. The bus was big enough for our luggage as well as we had a decent amount of sport equipment. As a suggestion it would be great to have some water on the bus for the passengers.

Mercedes coach but not well maintained.
Wasn't too clean in the back, arm-rests were covered in tape and wouldn't stay up. Driver was lovely though.

So much easier than the train
We had a group of 11 Americans with full luggage and needed to get from Reading to Leeds. The idea of travelling on the train with a tube change in London with all the luggage felt like it would be a nightmare. CHC have us a series of quotes and we accepted the one with enough space for all the baggage. The driver was prompt and the journey was straightforward with a stop when we needed it. So much easier than the train.

Whole thing worked seamlessly. 15 children and 3 adults transfers to and from heathrow. I have used several companies directly in the past and more often than not, they are late, unhelpful and much more expensive. I don't know the actual name of the company that CHC used but the driver (Heath) was great... contacted me the day before with pickup times and pins for meetup points.
I actually got the terminal wrong. We arrived at Terminal 5 for a BA flight, walked in and realised it was supposed to be Terminal 3. I called Heath who came back immediately, picked us up and dropped us off again.
Totally recommend this company/ platform!
