Spendmore Lane Coppull. They............ Don't care. Basically. The Pharmacist is the most arrogant person you'll ever meet. It's a shame, Angie is still there, and still smiling. The rest, it's like watching a robot without instructions in a maze, trying to work out where the exit is . Not a service area issue. Management is shocking. Gooooo, Cohens.

I am too absolutely fed up with Cohens Chemist. I live and use Cohens in Boston Spa and it now takes at least a week for a prescription to be ready. They are totally inefficient and the system they use is hopeless. I will now be using another local Chemist and advising my GP to send my prescriptions to my new much more efficient Pharmacy

Absolutely sick to death of this chemist. A trainee pharmacist told me today THAT ALL PRESCRIPTIONS HAVE TO GO TO THE HOPE (what he meant was “The Hub”) because they “can’t cope with the dispensing demand” and now ALL prescriptions will take FIVE WORKING DAYS FROM RECEIPT TO BEING AVAILABLE FOR COLLECTION.” My 85 year old housebound mum had doctors send her breathing medication yesterday. Nothing was delivered today so I went down. MY MAM CANNOT WAIT FIVE WORKING DAYS FOR EVERY MEDICATION NEEDED.
They don’t answer the phone to give advice or take walk ins.
WE HAVE NOW SWAPPED CHEMISTS!!!!!!

Despite ordering medication one week in advance ,one prescription not filled due to unavailability of medication (stuck in system was reason given).Told by assistant it doesnt matter if I miss a day.

After running out of the prescribed hospital
allocated medication and ordering a new prescription for a heart issue via the GP.
I had just been released from hospital 10 days earlier the receptionist said they would send it to coherns as it was next door.After being closed over the bank holiday when advertised as open I rang asking if they could deliver it like they advertise i was told that was only for bedridden people! A complete lie as I know they deliver I then said I was unable to drive and was suffering from dizzy spells head flushs and feeling like I was going to blackout that to still dident deem worthy of a delivery! After ringing a taxi and feeling like I was passing out a few times eventually got to the chemist and after takeing there time about it finally my prescription.
Avoid at all costs

The attitude of some of the staff is very abrupt, and they keep changing the goalpost, I am talking about the one at Crompton Way Health Centre, we had an arrangement that if we were not in they would deliver to next-door neighbour but when ordering, one of the staff said we don't do that, this is after years of ordering, then they won't put it threw the letter box, now they say we don't deliver one item, all that they did before? when asked about this we were told you can always go to another chemist, Very nice? But sometimes you speak to a different staff member and they are quite helpful.

Painkillers labelled at 30p came up at 70p at the till. They didn't honour the shelf pricing so I walked out threatening trading standards.
No reaction no apology.

Can't really fault cohens chemist.although it's closed Saturday.thevservice and high standard of staff make up for it.nothing is too much trouble for them.thank you.

Closed the chemist at our surgery in Crosshills (with the extended opening hours) for renovation and put up signs saying to use the other chemist. The other chemist is only a 2 min walk away so thats reasonable. You would also assume they would extend there opening hours so they can still offer the extended service to patients/customers. Of course they didnt. Shocking company disgusting service provided. Perfect example of why private companies should be no where near the nhs.

I'm absolutely sick and tired of getting text messages from Cohens telling me my medication is ready for collection. I'M NOT A COHENS CUSTOMER. Get your staff to check numbers properly.

Regularly have to wait over 7 days for a repeat prescription, this I suppose can be managed if the prescription is done by the doctor in time, however an emergency prescription takes just as long!!!!!
I believe the chemist has merged with the wholesale warehouse. Come on cohens. Welfare of your clients before profit.

Very rude counter staff at Menston near Leeds branch. Questioned as to why I wanted to collect my prescription now, totally unacceptable behavior.

I ordered medication and 3 out of 8 meds weren't in my package. No mention of this, yet my doctors think that I have had these items. I contacted the pharmacy and they said they would sort! Tomorrow will be 2 weeks since I requested my meds and still haven't received them. The response and arrogance of the staff is appalling.

I had an appalling experience at Cohens Chemist on Coal Clough Lane, Burnley. I went there with an emergency prescription referral from NHS 111 after my GP messed up my prescription. Desperately needing my heart medication, I had already gone without it for one night and was anxious about the weekend. The staff were incredibly rude and uninterested in my situation, refusing to even glance at the text message from NHS 111. They callously fobbed me off to another chemist, denying their ability to issue an emergency prescription, despite being listed on the NHS 111 service. Their dismissive attitude left me without my crucial medication for another night, putting my health at significant risk. Their behavior was not only unprofessional but downright dangerous. Avoid this chemist at all costs if you need reliable and compassionate care.

My aunt has alzheimers, Cohens deliver her prescription. Unfortunately she has recently worsened and a few times has gone into their branch or rung them up to say she is confused about her medication. The staff have bent over backwards to re-explain, and also ring me so that I am aware and can call her and reassure her/ remind her about how and when the pills are taken. I live a long way away and really appreciate them taking the time and care to do this.

Overall very poor service, extremely slow to turn around prescriptions and failure to notify you when they are ready. I have used this Pharmacy for twenty plus years, but it has deteriorated dramatically over the last year or so, resulting in me swapping to a different Pharmacy.

Keep getting told my medication is at an off site dispensary. This has been going on for over a month. I keep getting texts saying my prescription is ready to collect, I go to collect it and I’m told it’s not there and I never ordered anything. While I have proof on my online ordering saying it’s GP approved and the pharmacy it was sent to, followed by the text from this so called chemist saying it’s ready to collect.
Getting beyond a joke, they’re messing with people’s medications and people’s health!! My medicine is for long term conditions and if I run out it has awful effects.

I know it’s not just me they’re doing it to, I hear the same load of scheisse been shared with other customers in the building and hear them complain with similar stories to my own.

I also bought something from the shelf and was charged the wrong price (shelf stated cheaper than charged). Raised this and asked for it to be rectified and was told they shouldnt fix the issue but they will do it “this once”.

Staff seem absolutely incapable and the practice itself is a shambles. Bring back Lloyds pharmacy.

It's now taking a week and more for repeat prescriptions to be ready for collection from Cohens after they are signed off by the GP. It seems that scripts requested via surgeries are now sent by Cohens to their central hub to be prepared and are then sent back to the originating pharmacy. This slows the process down to a minimum five days before meds are ready for pickup. My local ASDA pharmacy, which closed down last year, usually had repeat items in stock and ready to collect within twenty minutes. Sadly missed and a real pity it closed.

Tetbury, Gloucestershire -the woman pharmacist with the purple hair always calls out the list of medication in the presence of others-including HRT!!! It is rude and indiscreet. This is our data and should be private. I am nervous every time she is there and I need a repeat prescription. I am determined to change to the Boots in Malmesbury or Cirencester. Why are we tolerating this?!
